Bron's impact on NBA is huge. He was the first superstar who didn't want to participate on all these contest. He didn't want to go through ups and downs and win. He is the clever and bold guy. He knew end of the day money is made with wins and narratives. So he wasn't scared about jumping ships and building superteams, he knew once he started winning and without any off court issues. Media and NBA can push as much as they want to support. We saw how the drugs scandal got put off immediately during his run at Miami by NBA and media. He broke that and then the others followed. KD and everyone started trying to make superteams and calling themselves they need to be in GOAT discussion. Bron is a clever MF man.

Adam Silver is the worst commissioner the nba has seen. He thinks players are motivated by money, when they’re already being paid ridiculous guaranteed contracts. Don’t give players a choice that’s what got the league into this issue. Today’s players are too entitled and they always have excuses. They want to get paid the same amount for playing fewer games. It's not that the stars not participating in the dunk contest, the all star game is an extreme representation of the league. They've focused on shooting 3s and they're slowly taking away defense. So once you get the top players in the league, you gon get a concentrated version of how the league is. He won the McDonald’s High school All-American dunk contest and was in the NBA skills contest same year he was drafted but not complete in dunk contest when that’s what he was already known for it. All of the great leapers before him competed within 3 years of being drafted. Everybody just be honest he’s had multiple opportunities to surpass Jordan and do the things to make him the goat but he has fallen short. Should’ve won more championships with the heat and stayed there but he left when Riley gave him no power. Should have realized the right play in the NBA sometimes is you taking the last shot more times than some roll player who will be out of the league when you leave the team. And not being afraid to fail…dunk contest, last shots, free throws etc.

I blame the NBA for stripping the game of the essence that made it great, they have broke down the defense, they don’t call traveling or carrying, the players run the team more than ever, nobody wants to compete , the all star game is not entertainment they use to play harder and I have never seen anyone hurt in the game, not saying they have to go whole game a thousand percent, but the rule changes after the malice in the palace the NBA has taken the physically out of the game , of course stop the fights and close lines but you have to be able to set up resistance to a great offense to have a great competitive game, It’s sad that the younger generation won’t ever see the true essence of the game, it’s supposed to get better but you have to leave the rules in place not strip it down just for the offense to have such a huge advantage, they changed because of the corporate model they want to portrait, I digress I can talk about a whole bunch of stuff but this is where the game is going
