It took me a minute to realize how he was pronouncing composter. I stopped and thought, “I didn’t know you could pronounce it that way” and then immediately he said that he was going to keep saying that to upset people and I laughed. He’s fun I like him.

I just realized that the farmer is the only villager that actively does their job

I am right now building a huge tree which contains 11 layers of wheet, carrots, beetroot or potatoes and we are pretty much finished last things to do are making the tree look a bit better, making a trading hall with farmers and finally making it totally automatic with sla- i mean villagers like in the tutorial so thanks a lot :)

Such a small farm is extremely slow at regular tick speed. Just make the tilled area a lot bigger and it will work better.
How big should I make it?
Why does mine not work I’ve pre planted I’ve tried breaking beds then replacing them same with the composters and I throw any crop at him and he just stands there

I reccomend puting a roof because of lightning the villager might turn into a witch.

If your farmer is not throwing crops to the villager in the middle, try giving the villager in the middle a different trade than farmer.
If your farmer is not throwing carrots or what your growing at guy in middle remove one composter and put a block instead that fixed it for me

What do u mean by 'composter joke' ?
I made a similar farm in my redstone practice world and my villagers don't do anything they just look at me confused or stand sadly in front of the composter
I've tried pre planting I've locked the prof. and I fully upgraded both of them

Sadly I don’t think many people can help without knowing what the farm looks like or how it works. We only know how this farm looks and works and while you say it’s similar we still don’t know what’s different.

My farmer isn't throwing to the villager in the cage. Can anyone explain or point me to some material that explains how that mechanic works? does the villager have to have an empty inventory? if so, how do I manage/check that? Thanks
It takes about 1 hour or lower but if you waited along time then you might have done it wrong
instead of trapdoors you can use slabs since they can be waterlogged
you could also just put water outside the design if you're building a single layer because it won't use any farm space

Did you guys know you can give the vilager bone meal and he's going to put that on the carrots enz so it's growing faster! I saw it last time by my farmer vilager

Hey i built the farm a couple a weeks ago and when i checked on it after afk'ing i found carrots on the ground is there any way to stop him from throwing carrots on the ground?
i have the same problem, the farmer just leaves carrots laying around, a suggestion i have that i might use is to make another minecart going around underneath all the dirt so that if it doesn't pick them up i still get them

My villager is stuck trying to pick up a carrot for infinite time and my farm stoped working any fixes? Also it only happens when it’s in front of the fence

Hopper minecart isn’t picking up their trades. Anyone have a fix?
So uhm I finished the farm works well and I even get an extra bonus I get bread from the villager
The bread might have been from a victorious raid, villagers give some rewards for saving them ( sometimes a book, otherwise its some food / flowers and all )

For some reason the villagers arent taking any seeds i give them and wont trade with each other, whats going on?

I don't think so i think the farmers put left over seeds in the composter to make bone meal

If you only want wheat use a minecart sesteem(whit powerd rails of course) ounder the farmer vilager, put by the water a stair, and if you only want beetroot or weat you don't need the second vilager, make a dubbel chest and hopper( so that the rails get over the hopper so the minecart can easily past and everything goes into the chest ) the hopper zo that the minecart whit hopper collects the wheat, and then trow so manny seads (wheat seeds) or (beedroot seeds) at the vilager if he picks enough up and planting them give the rest of the seeds to him so when he gonna haverst it he only picks the seeds up not the wheat so your minecart whit hopper wil collect it, and wolla you have wheat and manny beetroots i use it so many time, if you have questions ask ahead 😊
P. S bevore you put the mine cart whit hoppa on the rails, first you give the villager the seeds ohter wise your mine cart wil collect it 😁

if you traded with the villager already it wont change jobs sadly but you could breed the villagers and make the baby into a farmer just give a bunch of carrots or 3 breed to two villagers and they should have a kid sooner or later

If the villager in the middle got his hand on food the other one doesn’t share you might have to kill the middle villager and replace it
Hi I’ve just built this does it still work I’ve left it running but so far no wheat the farmer villager seems to just be going to the composter

@@monopully6477 I got it to stop going in composter, trade with them and remove the one station for the villager doing the farming. They now connect to each other but only making bread not getting seeds or wheat so basically a bread farm at the minute until I can figure what’s wrong

I got it working simply run a rail line under the farm with a hopper mine cart add lever wait until your farmer is full of and can no longer carry any more seeds and hit the lever to collect. The wheat and seeds will then be picked up 🙃
