Lesson 2 of a step-by-step method to solve Sudoku puzzles for all ages.

LCR enables new numbers in columns as well as teaches you the importance of ramifications ("ram").

This is important for those who speak another language.
You can turn on captions and have them automatically translated into the language of your choice.

I really like how you do this. Yes, there are a lot of "faster" ways to complete the puzzle you're doing, but you're not focusing on speed - you're focusing on a fool-proof system to solve the puzzle by following the PROCESS! You stick to it and don't take shortcuts. I would HIGHLY recommend you to a newbie sodoku player :).

I love the Sudoku Guy. They way you explain this is perfect. My son loves these things, when I asked him how to do it, he told me just fill in the numbers. LOL
So, I had went to my local Dollar Tree and picked up a large print Sudoku Puzzle book a year ago and it's just been sitting on my bookshelf, so I found your channel. I'm now going to try the first puzzle that says it's easy. That will be my homework for tonight.

Greetings from Calcutta, India. Dear Sudoku Guy, Sudoku interested me and I found a guy in our Central Library (Calcutta University) who solved sudoku puzzle during recess or his suitable time. He used to solve these puzzles in minutes. I never asked him how he used to do it. Now listening to your lessons i find there in "method in the madness" of Sudoku. I have already completed five lessons and come back to lessons one and 2. As a teacher of linguistics I taught the subject in the postgrad classes, where there was a topic called "reconstruction" by which we can reconstruct the earlier stage of the language taking data from different related languages. For that there are certain principles, which are ot not stand-alone principles at all, one principle may be stand-alone but for the sake of our conclusions are more scientific, we used to contact other principles too. Here I find while you you talk about LCR you also consult TMB because that is essential for your data to be more correct and fool-proof. Though you do not mention it even for a while we understand LCR cannot itself stand alone it has to be reliant on TMB also. I enjoy the way you explain, and I have become a fan of yours. I cannot afford to buy books, but I will be enjoying your explication online. Thank Sudoku Guy for instilling interest in me which was latent so far, now I will be active in trying to solve puzzles which appear in Bengali and English daileis and periodicals. Wish you all the best.

I'll tell you this: I've done hundreds of puzzles, but I sure wish I had come across you before going out on a limb.
You do it without telling them: you're giving them a solid foundation.
One of your very good points, is telling them that you're leaving out another way of doing this or that, because at that moment you're focussing on a particular angle of attack and you want to stay on it.......gradually, until better methods are found later on, becoming second nature to you.
Great stuff.
I must confess one thing here: I've become very despondent never able to crack an evil Sudoku despite having done literally hundreds of less demanding levels.
So I must have missed, and still be missing, something which I hope to find from you........much, much later.
There is hope yet, isn't there?

I am wondering if puzzles such as these would have been helpful for me in learning math when I was in middle and high school. I hated math and problem solving and my teachers were dry and apathetic. By the time I got to the algebra stuff it was a real struggle for me. Since this pandemic crisis and not being able to really socialize I have introduced my brain to sudoku and I am glad to have found your channel. This is a new day for me and I Thank you.

I know this was 2 years ago video but it helped me to solve 2 easy puzzles, and am moving to the medium now. I keep getting stuck midway and I would always look at the position of the numbers to check. U confirmed a technique that i thought was just nonsnse. thanks sir u helped me a lot. :)

I had a tiny computer game one, and as my eyes went downhill, I couldn't use it anymore! I now have it on a regular computer.

For anyone who has a Kindle scribe there is a note book page with squares on it and you can fill in the squares with the numbers from a puzzle much bigger so that you can fill in the numbers without having to rub out pencil marks.

I have just started playing Sudoku. I figured out the easy level (Washington Post) puzzles but I'm stymied by the medium ones. I spent 2 hours solving one the other day - kind of a waste of time. I hope you can teach me some ways to make it easier (aside from random guessing)
