This is a quite metaphorical approach but it might not be so far off after all. Or it could be that the morning sky pays tribute to the fallen by its reddening similar to how a requiem pays tribute for the fallen. And as "the land of the rising sun" Japan also has a lot of literature which includes the dawn and the morning sun as themes I think. (But even in the US national anthem they use "dawn" as a metaphor so it's not just limited to Japan.

I cried two times in my life: 1st when I was born, 2nd - when listened to this song.
They said it's interference, but I somehow enjoy it. The imperfections, the sound of the war raging as this song plays, a choir preparing its soldiers for their impending death.
I commented a year ago. and I forgot to add: the worst part is that the episode of his death was released on my birthday. I can't go a goddamn year without being reminded of his death.
I think this was set to be the closing because while coping up (or probably crying) for the things that happened on the whole episode, this is a good way to wrap up your emotion. It just has this haunting feeling yet sounded so hopeful and beautiful at the same time.
