Peter thank you for this awesome cross pattern. Your instructions were very easy to follow. This pattern works up fast which is very nice for when you need a quick gift.
Hi. It would be nice to have a pattern written down ad I am a beginner... I am much slower than you. Happy to buy a pattern on one of the pattern places.
Thanks so much for your video, Peter. It is a lovely cross and you do it so fast! Would you be willing to share how you control the tension on the thread?
Peter, I can’t pick a favorite color because they’re both beautiful and meaningful. I’m going to try my first with a variegated yellow thread surrounded with metallic gold. I’ll let you know how it turns out. Thanks for a beautiful pattern! What are you using to harden your pieces? Starch? Glue?
Hi Peter, thanks for the info. The thing I’m finding with starch is that it removes the natural sheen of the thread, but I’ve been using a heavy starch. I’ll try the light starch and see if there is a difference. What would you suggest if I wanted to harden my cross. Thanks and God Bless You!
Thank you so much. I have been looking for a cross pattern and you are an excellent teacher! Many blessings to you🌸

Rita Muller Thank you. For this I used light starch in a spray so they keep shape and they are soft.

My mother made crosses all in one piece - did not cut thread for each arm.
