If its a rainy day, Filipinos tend to have comforting rice soups for breakfast as well. Namely, the Arroz Caldo ( usually with chicken strips and hb egg ), Goto ( usually with pork tripe, innards, hb egg ) , Champorado ( usually sticky rice with chocolate powder mixed in, evaporated milk ) accompanied with dried fish, or puto if you like.
Wow! We have very similar in my culture. Arroz con pollo caldo (chicken rice soup), Champorado (made with same ingredients), etc.😱🤤

Actually, the only Breakfast Filipino food on ur table is the PANDESAL. And usually it is traditionally dipped on a black coffee.
However, commonly eaten for Filipino breakfast are Lugaw/Goto, Champorado, Tapsilog, Sopas.

Pan de Sal is best when partnered with Hot Coffee or Hot Chocolate...When you dip the Pan de Sal to the coffee or Hot Chocolate,and eat it afterwards,the best...
When baking it for the first time, it’s a little difficult to make it stay soft and fluffy for a long time (first-timers usually make it more condensed) so it’s best to eat it while it’s warm and hot fresh from the oven. Better yet to try a good one from a Filipino bakery or store first - go for the freshly baked ones.
And as people suggested, yes, it’s so good to dip it in sweet hot coffee (the instant variety haha) or cocoa. 💜💜💜💜💜💜
There's a variety of pandesal which has ube and cheese (ube-cheese pandesal). Those are fire!
breakfast suggestions: Tapsilog (Tap for Tapa = marinated beef strip), Dangsilog (Dang for Daing = dried fish), Goto (rice porridge with beef tripe), Champorado (chocolate and rice porridge), Tinapa with fried rice and egg
By the way, pandesal goes with almost everything. Try it with sauteed canned sardines (sardinas), spanish style sardines with mayonnaise, ham-mayo-egg, cheese-mayo, peanut butter and a lot more! :)
tocino also! its yummy, also theres differnt kinds of flavors of tonico and also varities of dried fish, but bangus is delicious, also theres TAHO!!, also breakfast foods like puto,biko,suman, all that sticky rice with cofee or hot choco!

Looks so good! So the egg and tomato, we usually cut up into the rice and eat that combo with the longanisa. Aside from losilog (longanisa) You can also try tocilog (tosino - sweetened pork), tapsilog (tapa - beef) and bangsilog (bangus - fish). Now im craving filipino breakfast! Lol Oh! Also try Crispy Pork, Mango and Eggplant Binagoongan an eggplant dish, with shrimp paste, mango, tomato with crispy pork!

The beef is already taste good by itself but usually we dip it to vinegar in your case your fave spiced vinegar…mmm mmm the best breakfast!

The flavor of an omelet isn't my favorite either, but tortang talong is one of my favorite foods ever. It might be because I love eggplant, but it is soooo bomb. I think you would definitely enjoy tapsilog and tocilog next time you have Filipino breakfast 😊

Right! Regular omelettes are too eggy. I loved this one cause flavor was mellow and delish. Loved the suka I added on top too.🤤🤤🤤
Oh and I also LOVE eggplant dishes.😋
The banana ketchup pairs well with the torta. The suka will complement with the longganisa.

Haha Big Guy im so like you when eating Pandesal, spread is not enough. Some breakfast food also we eat are beef tapa, tocino, daing na bangus (milkfish), tuyo (dried salted fish), karne norte (corned beef), and meat loaf.
