@@flowrepins6663 Not really. Both countries are "the best". If you say that thais suck at boxing, then you can also say dutchman suck at kicking, because you can clearly see that their kicks are not nearly as fast and strong as the thai's kicks.

We should not debate whether a Dutch champion is "really" Dutch or not. Lets just be proud that the Dutch school brings so many champions. Even real foreign fighters trained by Dutch. Lets be proud of the multicultural society we have. We still have some issues but trust me we are way ahead of most countries. Count your blessings please!
I love Gokhan but he ain’t the best. He has boxing skills and His style looks like Tyson’s style but Hari is the best of all time.1st fighter is Badr and 2nd fighter is Saki right now Saki fights in the UFC’s LHW division
Extremely happy to see this hit 1 mil views soon. Well deserved if you aks me. That goes for both the editor and the fighters. Love the dutch style. Always have. Simple, devasting and effective. I salute all of you.
Dutch style is the best! Yes they all have different nationalities but all of them grew up in the Netherlands and they did all their training and growing in the kickboxing gyms of HOLLAND!!
I trained like 3 months here in Texas under James McSweeney before Covid took over. The level of confidence this gives you is ridiculous. Just knowing how to kick a dude in a fight. 😎
ShadarSixx Two reasons... But the main reason is that I want to make videos that include only HD footage. The second reason is that Ramon is a Muay Thai legend, so I wanted to show something of him but not to much in this particular video because its called Duth Style Kickboxing which is still different than Muay Thai or Thaiboxing. I already made a Ramon Dekkers RIP highlight to honor him for everything he has done :)
The dutch have always been my favourite..don't know the old guys but Remy and Peter Aerts I loved watching them fight with such precision. Pity South Africa only had Mike Bernardo but thats why i started watching
The Dutch have a great history in the world of kickboxing / Muay Thai. Ramon Dekkers, Ernesto Hoost were heroes to me back in the day. Lol, they still are.
No other country has had so much good fighters that they had to come out for other countries to be able to fight at the K1, Dutch Kickboxing is the BEST.
Youre vids always inspire me before workouts, but this one made me fill up with pride too! Proud of all those who represent our style of fighting. Always going forward and making combo's.
Little country with a great legacy of creating great kickboxers and K1 fighter. Ofcourse, represented by many backgrounds who live here, but the type and style of training elevates those skills. No simple one kick one punch combo's. They basicly introduced the 3 or 4 lethal combo's. Dutch style should be part of everyone who is training kickboxing. Lead in your killer combo...make your opponent deal with your intro kick and get in there unleashing your power.
The best kickboksers come from the Netherlands (wether Born or not, all raised in Holland), here it comes: Semmy Schilt, Badr Hari, Peter Aerts, Ernesto Hoost, Rémy Bonjansky, Erol Zimmerman, Gokhan Saki, Alistair Overeem, Bas Rutten, Tyrone Spong, Ismael Lazar, Albert Kraus, Ramon Dekkers, Stefan Struve, Rico Verhoeven, Hesdy Gerges, Ismael Londt, Nieky Holzken, Jahfar Wilnis, Melvin Manhoef, Mohammed Jaraya, Tayfun Ozcan.
Only a few of the fighters were native Dutch...But I do have to say that Dutch Fighting Clubs makes Champions..Hats off to the trainers and their dedication. They really make us Proud.
Badr Hari, Gokhan Saki, Peter Aerts, Ernesto Hoost, Sem Schilt, Andy Souwer, Albert Kraus, Robin van Roosmalen, Hesdy Gerges are all born in The Netherlands... all the other guys lived from the age of 4 till now in The Netherlands;) It doesn't matter where you come from it's about the Dutch style of kickboxing. In the past few Dutch trainers traveled around the world to learn and combine their own style... all these trainers became successful and made several champions;)
True story;) He started fighting under the Dutch flag but because of the negative Dutch audience he switched to the Moroccan flag... The first fight against Stefan Leko in Amsterdam was the turnaround, he lost on a body kick and the crowd start boooing when he wanted to thank them by grabbing the mic;) (check RUclips for this fight). After his switch he got a letter from the Moroccan king and all the Moroccans treated him as a god so good choice I think:P
Joshua Esparza wtf are you talkin? badr lost from zabit because he comes from the jail and a month after a match against zabit, and against hesdy he was twice so better than hesdy and he kick him after the referree says stop, and kareav he just got owned because he was lying down on the ground en kareav was kicking him punches
What im talking about is the mans not the number 1 K-1 guy never was never will be. You have guys like Aerts, Cro Cop, Hunt, Lebanner, Sefo, Hug, Overeem, Spong who are all above him in lists of ability and skill
True... but there is still hope, kickboxing is growing at the moment in every country in The Netherlands we don't need good gyms, fighters or trainers because we already have that, we only need a gouvernment/media that supports the dutch kickboxers... they dont see kickboxing events as a competition but as a criminal meeting/activity. I hope one day kickboxing will be mainstream in The Netherlands like MMA already is in the USA. I can only expose all the champions that we have... we'll see

yeah I try to introduce it to my friends in a way that shows it in a good light (im dutch), but it's hard with all the preconceptions. Even within fighting sports practitioners there are many with views that echo the media reports. im hopeful though, we're so connected to the rest of the world, as its opinion shifts so will ours one day.
Melvin Manhoef, 173 cm, and what a beast he was explosive, fast, strong, knocked out much bigger guys, Gokhan Saki too, although Saki was 182, and Andy Hug, 180 cm, RIP Andy
True;) but for how long?? maybe within a year they also have a sharper copyright system and then everything starts over again... Best thing is to just upload the videos to my website without using RUclips, Vimeo etc... I have tried this last week but the maximum video upload size to a Wordpress website is 30MB ... my videos are over 1 GB:P But for now Vimeo is good, I only miss the likes and comments that's nice about RUclips, it motivates me also;)
