Y'all need to get to the next episode like now... the intrigue, the cinematography, the suspense. You're gonna absolutely love it.
I've delivered babies as a medic and YES IT DOES SOUND LIKE THAT. With no machines, you hear all the juices. Daemon's 1st question was "my brave girl, will the mother survive?" Viserys' 1st question was "will the child survive?" Daemon wasn't going to cut her open. Larys is crazy. But, you'll see next episode.
“He got a fresh press… Silky!” Lol 😂. This show. Does. Not. MISS! 👏🏾 So good
Harwin was an adamant protector of his brother and didn't take anyone talking shit about him. So, in my mind there wasn't any mistreatment. All fueled by jealousy smh
Nah, Harwin had to leave because his dad who is hand of the King knew Rhynera’s children was fathered by him. Ser Strong didn’t want the gossip to grow louder.
People are upset that Cole wasn't punished but don't forget Jaime got a pass for murdering the king he was sworn to protect. It's all about who's got your back. And Cole had the Queen backing him up just like Jaime had Tywin. Lionel was too noble to back his son.
She Said Pack Your Boyfriend We're Leavin Soon😂
Remember a few episodes back when y’all loved Sir Cristin? My have the times changed 😂.
Changed!!!!!
Yeah, the book readers knew what was coming. The rest of us had to find out the hard way.
Alicent is a by the book traditional woman and Rhaenyra throws it out the window whenever it pleases her. Aegon should be 13-14yrs. old pulling that Homelander in that window.. Pregnancy's are brutal... Shout out to all the women who have done it and more than once. Now Queen Aemma vs Lady Laena pregnancy's death scene, when it happened to the Queen King Viserys asked if the "BABY" would survive but Daemon asked if the "MOTHER/Laena" would survive... Oohh! Daemon was going to try an save Laena but Laena knew that both her and the baby were going to die and she made "HER" choice, A Dragon Riders Death. Daemon did love her and I believe he will return to her home (can't remember name ) to raise the girl's at some point hopefully next episode. Larys is psycho but loyal to Alicent 99.99% and a second son who got to make his mark on his own. Also House of the Dragon is more about the children so there should be more time jumps before the season is over.
Alicent is stupid to trust ole Clubfoot. Anyone who would merk that much of his immediate family for personal gain can’t be trusted.
I can understand (but not condone) how scandalized Alicent is by Rhaenyra’s behavior. Tradition has its place but she is being way extra.
At the end of the day, she married into a family of dragon riders who view inbreeding as normal. How anything about their personal lives be normal. SMDH.
Fun fact! At the Small Council they were discussing Lord Grover Tully of Riverrun, ancestor of Catelyn, Edmure, and the Blackfish. It's fun and interesting to note the names of Lord Grover's grandson, Elmo Tully, and Elmo's sons, Oscar and Kermit. They are Lord George R.R. Martin's nod to Sesame Street and the Muppets.
Laena was killed similarly but NOT exactly in the books. She went out better than in the books. Unfortunately they cut Daemon’s hugging his daughters.
I have rewatched this with y’all over and over! I love my people cause y’all say exactly what we be thinking!
Please every time one of y'all say Lamarcus I lose my breath. But in all seriousness the next episode is OUT. AND ITS RAUNCHY like, giving episode 5 vibes. Love your channel!
One of the books scenes that was cut from GoT was Robb fighting Joffrey in a training scene like this one.
Robb would've kicked his privelaged little ass
This is one of the reasons I was apprehensive about the race swap for the Velaryons.
In the books, Laenor has white hair and pale skin, but Rhaenys has dark hair (her mother was a Baratheon). So there was plausible deniability. Rhaenrya's kids could have inherited their dark hair from their grandmother. But on the show, there is no way to even pretend those are Laenor's kids.
Yeah, I'm not big on how obvious they made it now with those changes.
Ooohhh! Didn’t catch that her mom was a Baratheon! Yea that definitely changes things. I guess they really wanted to make it obvious. See, that would have been a valid argument for all those people that were upset about the race swap, but they only cared about the skin color. They could have made the kids more melanated with dark hair though. But it does cause more drama for it to be obvious.
@@WhatWeWatchin This is where perhaps having a black executive producer on the show to make this obvious point would have helped!
@@WhatWeWatchin they hinted at it at the tournament. Lord Baratheon calls her cousin when he asks for her favor at the heir's tournament, the one where he calls her the queen that never was.
That is one complaint I have about the show. Some of these connections are only obvious if you've read the book.
@@WhatWeWatchin But also we can take a real life example of Prince Harry and Meghan's kids -- Meghan is mixed just like Laenor, but her kids look completely white (I mean they at least got their daddy's hair and didn't come out completely a different hair color than their parents'). If Rhaenyra and Laenor had kids, they'd only be a quarter Black (and could look all white like Archie and Lillibet -- those kids are also a quarter Black, but are as white as processed bread) and like y'all said -- they could've easily passed it off as a recessive Baratheon gene that showed up a couple generations late. I think in this situation they could've played that Baratheon aspect up more.
@5:45, from Viserys point of view it doesn’t matter who is the father of Rhaenyra’s kids. They are still his grandsons. So he doesn’t have any problem loving up on them.
As for Alicent it shouldn’t matter either, Rhaenyra is the heir so her kids take precedence over hers. If she could have gotten the stick out of her , her sons and their nephews would have been thick as thieves. Instead Alicent has raised her sons to hate their sister and her kids.
Everytime I see Viserys, I can just see how this family squabble has hurt him emotionally and physically.
After episode 8's final six-year time-jump, it's fuckin' on. The prologue is over. No more time-jumps. The cast in episode 8 is the cast we rollin with, period. The final cast. We're here. We about to Dance, y'all.
@7:30 "Look at u being a Faaather" 😆
@25:00, Laenor’s family keep is Driftmark not Driftwood. LOL.
Glad to see I’m not the only one who keeps saying driftwood. Dang George R.R. Martin for naming it that.
you guys are so funny lmao. subscribed.
episode 7 is so good
Everyone says the Valarians have blond hair but they have silver and the Targaryen’s have blond. It seems silver is more dominant but yeah
Ya'll three are funny. I love your reactions!
20:30 The key to this was hinted at earlier throughout the season. If you recall Corlys and Daemon's conversation, when you're the 2nd son, you're kinda sorta chopped liver and have to make your own way. Harwin is the eldest and the most praised knight in the realm. You'll also recall Tyrion says in GOT Season 1 he has a special place in his heart for, cripples, bastards and broken things. That's of note because most do not. So you see Larys has been living like Screech in the shadow of his brothers Zack Morris. Harwin stands to gain his fathers inheritance, retain his popularity as the strongest knight in the realm and become the Lord of Harrenhal, the largest castle on the continent. That's plenty reason to kill your dad and brother if you're one who is so inclined.
Just the reaction i needed ..lol "the queen can bring her b**** a** to me" lol🤣🤣
The beginning video reminded me of those videos they use to show us in health class of women giving birth man 👏🏽 to all women who went through that process 💪🏾 respect man cuz wow 👏🏽
I’m enjoying y’all (best Franz in my head🤣) during this season! It’s exciting to see something new and can y’all imagine if they turn this into a GoTCU(Game of Thrones Cinematic Universe) with soooooo many avenues to explore!!
A-Team, y’all are 🔥!!
John snow was a Targaryen and he didn’t have blonde or silver hair and nobody questioned that.and his father had silver hair.
Yeah but nobody knew but Ned and maybe 5 other people.
@@technopirate304 Only Ned and Howland Reed (Meera's father) knew.
But I was questioning like why the hell all three (or four) kids of Alicent's with Viserys all came out with silver hair?? Alicent had dark hair and was not a Targaryen or even related to Viserys.
7:08 y'all are too funny
Can’t wait for episode 8!
Ladies quickly do episode 7. It's phenomenal but there's another time jump coming.
How is Alicent a liar? Rhaenrya is the liar and the manipulator. What show are you ladies watching?
Lie of omission. Alicent never told Rhaenyra that she was going to marry her father.
@@WhatWeWatchin she was ordered not to by the king. You can't really blame her for that one.
It's like the situation Jaime described in GoT to Brienne. The king he was sworn to protect ordered him to murder his father. What's more honorable? What is your duty? Obey your king or honor your father?
Alicent was ordered by her father to comfort the king and ordered by the king to keep their talks secret. Does she obey her father and the king or remain loyal to her best friend? Not an easy choice for a 15 year old.
@@havok6280 So that's Alicent excuse and Rhaenyrae has her excuse so. But Rhaenyrae not trying to kill her family so it's obviously different.
@@JerseyBoy489 when did I say Rhaenrya had no excuse? I'm talking about Alicent. But I'd hold off on putting Rhaenrya on too high a pedestal. No one is pure in this story.
@@havok6280 Who cares about pedestal though she is the heir. Death follows Otto is wrong and Alicent is wrong, they know right from wrong.
The start of queen hypocrite. Partners with murderer and not only doesn’t punish but reward and work with yet is sooooo devoted to the seven. Lol
Rip sir harwin. Coulda prob got away but stayed to try to save his father no matter what. A true real one.
Lol. Right!
Always enjoy your reactions to this show, ladies. The messiness and pettiness of the main characters is off the charts
So many problems would have been solved if Rhaenyra had chosen a lover that didnt look exactly OPPOSITE to her gay husband lol?
Like, pick a dude who´s at least either blonde or black, then at least there would be plausable deniability.
Breakbones won her over when he whupped up on everyone then threw her over shoulder.
Yes !!! Now my day is complete !!!
Morning my ladies glad to enjoy some house of the dragon with you 😊
Exactly, rhae rhae could have found someone on Driftmark to do the deed, as that while island nothing but brothas! 😂
Vhagar is a she-dragon. Also next ep oof
I was waiting to see yall faces when those kids popped in. 😂😂😂😂😂.. whew!! I'm still team black tho! Lol
I love it! “I don’t like Alicent so I won’t agree with anything she does.” 😂😂😂 I totally don’t understand why Ser Criston was not punished. Everyone saw what happened. I guess Alicent really has that much pull to keep him as her knight. It was awful the Alicent wanted to see the baby right after Rhae gave birth. Kinda love how Rhae left a trail of blood…(like kiss my afterbirth, b*!) 😅
Great reaction 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
As much as I think the Ser InceI jokes have always been hilarious and it's a trip watching it catch on in the mainstream, I do wonder how many people truly understand "not transplanting 21st century sensibilities on a medieval knight". Criston is probably not gonna understand slay queen Rhaenyra was just having a hot girl summer. But that aside...the memes are hilarious ngl. Men when you say no once 😂. Gets rejected & starts a coup before it was cool 😂. Someone tweeted "dude would be a menace if they had podcasts" & I spat out water thinking Criston on a roundtable with Andrew Tate and Fresh and Fit 😂😂
Some could also make the argument that if the genders were swapped it would be called rape
🤣😂🤣😂
RUclips is shady why am i only finding about yall now
Glad you found us!
O-K??? I just found them a few days ago.
Alicent : When you're just trying to call out the family th0t, raise an actual man, and hold the realm together through male primogeniture but the audience hates you 😔
Nah jokes aside, Rhaenyra totally made that offer out of the kindness of her golden heart and pure generosity. It totally wasn't because she is trying to entrench the claim of her illegitimate son. No sir. A flimsy marriage alliance is not gonna save Prince Aegon & Aemond’s lives if Rhaenyra’s spawn by Harwin takes the throne & ppl start calling him what he really is. Fans swearing this time the Targ Queen they support won't turn out to be a complete psycho. Insert Always Sunny in Philadelphia Pepe Silvia gif. 👏👏 Moar Girlboss Warlords 👏👏
Turkey baste? Lol . I can hear the maester now, “I’m afraid we’ll need to baste it then put it back in for a little longer, your highness. It isn’t quite done yet. We want the skin nice and crispy. Did you add seasoning? We wouldn’t want the child to turn out bland.”
I saw an interview where Matt Smith was said to be the one among the cast who hated his wig the most. I wonder if that had influence on the changing hairstyles or was influenced by it? Hmm.
Great reaction! Next episode is a bit wild.
Oh you sweet summer child. Not knowing what turkey baste actually meant 🤣
@@FullMetalB seriously... someone suffers from a lack of imagination...
@@FullMetalB lol I knew what it meant but I like the idea of it being a food reference instead of artificial insemination. :) lot more funny that way.
What I find odd is that everyone acts as though a gay man can’t father children with a woman. It has happened throughout history. It would have been very distasteful to both of Rhaenyra and Laenor…and they did try. But it wasn’t to be.
when on earth did alicent lie or betray anyone??
Catch up! People are already talking about episode 7. This is the biggest show in the world, by far, right now and you are putting it on the level of "She Hulk"? Skip those other shows, watch episode 7, and put out a review FASTER !!!
Relax
@@FullMetalB 😂. Just trying to help.
We have full time jobs and other responsibilities. We watch the shows when we are able to. That doesn’t always align when a show is released. We get the reactions out as fast as we can.
@@WhatWeWatchin Understood. Thanks for the reviews. But .......
You three have something special here. This could be a big money maker for you if the channel was organized differently.
Your channel, your rules, so I will no longer continue with my suggestions. I enjoy your content. Thank you.
episode 7 was really good.
Wait…. Y’all a week behind?
Sorry yes, we didn’t have time last week to watch. Episode 7 will be out by Wednesday
How is Alicent evil , having bastard children and ascending them to throne is good but yeah being faithful and having legitimate children is bad
she keeps conspiring to have Rhaenyra and her children revealed which could lead them all to be killed. She is the one who first lied and went behind Rhaenyra's back to court her father, right after Rhaenyra's mother died. She is evil and will continue to be more evil as time goes on. She's an asshole
Keep watching
@@technopirate304 No need have read the books
Unfortunately, not enough time was spent in the show with both Harwin & adult Laena so that their deaths truly felt like a punch to the gut :( Always a little off-putting when only a handful of characters are aged up and other characters who should also look older don't look a day older.
Uh…that ain’t how the “When you play the game of thrones” line goes Amber
🤔. Just changing all the history.
I did my best. 🤷🏾♀️
Who is really the liar ? Rhaenyra is the original Cersei. There's only 1 person trying to put bastards on the throne.
Their claim comes from Rhaenyra so the father in inconsequential. Cerseis children had no Baratheon blood so no claim
@@mattquintana7814 And Rhaenyras kids have no claim. Bastards cannot inherit over true born children. Dont be an idiot
@@mattquintana7814 incorrect. Legitimacy matters in Westeros. That's why it was so important that Rhaegar actually married Lyanna. It's not enough to have the right bloodlines. You also need to be true born. If you don't believe me, look up the Blackfyre Rebellion.
@@havok6280 other than the show there is still no proof in the books that rhaegar married Lyanna. But what I’m saying is that I’m this instance it doesn’t matter do to the fact laenor has claimed them as his and given them his name. So by law they are legitimate. And since they have no DNA tests in Westeros it’s their everyone’s word against everyone else’s.
@@mattquintana7814 no, that's not what you said. You said they have Rhaenrya's blood, so it doesn't matter who their father is.
What I'm saying is blood alone is insufficient.
And Robert claimed Cersei's children and gave them his name. He believed they were his and there was no DNA to prove otherwise. So under your logic, Joffrey's claim was legitimate.
The reason Criston Cole looks the same is because he was in his early thirties, in episode 2 he said he had a lot of sex when he was young so this grown man was doing the most
Ladies, I apologize for my post from Episode 5 HOD that violated your posting policies and meant to disrespect. I truly enjoy your reaction and discussion and promise that it will not happen again going forward.
🤣
🤣🤣 thank you
Absolutely took me out of it...the weirdness of her boldly having babies with someone else so obviously...this thing of acting like because dude is gay he can't get erect or impregnate a woman...dumb as hell. But it seems to work for folk...I don't get it...but I guess willful ignorance is a major piece of the narrative...fans have to be like the King and just press forward with the goal of getting to the end never mind the details of genetics and phenotypes
First, genetics in this fictional world do not match real world genetics. In our world, red hair is a recessive trait. In Westeros, (at least in the books) all the Stark children except Arya inherited red hair from Cat. Rhaegar had three children with two different dark haired women. But only two of his three children had dark hair. One inherited silver hair from his father.
Second, this show decided to further muddy the waters by casting black folks as the Velaryons. The Velaryons have pale skin and silver hair in the books. And Princess Rhaenys has dark hair, inherited from her Baratheon mother. So Rhaenrya's kids having dark hair is more plausible.
