Genius. My son loved Mac and he always wore his incredibly dope shirt. Very sadly my son passed away at age 18 in 2012. I recently was looking at a picture of us together and he's wearing that shirt. I started listening to Mac. Now I understand why my son liked him so much. I can't stop listening to it. I bought a T shirt just like my son. Same color and everything. It makes me feel close to him. RIP Mac Miller and Joey Foreman. I love you both!

Faces is a pretty fucked up album but it’s all about his drug use and it says a lot about what getting so famous so young did to him psychologically….. His album Swimming was just, wow. 2009 is an amazing song. Circles as an album is just incredible, truly.
I was optimistic about the album because it was Jon Brion doing all of it. Dudes a legend, in soundtracking movies and playing a huge role in Late Registration.

this album coming out today means everything. My boyfriend and I used to listen to Mac Miller on the bus to high school 8 years ago, that's what first got us close. Tomorrow is my boyfriend's birthday, he passed away a year and a half ago. About a month before Mac passed. Mac's birthday is the following day, the 19th. Mac and my boyfriend look so similar and are the same in a lot of ways. I have always felt that wherever they are right now, they are chilling and smoking and laughing. I'm looking at this album like a true gift from Mac. ❤️

I've been listening to Mac Miller since he came out with the high Life. He got me one in the drink Miller high Life because of that mixtape. When he came out watching movies with the sound off... I was drinking Jameson. swimming came out and he posted that Instagram of him drinking Stella's. I got into Stella's. I got into smoking natural spirits cigarettes. When he passed away. It was like damn. Mac Miller like been chilling with me for years through his music. He got me through some fun times he got me through some rough times. Mac Miller was definitely the homie when my homies wasn't around. And when I got with my homies he was played all the time. The circles album is more of a relaxing album. I decorated my front yard for my ex girlfriend at the time and I made some dinner for both of us. I set a table and candles. Very romantic. She came blindfolded while her mom brought her to my house and I played this song and looked at her and started slow dancing with her. I knew I had a drug problem and this song made me feel relatable to what Mac was saying enough to make me say that this song brings tears of joy from a period of time. 🩵💜 never regretted one moment. I gotta be real, I never appreciated Mac's music all that much when he was alive. I guess I just never gave it a shot. After he died I ended up listening to all his work, and it really impacted me. I wish he didn't have to die for me to discover him, but this album feels like the best thing he ever worked on. maybe it means more knowing it's one of the last.
I feel you man, I wasn’t a fan at all while he was alive. I didn’t care to listen to the name of the artist, and I really do regret it. It’s some of the most beautiful music I’ve ever heard. Everything, all of his music. I listened to everything and I could easily say Circles is his best work...Truly heartbreaking.
You know when swimming came out I struggled listening to it. I could tell he was in a dark place. I don't know if I've listened to the whole album to be honest. I didn't want it to end... For Mac to end. But this whole album I listened to back to back and I feel so at peace. So appreciative of him and his rawness... He never let the fame make him less real. Omg go revisit swimming. It’s a PHENOMENAL album and I’m almost jealous you get to listen through for the first time if you want. Yes it’s contemplative and with a couple sad songs bc he was going through a breakup but it isn’t heavy about drugs. Also it has a lot of up fun songs which this album obviously doesn’t bc it would be a little odd and out of place all things considered. But no major drug talk.... That’s the thing about being a legitimate drug addict. Once it takes over your life you stop talking about it. He’s allusive and talks about his feelings but it’s not like as SAD and “I’m alone in my room doing drug all day” like GO:OD AM or even Watching Movies. It’s beautiful and honestly he was ROBBED that he didn’t get the Grammy. I don’t care who he was up against. His album was like nothing ever heard before.

This is exactly how I imagined Mac to continue evolving his sound in such a profound way. So much talent. It makes me sad knowing that after these songs come out it will probably be the end of this musical journey... with that being said I’m beyond happy that we got to go on these last rides with him.

I knew Mac for only about an hour before a concert set back in 2016. A blunt and a couple of friends and we were like childhood best friends and I just met the dude. Best part was that I discovered his music that day. Truly felt like I lost a brother when I heard the news.

Mac passed away in a really weird point in my life. My son was gonna be born and right before Malcolm passed away. I’ve been listening to Mac Miller when I was 14 and I feel like it was the last bit of me that was stuck in the past. It almost represented the childish stuff I used to do growing up. When Mac passed away I feel like that part died too. I can now be a dad. I am now a man. So than you Mac, for raising me and making me the man I am today
Man, it's insane how a lot of us grew up alongside Mac, I started listening to Mac at 14, just starting life in a new high school, now I'm at the doors of turning 20, with half my college career done, engaged with the love of my life and soon to move to our own house, and I love that Mac's music was always playing in the background of all the low points and huge milestones of my life, even when everything was happening so fast. It was a hard hit when he left, but I'll make sure my kids know who he was not only as an artist but as a person, he and his music must live on. It's the least I can do for someone who's music has been my companion for as long as I can remember.
I’ve been listening to this dude since I was like 9 or 10 (I’m 16 now). His music helped me thru so much and the day he died was one of the hardest days I ever had, not just because of his passing but because of surrounding life situations. Listening to Mac music brings me back to when my bestfirend was here. She passed last month over an apparent overdose of Oxycodone. She was only 23 and I wondered why she was so nice to everyone , she always told me she don't think she'll make it to be old and that when she passes I better make it to her funeral. I kept my promise and I was there , I even got to toss a white dove to the sky. She kept me Above waters and sane until I was better. I spent the day with her after months of not seeing eachother and I heard the next day she was gone 😢. I feel like Mac Miller had the same thing killing him on the inside that she had also. I tatted her on my Arm so she'll be with me until the day I'm done here on Earth also. RIP KARELY AND REST IN PEACE MAC MILLER. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING
Lost my best friend February 2nd 2017 She commited suicide. Same day we were suppose to go get a coffee and talk. Was teaching her how to drive. Like you said, she kept me afloat and sane. I lost one of my best friends to an alcohol + oxy od a little over 2 years ago, less than a week after his 22nd birthday. He’s tatted on my leg. Weird how similar our situations are. It’s sad :( he was a 1 in a million kind of dude who loved everyone and everyone loved. He had a truly eclectic music taste, but Mac was a favorite of his for sure. I was never a hardcore Mac fan before his passing. But at the time of his passing I was going through a very hard breakup in my life and I was in a dark place. I listened to swimming whenever I heard the news. And I loved that album. Songs like Dunno, and 2009, and self care helped get me out of a very dark place. We went to a small concert of Macs when he was just getting started tickets were like 15$. My best friend passed on my birthday in 2017, Mac passed 9 months later. The day Swimming came out i was so sure it was the best album i had ever heard in my life, the whole album made me feel a type of way, every single song touched my soul in a way no other album ever has, Circles has me feeling extremely nostalgic, it’s really making me feel his passing all over again, i still remember what i was doing and where i was at the moment i saw the news, fu***** broke my heart seeing the news and i just couldn’t wrap my head around it, had me shedding tears at work uncontrollably & at that moment i knew we had lost one of the greatest artists of our decade. The second was with Fight the Feeling on repeat, when I was in a really dark place. If I had been found 5 minutes later, I would have died en route to the hospital. Mac was looking over me both times; I know he was saying we’ll meet some day, it’s just not my time yet.

The worst part has to be that after all the growth and progression we have all witnessed in his music this is literally the end.... even when more music gets released over the years this was the sum total of all of his abilities so far. this album coming out today means everything. My boyfriend and I used to listen to Mac Miller on the bus to high school 8 years ago, that's what first got us close. Tomorrow is my boyfriend's birthday, he passed away a year and a half ago. About a month before Mac passed. Mac's birthday is the following day, the 19th. Mac and my boyfriend look so similar and are the same in a lot of ways. I have always felt that wherever they are right now, they are chilling and smoking and laughing. I'm looking at this album like a true gift from Mac. ❤️

Omg go revisit swimming. It’s a PHENOMENAL album and I’m almost jealous you get to listen through for the first time if you want. Yes it’s contemplative and with a couple sad songs bc he was going through a breakup but it isn’t heavy about drugs. Also it has a lot of up fun songs which this album obviously doesn’t bc it would be a little odd and out of place all things considered.
But no major drug talk.... That’s the thing about being a legitimate drug addict. Once it takes over your life you stop talking about it. Mac passed away in a really weird point in my life. My son was gonna be born and right before Malcolm passed away. I’ve been listening to Mac Miller when I was 14 and I feel like it was the last bit of me that was stuck in the past. It almost represented the childish stuff I used to do growing up. When Mac passed away I feel like that part died too. I can now be a dad. I am now a man. So than you Mac, for raising me and making me the man I am today
Man, it's insane how a lot of us grew up alongside Mac, I started listening to Mac at 14, just starting life in a new high school, now I'm at the doors of turning 20, with half my college career done, engaged with the love of my life and soon to move to our own house, and I love that Mac's music was always playing in the background of all the low points and huge milestones of my life, even when everything was happening so fast. It was a hard hit when he left, but I'll make sure my kids know who he was not only as an artist but as a person, he and his music must live on. It's the least I can do for someone who's music has been my companion for as long as I can remember.

I’ve been listening to this dude since I was like 9 or 10 (I’m 16 now). His music helped me thru so much and the day he died was one of the hardest days I ever had, not just because of his passing but because of surrounding life situations. But this man definitely lifted my head up high when I really needed it.
i was listening to him when K.I.D.S came out 2010 10th grade every project and album delivered a piece of himself to hip hop and hip hop culture he was mastering the craft and nearly hit his pinnacle with this last project.

Listening to Mac music brings me back to when my bestfirend was here. She passed last month over an apparent overdose of Oxycodone. She was only 23 and I wondered why she was so nice to everyone , she always told me she don't think she'll make it to be old and that when she passes I better make it to her funeral. I kept my promise and I was there , I even got to toss a white dove to the sky. She kept me Above waters and sane until I was better. I spent the day with her after months of not seeing eachother and I heard the next day she was gone 😢. I feel like Mac Miller had the same thing killing him on the inside that she had also. I tatted her on my Arm so she'll be with me until the day I'm done here on Earth also. RIP KARELY AND REST IN PEACE MAC MILLER. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING
Lost my best friend February 2nd 2017 She commited suicide. Same day we were suppose to go get a coffee and talk. Was teaching her how to drive. Like you said, she kept me afloat and sane. Miss her everyday, such a nice person and a great soul. Malcoms music helped me so much after she was gone, hard to believe how much impact he had on my life. His music kept me sane. I lost one of my best friends to an alcohol + oxy od a little over 2 years ago, less than a week after his 22nd birthday. He’s tatted on my leg. Weird how similar our situations are. It’s sad :( he was a 1 in a million kind of dude who loved everyone and everyone loved. He had a truly eclectic music taste, but Mac was a favorite of his for sure. I remember listening to mac with him throughout high school. Taken too soon. Gone but never forgotten ❤️

His music is calming to me. It’s relaxing. Idk how to explain it other than just that. And as a mom of 3 crazy little ones, it’s like it grounds me when I’m overwhelmed.
Every single evening. When I’m overstimulated from the day. I blast mac while I cook dinner. And it’s like a weight has been lifted every single time. ❤️

I was never a hardcore Mac fan before his passing. But at the time of his passing I was going through a very hard breakup in my life and I was in a dark place. I listened to swimming whenever I heard the news. And I loved that album. Songs like Dunno, and 2009, and self care helped get me out of a very dark place. After that I listened to the rest of his discography, and I hate I’m late, but I’m glad I’m able to call myself a Mac fan. Hope your resting easy Mac !!

The day Swimming came out i was so sure it was the best album i had ever heard in my life, the whole album made me feel a type of way, every single song touched my soul in a way no other album ever has, Circles has me feeling extremely nostalgic, it’s really making me feel his passing all over again, i still remember what i was doing and where i was at the moment i saw the news, fu***** broke my heart seeing the news and i just couldn’t wrap my head around it, had me shedding tears at work uncontrollably & at that moment i knew we had lost one of the greatest artists of our decade. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to truly get passed his passing, my heart just won’t allow me to ever forget him or his music, thank you Mac for being the voice i needed at my toughest times, even though you were going through rough times of your own, you made us your priority by delivering these beautiful almbums to us, may you rest in peace, Most Dope Forever.

Hilda Soriano I attempted twice. The first was with Clarity on repeat- trying to go serenely. I aborted, thinking of my family. The second was with Fight the Feeling on repeat, when I was in a really dark place. If I had been found 5 minutes later, I would have died en route to the hospital. Mac was looking over me both times; I know he was saying we’ll meet some day, it’s just not my time yet.

And he had so much more to grow.
