Are you using Miui?
Turn off the battery optimization for the Displaylink presenter app (you could see it in the application details or app manager), and lock it in the recents also
If you could watch some of my previous game streams, you could see that there is no freeze in the game,

You have a flagship killer device last year, so that should be working fine, since I am using only the Mi9T (in the video), but you have the pro variant

hola bro mira esta buena tu idea te felcito me ayudaste pero te dare una ayuda, si usas un acble otg que tenga entrada 2doble usb puede hacer lo mismo mandar informacion a tu obs pero le agraias en el extra del otg un adaptador mix pro o umidgy q1 que son para conectar teclado y mouse y puedes hacer lo mismo jugando con teclado y mouse en tu celular y haciendo stream mas agusto sin sostener el celelular y teniendo mas ventaja al jugar aun

Does this work in a car on a Double Din head unit with AV input where you can install OBS and dont have android auto native to the headunit

Yes it will work with Mi 6,
But if you notice that your battery is draining fast, please do use a usb hub with external power support,
My battery in Mi9T drains fast when I'm using wavlink , but in my Mi10T it is not eating my battery,
If you're using MHL, no device is needed to power except the capture card,
But if you're using the wavlink you need to power the wavlink adapter,

Actually, the wavlink adapter is intended to be used in PC, to support multiple displays, but it just happens that it works with Android phone also and the DisplayLink provide supports, .
For the capture card, it is used to capture the output from the Wavlink Adapter, it is used only if you wanted to capture the output into your pc ,
Scrcpy is the cheaper solution, sndcpy is not working now as far as I remember from the last time tried that method,
