    Thank you for your video on Generator Boxes Inc. Just received ours for our Westinghouse 4500DF. Fits like a glove.
    We had 2 champion 2000 portable units that I had to take of a rear rack of our 5th wheel every time I wanted connect them together.
    The only time I will need to touch the generator is to add gas.
    Thanks
    Bob T

    Is it loud inside the trailer? I would think the vibration would transfer to the trailer while running.

      It wasn’t that bad. Not any worse than others I’ve had.

    Hi. Where did you buy the exhaust extension and how much? I can't find it on amazon. Thank you.

    • @ramblingonrv2252
      @ramblingonrv2252  3 года назад

      Hello: I will look for you and get back to you, however the most expensive part was the carbon fiber exhaust tube. The actual brass extension was not that expensive. I think all in it was about $100 but 90% of that was the tube. Thank you for watching our videos and I will respond with more information as soon as I can look it up.

    That’s a good design but I’m curious about how much weight you have hanging there. I want something similar to that so I can run my duel fuel champion back there instead of under my bed in the front

      Hi Nathan: with box and my two champion inverters, and it comes in at about 200 pounds. The bumper is rated at 200 pounds of weight, and they did weld some bracing but I do not believe it’s welded to the frame at all. I have had no sagging, I know I have been using it for over a year. All seems to be doing well. I don’t put anything back there other than the two inverters.

      Great design, instead of making removable access doors I would have tacked small hinges so they can be propped open at the bottom to keep the inside drier during rain storms

    How did you mount it?

    • @ramblingonrv2252
      @ramblingonrv2252  2 года назад

      Hi Dave: they mounted it to the frame with bolts. They also threw bolted on the bumper. It’s solid as a rock

    Great review. Question, did you have to reinforced the rear bumper?

    • @ramblingonrv2252
      @ramblingonrv2252  3 года назад +1

      The bumper is rated to hold 200 pounds. The box and two inverters weigh about 150 pounds. So no we did not reinforce it at all. Thank you for watching we appreciate your comment.

      Heads up... Just 1 Champion weighs in at 75(pull start) to 110lb(electric start)... Just be cautious.. 👍

      @@Foxboss9 That’s really good to know that the electric start weighs that much more. I didn’t even think about the possible difference in weight. I truly appreciate your comment and I know everyone on the channel will too. Thank you.

    Hello there, I am putting together a box for my Champion 3100. I looked up the exhaust link that you posted, however I only see the flange and the silicone tube I would like to find the quick connect. Can you provide that info?
