There are only about 20 of them to keep secrecy, even though the regular Terminator Bodyguards are very popular and well known. The Terminator might be able to take down a medium-sized warship in about an hour or so if they know the layout, a BlackGuard can do it in seconds due to not only having the best training and equipment available in the Empire, but they also have access to personal teleportation equipment, which is like the standard ship-mounted Terminator deployment systems in 40K, but it’s built into the armour, allowing them to teleport across the galaxy if needed. This can result in singular BlackGuard being able to take down entire fleets single-handedly by simply executing the highest ranking officers on each ship and sneaking high explosives into their cores, detonating the entire ship, and leaving no place in the Galaxy safe from the BlackGuard. There have also been no BlackGuard casualties so far, and no BlackGuard has ever defected from the HonourBound Legion
I guess? I mean, the universe that includes my faction in it has absolutely ludicrous weapons, ships, and characters already, and transforming warships wasn’t as ludicrous as what they have, so may as well make super soldiers to the power of 10?
