    Something different is the wildflower season in the mid west, late August. Karara Rangelands.

      We LOVED it in there. So peaceful, and camping under those enormous Karri trees was amazing. Can't wait to get back there some day!

    Awesome ep guys - all epic spots! 👌 You're so right about D'Entrecasteaux, it really has it all. I've done a few trips down there now and reckon there's still a heap I haven't seen. Kennedy still on my list, maybe 2024 is the year 🙂

      Thanks guys! Yeah D’Entrecasteaux was even better than we expected - we’ll definitely be going back next time we are in WA.
      You’ll love the Kennedy Ranges - those cliffs are 👌🏻👌🏻

    Keep it going you guys love yor travels those place you mentioned are fantastic the Kennedy rangers are like a wounder of the world Majestic place one question how comfortable and waterproof is the rooftop tent we are in our sixties quite agile obviously if you had alot of rain coming would you book a motel 😂😂😂 safe travels guys 😂😂

      Thanks guys, thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it 😀. The Kennedy Ranges is definitely a special place - stoked we could get there.
      Rooftop tent wise, the Bush Company is AWESOME. It’s very comfortable, and watertight (we have had it in some serious downpours). So if we knew there was a lot of bad weather coming, we would usually just stick it out in the tent and wouldn’t book a motel because we were worried about the tent or anything. We would however, consider it from the perspective of maybe wanting a break from the weather in general if it was ongoing. I.e. with our setup, we have the awning and tent to escape the weather, but after a week of solid rain I think rooftop tent camping starts to get a bit unpleasant no matter which tent you have. Either that, or if we know we can drive a few hours to escape the weather, we often do that too. 😀

    Wow, really amazing spots and fantastic filming! Recently found your channel and currently looking through your material and really like i a lot!.
    From Sweden but have visited Australia 5 times and been driving a lot around the whole country before. Currently planning my next trip and will buy a 4x4 this time and that will take me to many new places so saving all these spots on Google Maps for my next trip🙂looking at the number of places I have marked so far it will be a very looong trip!!

      Glad you're enjoying it, thank you for watching! That's awesome, I bet you can't wait! Doing it in a 4x4 will completely change your trip and allow you to get to some spots that less people see. :)

    Hey Guys..re KR ok towing with a full high-clearance camper??

    • @BorderlandExplorers
      @BorderlandExplorers  29 дней назад

      Hey - we obviously didn't tow and didn't see anyone towing whilst we were there so can't speak from direct experience but I think if you had a fully equipped off-road camper it would be doable. It would probably depend on the time of year you went as well. The first section of the track (western side) has the Gascoyne River crossing which can be very challenging when the water levels are high. When we did it it was completely dry and not too difficult but was still pretty soft sand. The rest of the track contains some steep rocky sections as well. The Eastern Side of the range is super easily accessible and we saw plenty of people towing on that side. Kennedy Ranges is absolutely amazing, if you can get there we highly recommend it :)

    WA is the abbreviation for Washington state here in the United States. So that's a very confusing abbreviation for us Americans. Lol

      😂😂 sorry for the confusion! You were probably wondering where the heck we saw a pink lake in Washington looking at the thumbnail picture!

      @@BorderlandExplorers yeah, I was super confused not to mention all the plants were not native looking, so I was trying to figure out where in Washington it was! Lol
