Chris said it best. We love these guys because we grew up with them. They were a part of our lives when our brains were still growing. Seing them now that we're all adults seems very healing and nurturing of our inner children. Thanks ya'll, honestly.

They were totally right about childhood memories/people resonating harder with us than most other decades.
I'm 31 but I still remember most of the names of my elementary school teachers, and the birthdays and phone numbers of some kids in my class who I haven't seen in 20 years.
I mean, that's why these guys will be immortalized in our hearts for years to come 😊
I don’t remember their numbers but I remember certain classmates, like the famous ones lol. I went to elementary and jr high with the Angels baseball player Michael Lorenzen
@@AsAfterlifesame like someone would have to get out the yearbook and start showing me people and then maybe I'll get like little Snippets of things(memories) but a lot of it is a blur. Also didn't really keep in touch with classmates or teachers plus I had severe social anxiety so it's different.

It makes no sense. Can’t mention the whole point of the podcast. If they had a problem with Nickelodeon then they should’ve named it something else instead of using the Ned’s Name to get notoriety.
They were trying to be in solidarity with all the strikes going on. But when they were talking about only seeing certain actors as their most known character they said the names of several shows including theirs 😂
Chris as a dad is so satisfying for my childhood self, we all knew Michael was the MVP

The you were my childhood thing, for me personally, stems from a difficult home life where these shows and actors were my escape. That's why we have you in high regard regardless of how close in age we are.

It’s so hard for me to watch Zoey 101 because I found out how Jamie Lynn Spears and most of the cast bullied Alexa Nikolas and Dan Schneider did nothing to help her and Jamie Lynn Spears lied to Britney Spears about Alexa Nikolas and made her yell at her and threaten to ruin her career.
This has made me so happy! ❤ I'm glad you're all genuinely doing well, big hugs from Michigan!!!!

Damnnnn I loveeeeed this episode ❤ you all have filled a part of my life in a very dark time and remind me that their are some beautiful, high vibrational, loving and elevated humans waiting for my friendship on the other side of this. Your souls and the shared conversations among you 3 and others have been pivotal in reminding me on why life is worth it and how the trials and tribulations are apart of every ones experience with adulthood. No one is doing it like this, this podcast is top top tier. Very proud of Chris, I am happy to hear he's doing well and thriving with that loving energy and loving through life by honouring the power of connection. His kids had my heart, so amazing to see they're radiating excitement.

The crossover we needed
Love how different zoey 101 and Ned’s were different from other kids shows. Zoey 101 was a teen drama for kids and Ned’s was a live action cartoon 90s/2000s nick unmatched they took great risks. Wish the kids were treated better tho
I feel like a crossover between those two shows could’ve been awesome.
I love how Lindsay has slowly indoctrinated Devon in her free the feet campaign 😂😂😂 No hate its just funny to see the evolution from protecting his toesies to just flexing them out today lol

I resonate so much with Chris. I’m the everyone fan and hate to lose contact with ANYONE I’ve ever cared about.
If I remember correctly, neither Ned nor Zoey 101 had laugh tracks, which made them more unique imo. They were also some of my favorite shows and still hold their own comedic value as adults.

To be fair the title is a bit missleading, given the controversies regarding the show Zoey 101. Now of course i understand that because of the situation, you can't or won't talk about everything with everyone on your podcast. But especially in these days, i wouldn't mind a podcast episode that talks bout some of the things that weren't that great back then in terms of production, or adressing certain things. However i really enjoyed the espiode and i m looking forward for the next one.

You already know I can’t miss an EP
Wow interesting to see Chris Massey (haven’t watched the whole thing yet so this might be mentioned but he is the brother of Kyle Massey from That’s So Raven). Another interesting coincidence you might not know- and I think this is just by chance and they didn’t meet through this connection- but Chris Massey has a child with a woman named Cassalei Jackson. Cassalei is the daughter of actress Shar Jackson from Moesha, who is actually more famous for being the ex of Kevin Federline, Britney Spears ex husband and the father of her two sons. Shar was pregnant with her second child with Kevin when he got with Britney. So it comes full circle in that Chris Massey was on Zoey 101 with Jamie Lynn Spears, Britney’s sister. Though Chris and Cassalei probably met in an unrelated way years later, I always thought that was a really funny coincidence.
Shows i remember most from my childhood I have often decided to rewatch, and in those rewatched I learn so much that I couldn’t grasp as a child. It’s a double whammy, Ned’s was an important part of my structure as a young teen, and I never ever realized it! Avatar the last air bender..there are many more I can list. Zoey 101 stuck me with girly/fashion/California coast vibes, but watching it again did not have the same feel as watching the other two I mentioned! Love that you had Chris Massey on, zoey 101 was my favorite as well back in the day!

So, unrelated but slightly related tangent to what Chris was saying about his daughter being star-struck, from the perspective of the fan...
I went to my very first convention last year... the literal deciding factor of which was literally _one single actor_ who played my favorite character ever (It was Power Morphicon)... who was announced just a few short *_Months_* before the con THAT YEAR... but I got everything set up *SPECIFICALLY* so I could meet the actor... yet, turns out, I booked the wrong hotel...
So the first day of the con, I'm dressed up in a cosplay of my favorite actor's character, after I took my lyft... and I'm a literal ball of nerves cause... it's my first ever con on my own, this is my favorite series... like... I am inwardly fangirling trying to tell myself to keep my cool and all that jazz cause I didn't wanna look like a weirdo... and I'm trying to break the ice with some people, mentioning I booked the wrong hotel, just to strike up a conversation... just to be normal cause I'm the weird type that wants attention.... but doesn't want *attention* if you get my meaning...
Anyway, I'm in the lobby of the hotel next to the convention... one of the actors from the series my favorite actor was in comes by with my favorite actor and I'm like... inwardly screaming and trying to keep my head down, texting my mom and all that cause she's the supportive but clueless type of person I can get my nerves out of, then get annoyed when she gets it wrong...
Anyway, my favorite actor goes into another room, and the other actor is talking with someone else, so I somehow get the guts to step into their conversation, mentioning the near two hour lyft cause of my hotel blunder... and they're like, "Who you're here for...?" And I motion to my cosplay and he's like 'He's in the other room, I can call him over for a picture' and I'm like, 'No, no, you don't have to' all the while inwardly screaming cause like... how am I *supposed* to react to that?! Either way, he calls over my favorite actor, I shake his hand, tell him my name, we get a picture, which I still have, by the way... and I was like... I had a kick in my step the ENTIRE con thanks to that...
I met him again earlier this year for like, a one day festival in Californa... and like... I was still, heart pounding all that jazz... and there were others from the series as a whole there, like... they were just regular people, but I still felt that... like... star-struckness... cause, ya know, they're from my *_Favorite show_* , regular people or not, it's like... there's regular people, then there's the people whose characters I literally write fanfictions about.
