Definitely there were so many fascinating bits but the AI talk was so fascinating. AI does scare me and I’m glad y’all acknowledged how it could affect the future cos sometimes it feels like no one is really phased by AI! And that alone scares me 👁️👄👁️
@@pleaseshutup7053Exactly. They were able to keep their sanity by removing themselves from the industry early on before it destroyed them completely. It seems to be the case for more Nickelodeon actors compared to Disney.
To be frank, even they have had their ups and downs. It just wasn't broadcasted in front of everyone. Most child actors are met with some form of trauma due to being so young in the public eye.
Is it odd that I NEVER thought “Huge Crew” referred to weight and just sorta took it to mean “tough” and whatnot? In retrospect, I guess that doesn’t make the most sense, but my childhood mind just never went to “fat”. To hear it caused so much strife is legit surprising.
Same. I always thought it was because they were super tough and could beat you up. But being a teen girl and going in for a role that suddenly turns into being called the huge crew...especially when you struggle with image issues I can see how that could mess someone up. Such a shame to hear how much it affected her
It’s such a misunderstood diagnosis. Growing up it just meant I couldn’t focus and sit still. If only teachers understood it back then. I’m almost 30 and FINALLY dealing with my adhd/bipolar. And I wasn’t even diagnosed bipolar until I was 19. My childhood was a throwaway of time. Feels like I’m just now starting life.
One thing I find really cool about this podcast is finding out how much of their own personality they brought to their roles on the show. It's super cool catching up with everyone years later. Ned's Declassified was a personal favorite show of mine when I was in Middle School and I really appreciate that I can also relate to everyone now as adults, too.
Jennifer has to come back on the pod again! I love how open, honest, & real she was and besides the general vibing amongst the 4, I loved seeing Lindsey & her vibe! Loved her energy, this was a 10/10 ep
This is the best episode of the podcast so far. Jennifer was such an unexpected & awesome guest. Lots of great advice & commentary that's actually helpful that goes beyond simply talking about the show. You guys are really coming into your own with this show. I'm so happy you guys enjoy doing this as much I enjoy watching/listening.
As this was a kid's show...I just wanna say to Jennifer that whenever I heard the "huge crew" term, I never thought about weight. I just didn't even care about it. I associated huge with being tough and a crew of 3 girls. Kids don't really read into that stuff so "huge crew" actually sounded badass to me personally.
This episode and the one with Michelle have been by far my favorite ones. Hearing how they went from acting to normal jobs and whatnot, it's really cool to see their insights and their reasons to just drop it, and I'm glad to see them happy and thriving.
“How I dress is an apology to my younger self” hit hard 💯 being bullied is horrible when it happens but if you use it correctly, it can really build you up
As someone who struggles with an eating disorder, it's nice to hear Jennifer talk openly about the topic. Eating disorders are death in plain sight because by not maintaining balanced eating habits, we put more strain on our hearts to work and pump blood without fuel (food), which is detrimental over time. Take care of yourself everyone and thank you for sharing your experience Jennifer! ❤
I was happy I didn't experience it growing up but it shocked me as a teen hearing how much celebs I grew up seeing had Eating disorders and it made me conscious enough to notice if i was feeling self conscious about my body as a teen and properly address it
The insight to the mental differences between boys and girls is wild. I never went to "Huge Crew" being a weight thing. I figured it was a reference to their huge crushes on Ned.
It's interesting to get the female perspective on the "huge crew" term. As a guy, I just put it to mean they were big (as in hight), scary, mean, and strong. I never even considered it was weight related. Sorry, you had to go through that.
I forgot about the huge crew things but as a female my mind automatically goes to weight because that is what society focus on with females we can't be to big or too skinny we just have to be perfect
I love that you guys provide the other cast members with such a cathartic experience to share their stories. They always say how nervous they were preparing what to say on the pod, but you guys always manage to melt away the nerves and leave them feeling supported and heard. Truly great friends and truly great messages from you and all the pod guests
The fact that they are so good with letting others shine from the show and we are able to hear everyones stories is a pinnacle factor of why this Podcast is too successful! Wednesdays are my favorite!
Jennifer is gorgeous. I always liked her. It is such a shame to hear how being called the huge crew negatively affected her. I've always struggled with body image so it hits very close to home. But it's interesting because I never thought of the huge crew in that way. I thought of them as being so tough that they could beat me up. I still struggle with body image because I've been told I'm too fat or I'm not pretty like the other girls. And it just grows and feeds in your mind. I'm so glad she is doing better and a freaking lawyer! That is awesome! I love the pod because I always feel like it is a healing time for everyone. I'm glad she told her story and is kicking butt. I wish her the best. She always made me laugh in her scenes on Ned
I never knew how hard she struggled. I remember when I watched Ned's when I was younger, I had more of a crush on Doris wondering why Ned wasn't trying for her. Expecting the 3rd season he'd finally give her a legit chance like Cookie did the turn around with Lisa Zemo. And I remember wondering why her gang was the huge crew when they weren't even that big in my opinion.
id like to think it was just a repeated nod of how girls are sm bigger than many boys at that age since our growth spurts hit us so early. but still, from what i remember there was only one taller girl in that group 😭
in latinoamerica I think they were called "chicas rudas" so as a kid I always thought "huge" referred to like their personality, like tough, tall, etc.
I always had a crush on Jennifer on Neds and realizing how that role lead her to an eating disorder is so horrible. But she was beautiful then and she's beautiful now and I'm so happy she's loving herself now ❤
I think it's extremely interesting that the Huge Crew wasn't even called the Huge Crew in the German version. I only found out their original English name as an adult. They were literally called the Horror Gang which makes much more sense in my opinion.
I just got done with ptsd therapy almost a year ago. It was the scariest most freeing thing I ever did for myself. So I’m proud of Jennifer for healing her brain and taking the time for it!!! You truly deserve so much good in your life girl
exactly how jen describing growing up with adhd is just so so so on point and its just so comforting to me that there are other people who felt that same way. I wasn't just looked at differently by peers but teachers as well. I had really bad experiences. It took me years to grasp what I went through and I honestly think those experiences are something you think about forever.
I totally relate to jennifer. The early to mid-2000s were literal HELL on young women when it came to body image. Regular-sized, healthy sized, or even THIN girls were always tortured for being "fat" because they weren't skeletal.
I can’t emphasize enough how incredible this podcast is. The guests. The conversations. I am DEVASTATED I can’t make the first live show. PLEASE come to NYC and I will be there immediately! 😂😂😂
When I was a kid watching the show, when I heard "huge crew", I thought because they were the bullies, the bullies named themselves that to mean like, "important", or a "watch out for us, we're bigger and more important than you so we can do whatever we want" kind of deal as a way to intimidate others. So hearing this perspective is so much more heartbreaking.
what i love about all these podcasts is that you really listen to each other and comment on opinions respectfully, the timing is also top tier! love your relationship
52:40 as a fellow ADHD lawyer, I literally cheered at this tip. 🎉Jennifer, I’m so glad you didn’t let the ableist doubters talk you out of law school. We’re lucky to have you in the profession
The thing I love about this podcast and reason I keep coming back to watch and listen to the episodes is because this is most definitely a safe place to talk about the demons that people have dealt with in the past and are still dealing with! People need to see that it’s ok to acknowledge that we have our struggles but it’s how we react and respond to them is what matters as well!! Thank you Lindsey, Daniel and Devon for all you do!!
I'm so sad to hear how much Jennifer struggled for so long. She's a great actor, and seems like a beautiful person. I'm so glad that she can now see her own beauty, inside and out.
This episode is going to be great!! Hope to see the other members of the huge crew and looking forward to the live episode. Also Jennifer is beyond gorgeous so it’s great seeing her. I haven’t seen her since Ned’s
One of the best episodes hands down. we need more of her and legal advice lol the growth and transparency that has cultivated in the latest episodes is so great to see, especially from people we may have seen as children who we thought were excluded from the troubles of life because they were actors, just to find out they been through it as well and need to share it and let it all out like all of us at times. props.
You guys are like my weekly Therapy Sometimes... It's insane how Close to home You guys can Hit some Hard topics and Help a lot of people around Our Generation ( I'm 27 ) And It just Feels Like You genuinely Understand how Everyone feels and I've been a long time fan And Appreciate How much You guys can Just Bring A Natural Touch on Life. Once I listen to You guys it's like You Talk to everyone Personally On an Amazing Level and What I'm Trying to say Lol Is, Thank You!
Nothing makes me more happy seeing the cast living fantastic lives finding success, love, and purpose. After the memories you all gave us, you deserve all the best.
One thing that always made me laugh about Ned's character in the show is that for him to be considered a lame person (#42 on the popularity list), he had a lot of girls attracted to him. Moze, Susie Crabgrass, 3-in-1 with the Huge Crew, and the MOST POPULAR GIRL IN THE SCHOOL Missy Meany was obsessed with Ned 😂. For a guy with that much pull with the ladies, Ned could have easily been very popular if he wanted to be.
35:01 I needed this. Thank you. 😢 I need this. Its harder to leave for me because i was coerced into getting MARRIED to the person. But I moved out, left everything behind, I'm only 27. I just needed to hear that. It sucks but I can't make excuses for him anymore. Ontop of me being sober for 7 years (in July) & him not being ready to get sober. I can't continue holding on anymore. I need to get on with my life even though that may sound so selfish.
Your guys podcast is the most real podcast out there and I wish it got more recognition. There’s so many garbage mainstream podcasts that have no substance, real conversations, or advice on life but THIS is GOLD🫶🏼so meaningful and raw. Love you guys!
im literally crying "I dont want to tell you my method bc thats how i learned to do it" THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! had i not seen it on tv shows when i was younger i would have never known what to do so thank you for not sharing
One of the characters I wanted to see on the podcast glad they had this conversation.. I remember seeing Huge crew and the implications especially in, middle school, man so glad she got out
Jennifer brought the real, for real. Kudos to her for opening up and finding her way to healing from past struggles... She looking goodt too. The streak of Ned's alumni who are holding up _very well_ continues.
You guys are ten years older than me but I loved to watch Ned’s declassified in elementary school. This pod cast makes me feel so happy. I feel like it helping me in my early 20’s I feel like being 23. I feel like I’m getting over the hump of my growing pains from 19-22.
She is so beautiful, I had a crush on her character back in the day lol. I always thought that they were the huge crew because most of the girls on the show were taller and bigger than the guys. Also big and bad was the vibe i got.
god, you guys are SO REAL. this is my kind of content. thanks so much, love you guys and so happy to see you in front of the camera together for a new podcast episode again!
So happy to have someone talk about: 1) the availability of law school to people who didn’t focus on it, and 2) how horrible the process and the practice can be.
On the rewatch, hearing "huge crew" again really got me to turn my head - although as a kid I don't think I ever really thought about it like that, I think I understood it as a buff thing
Dude i didn’t think i would like this podcast, i mean i watched the show but i just didn’t know what to expect but i absolutely love it. They all give off great vibes and the positivity from every episode I’ve watched is awesome. Love what you guys are doing keep!
43:00 Most important is when you have haters is always ignore them, or see them as support! Because they will try everything to stop your success! I m glad to see Jennifer Tedmori back! #powerwoman
WOW! What a light and amazing is Jennifer, I truly enjoyed everything she had to say. Shes an inspiration for all of us out there trying to figure our shit out. The guests just keep getting better and better!!
wow, I didn't think for a second the huge crew was reffering to that. As Jennifer said I thought it was in reference to the amount of members in the crew. I had no idea and it never clicked. I love this Podcast and how everyone is open to share their experinces behind the scenes and the challenges it had on your career and balancing out personal matters while doing so.
What an amazing episode!!!!!! I’m obsessed with Jennifer! Her hot takes, her truths, her confidence, her grace, her tea (lol) - truly iconic. Daniel, thanks for inviting her on & Lindsey and Devon, I love you all as always ❤
I love how real and raw you guys are. Overall I glad you guys did this instead of a rebooted. This is way more relatable then seeing you guys on a TV show again. I grew up watching the show and loved it because it was different than the other Nick shows. It just felt more real and relatable compared to the others. Icarly reboot is crap all of the reboots are; like yeah its nice to watch and see the stars I watch growing up older and coming back to an environment that stood out so much to me growing up. Overall, these shows will never hit like it did for me when I was in middle and even high school. Its all about the time and what I was going through during it. Devon, everything happens for a reason what you guys are doing now even if yall may get some hate from it because some people suck; this is so much better than a reboot and you guys have most control of everything give it some time you will see its better doing this than being a actor on TV at this time. If there is ever a time yall get a reboot I will watch it though. You guys have my full support. Love yall and never give up.
was at work listening to the podcast, the moment i heard who the guest was. i had to contain my excitement! ❤ i look forward to every wednesday to listen to a new podcast 🥰
Jennifer was the reason why i love mean girls. She was always my crush on neds besides lisa...im glad she was able to get help with her disorder and im glad she's healthy and as beautiful as ever. As a 30 year old i still love watching the show and the now the podcast seeing everyone grown and still the same!
Amo los episodios como este donde hablan de temas tan personales, aprendo y me identifico , me gusta saber que todos estamos lidiando con muchas cosas buenas y malas😮
What was your favorite part of this episode???
When u said u would slap a 12 yrs old😂
I enjoy Jennifer's legal tip. And may I say, she is attractive and can't imagine her not being attractive enough for a lead role.
Just seeing my crush on the show again.

i loved your long cowboy hair it looked so good man
dude the Ned’s cast all have just aged so gracefully! like everytime a guest comes on i’m like “was this set just full of gorgeous humans?”
Most of them got out the industry after Ned’s that’s why lol

Mad respect to Jennifer for being so open about her struggles. I also have ADHD & it was rather difficult growing up as well.
ADHD is a mfer I think it makes alot of us susceptible to drugs use especially if you don't take medication
If she was taking what I'm thinking I'm surprised her heart didn't explode taking that much.

Agreed!
Wild she was bullied and her big break was being a bully what a mental gymnastic for a child
Right 😭
Most bullies were bullied by someone else first

I watched this tv show in Spanish and I also always understood that it was because they are tough and tall (next to ned)😂😂😂
Cocaine vs Speed
Jennifer: Whats the difference?
Ned: Cocaines worse.
Lindsey: No speed is.
Daniel: Cocaine is more respectable.
Bruh🤣🤣🤣
This episode and the one with Michelle have been by far my favorite ones. Hearing how they went from acting to normal jobs and whatnot, it's really cool to see their insights and their reasons to just drop it, and I'm glad to see them happy and thriving.
I relate to her so much. I’m autistic and ADHD. I loved listening to this. I was severely bullied too, and it still affects me to this day
Me too let's all unite!
Yeah this all hit very hard.
“How I dress is an apology to my younger self” hit hard 💯 being bullied is horrible when it happens but if you use it correctly, it can really build you up
This has been without a doubt my favourite guest. Her stories and journey has been fascinating. Hope to have Jennifer on again.
So she was on Neds, worked for an MLB team, became an attorney, and probably more she never mentioned.
That’s just awesome lol
What a BOSS A B

She was fine on the show lol
Puberty is when you develop a crush on the huge crew.

💯
On my case It wasn't a secret
The insight to the mental differences between boys and girls is wild. I never went to "Huge Crew" being a weight thing. I figured it was a reference to their huge crushes on Ned.
Honestly same. Especially since they aren’t even huge. Ok maybe a little plus size but not at all huge.
I thought it was because when they first were shown that they were taller and stronger than Ned
She grew up to be a GORGEOUS adult! Compared to other nickelodeon shows this cast is filled with mentally sane people

It's interesting to get the female perspective on the "huge crew" term.

Jennifer not “being a 10” in Hollywood is so baffling to me. SHE’S ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS AND I’M PROUD OF HER PROGRESS 💖

Your guys podcast is the most real podcast out there and I wish it got more recognition. There’s so many garbage mainstream podcasts that have no substance, real conversations, or advice on life but THIS is GOLD🫶🏼so meaningful and raw. Love you guys!
“I dress as an apology to my younger self.”
Thank you. Really. A lot of us needed to hear this.
im literally crying "I dont want to tell you my method bc thats how i learned to do it" THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! had i not seen it on tv shows when i was younger i would have never known what to do so thank you for not sharing
This was the episode I never knew I NEEDED!
This has got to be one of if not my favourite episode of the pod.
I feel like I’m getting over the hump of my growing pains from 19-22.
these podcasts are so therapeutic and motivating. I should not trust tv stars from my childhood so much you guys are awesome.
Jennifer was part of my lesbian awakening in 2004… aaaand she’s still my type lmao 😂
May not be a lesbian, but I can say something similar with an awakening and type 😂
On the rewatch, hearing "huge crew" again really got me to turn my head - although as a kid I don't think I ever really thought about it like that, I think I understood it as a buff thing
Never realized she was fired I assumed she was a grade older characters like her and Vanessa went to high school
So grateful for Jennifer telling her story. I didn’t realize how similar our past experiences with self love was, sans the child acting career
Love it guys! This is more of declassified guide to life. I think this is very healing for you guys and very healing for us too! Thank you crew!!!
“Are you cereal!?” I truthfully have never shouted so loud at a screen in my life, hit such a core part of my childhood. Love you guys🫶🏼🩷
this podcast is so amazing, i connect with you guys so much. if they ever stop doing these i'm gonna be so devastated.
I love you guys! I love how much you guys have grown and are still so close together!! ❤❤❤
By far the best episode yall have had… so relatable
I appreciate yall tackling the issues that need to be talked about
This is one of my favorite podcast. Everyone is so unique.
wow, I didn't think for a second the huge crew was reffering to that. As Jennifer said I thought it was in reference to the amount of members in the crew. I had no idea and it never clicked. I love this Podcast and how everyone is open to share their experinces behind the scenes and the challenges it had on your career and balancing out personal matters while doing so.
The way you can hear Lindsay and Devin audibly stop breathing at 19:41 it gets SO quiet and Daniel goes Big Brother mode 😂😂
That ad with Daniel talking to himself at the end was actually really funny lol 😂
What an amazing episode!!!!!! I’m obsessed with Jennifer! Her hot takes, her truths, her confidence, her grace, her tea (lol) - truly iconic. Daniel, thanks for inviting her on & Lindsey and Devon, I love you all as always ❤
This is honestly my favorite pod episode. 💕
I love this podcast. We need a Ned’s reboot so bad!!
Loving the deep talks, mixed with the insane chemistry between them. Nostalgia and introspection :)
Y’all are the best this was one of my best series growing up here in latan so Im glad you were part of my childhood
Jennifer was the reason why i love mean girls. She was always my crush on neds besides lisa...im glad she was able to get help with her disorder and im glad she's healthy and as beautiful as ever. As a 30 year old i still love watching the show and the now the podcast seeing everyone grown and still the same!
This was a great video. So appreciate Jennifer for telling their story! 🧡 also what a great dancer!!
Amo los episodios como este donde hablan de temas tan personales, aprendo y me identifico , me gusta saber que todos estamos lidiando con muchas cosas buenas y malas😮
It's nice hearing about all of this and I'll keep an eye out for Jennifer's podcast when it arrives 👍
