    Chad's kids need to be deprogrammed. Wasn't Emma in regular contact with Lori, allowing Lori to advise her with grief and teaching her more about the theology. And Emma paying weekly into Lori's prison account? Lori has replaced Tylee with Emma. That is just WRONG!

    • @tidusjecht9143
      @tidusjecht9143 4 месяца назад +3

      There is no way she can be deprogramned. She's been taught this since she was a baby. They'll just forget about it until they realize she replaced Chad and is now leader of the cult. Her husband needs to take their kids (if they have any and go into hiding before their turn to be murdered comes up. Sadly probably the same with all of the siblings since none of them showed any remorse for their mother.

    What an impressive juror, as they all were. This is the 6th individual/group interview I have seen, and they caught all the little things we thought they might miss, and even things that the prosecution didn't point out directly (e.g. Alex was only there for a short time for JJ, and that grave with boards and stones was dug prior and ready for him - it must have been prepped and filled in by Chad - just like a Sexton would only know to do!). This is how social media should be... healing for us that have followed for 4 1/2 years, and for them. I do hope they vent more to each other as it is healing, and hope the jurors get with Tom and other Lori jurors to guide them through and also guide to counseling (iirc, one said the "eye movement" therapy was great). I do know they bonded, as we all that have followed for years have. Some of them may want to learn more... boy!!! What they don't even know yet, egads. Thanks Justin!

    Out of all the juror interviews I've seen so far from this case, she seems to be the most traumatized. I really hope the court took the feedback from that juror from Lori's case about having a list of therapists available so they don't have to go searching for one if they don't know where to go. I honestly have never thought about how from a jurors point of view, the guilt that they might forever have from recommending the DP to the judge. That must be very very difficult to process and my heart goes out to them. I think these jurors did a wonderful job, I hope if any of my loved ones find themselves in a terrible situation (god forbid), I would hope for a jury like these kind people.

    JP had a guilty client and did the best he possibly could as his attorney to try to sew confusion & doubt. He also gave mitigating circumstances through out the Trial: no traffic tickets, no arrest, a long marriage (until he murdered his wife), a position within his ward (until he was excommunicated), an author (who's wife ran the business), father of 5 (2 of whom were willing to, & did, commit perjury on his behalf). Unfortunately, none of these factors could possibly overcome the fact that he was found Guilty of Murdering 3 people: his mistress' young children & his wife. He's a clear danger to society and is right where he belongs. Hopefully, he'll repent before death.

    • @nadzach
      @nadzach 4 месяца назад +4

      Yes. He did a fine job. At the end, after Daybell declined presenting mitigation, as the judge read the crimes and the heinous factor of how these victims suffered...there was finally a slight sign of recognizing his guilt. He may be accepting the DP at this moment in time. Maybe he knows that it is the right response. But I doubt he has ever done a brave thing in his life. He would not even get a JOB. Does anyone think he will decline to appeal?

    • @franceswatts4001

      That poor girl was killed with hatred. Very cruelty, I’m not sure if was purely hatred or there was some kind of human sacrifice but you just have to think of that and you know Chad and Lori are where there they should be. The last trial I really was invested in was Jodi Arias. and there were some similarities in that it was a brutal murder with connections to Mormonism but this goes beyond any of that. The pair of them will never admit to anything or show any remorse in my opinion. I hope all the jurors who feel they need it get help because it clearly is life changing and there’s still another trial to come

    I understand people want to see remorse but someone who is on trial claiming they are innocent is not going to show remorse and they are instructed by their attorneys not to show emotion. If they show too much emotion, they won't be believed and if they show too little they will also be criticized. The time for a defendant to show remorse is when they plead guilty and have to give a statement in open court not during a trial. Unfortunately, I don't think Chad is capable of remorse because he is narcissistic, a sociopath or psychopath, and maybe just evil.

    I am interested in what this community has to say about CD and his adult children's lack of affect. My understanding is that those in the gallery, the jurors, judge, and witnesses are supposed to suppress outward emotional reactions and responses. CD and certain witnesses for the defense showed little to no emotion. But wasn't that what the court instructs?

    So this juror felt good about playing God? He is a horrible monster. But jurors are not God!!!

      No Jurors are not God, but they must follow the law. The law written by the State of Idaho. They had to follow the jury directions, and they did. They decided based on the law!

      Jurors are NOT God, their job was to follow the Idaho State Law, which they did.
