Chad's kids need to be deprogrammed. Wasn't Emma in regular contact with Lori, allowing Lori to advise her with grief and teaching her more about the theology. And Emma paying weekly into Lori's prison account? Lori has replaced Tylee with Emma. That is just WRONG!
There is no way she can be deprogramned. She's been taught this since she was a baby. They'll just forget about it until they realize she replaced Chad and is now leader of the cult. Her husband needs to take their kids (if they have any and go into hiding before their turn to be murdered comes up. Sadly probably the same with all of the siblings since none of them showed any remorse for their mother.
Great interview, Justin, and I’m so impressed with how this juror has all of the facts. She presents herself so well! Thank you for your service, Juror #12!
Great interview and questions to jurors and prosecution. You kept the case going as well as other reporters. I'm not from AZ, but I have been following the case, and you have done a fantastic job.
Great Comments from Juror #12. Great example of the strength & values of the Boise Area. I have lived in Nampa, Meridian, and Boise for a couple of decades of my adult life, and all of these fine Jurors are VERY much representative of the Community Values & Ethos of the Treasure Valley.
What an impressive juror, as they all were. This is the 6th individual/group interview I have seen, and they caught all the little things we thought they might miss, and even things that the prosecution didn't point out directly (e.g. Alex was only there for a short time for JJ, and that grave with boards and stones was dug prior and ready for him - it must have been prepped and filled in by Chad - just like a Sexton would only know to do!). This is how social media should be... healing for us that have followed for 4 1/2 years, and for them. I do hope they vent more to each other as it is healing, and hope the jurors get with Tom and other Lori jurors to guide them through and also guide to counseling (iirc, one said the "eye movement" therapy was great). I do know they bonded, as we all that have followed for years have. Some of them may want to learn more... boy!!! What they don't even know yet, egads. Thanks Justin!
Out of all the juror interviews I've seen so far from this case, she seems to be the most traumatized. I really hope the court took the feedback from that juror from Lori's case about having a list of therapists available so they don't have to go searching for one if they don't know where to go. I honestly have never thought about how from a jurors point of view, the guilt that they might forever have from recommending the DP to the judge. That must be very very difficult to process and my heart goes out to them. I think these jurors did a wonderful job, I hope if any of my loved ones find themselves in a terrible situation (god forbid), I would hope for a jury like these kind people.
Very true. I know people say Lori may get the death penalty for Charles. Well, why didn't she get it for her kids ? I know, there are rules. B.S. I'm actually surprised there hasn't been reprocussions for not giving her the death penalty. Well hopefully she will receive prison justice *fingers crossed *
@tidusjecht9143 THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH! MY HEART ACHES FOR CHARLES.AND SHE WILL GET HERS.. BUT IF MURDERING YOUR PRECIOUS, INNOCENT CHILDREN LORI'S CHILDREN AND TO ME MURDERING YOUR CHILDRRN IS THE WORST OF THE WORST...THEY SAY THE DP IS RESERVED FOR THE WORST OF HUMANITY..SHE DESERVED THE DP..😡 I just can not wrap my head around a mother murder her kid's! Poor Charles loved lori so much! 😢😢😢 xx hydie
This just shows you, these people really took the DP sentence seriously, and, no matter what Chad did, they are very bothered by having to make that decision, while Chad orchestrated the most heinous crimes committed to four people, and two of them were children. He will never be an upstanding person, like these 18 people were.
Every juror interviewed post trial and death penalty verdict have presented in the same mindset! Each of them are so smart and managed to see Dumbell for who he was/is! They had a horrific challenge in front of them and I don’t think anyone would want that. Thank you juror #12 for your service and courage!!
These jurors are just amazing people. Each and every one of them. They came together as strangers and I'm sure some of them will remain lifelong friends. Thank you for your service juror #12.
JP had a guilty client and did the best he possibly could as his attorney to try to sew confusion & doubt. He also gave mitigating circumstances through out the Trial: no traffic tickets, no arrest, a long marriage (until he murdered his wife), a position within his ward (until he was excommunicated), an author (who's wife ran the business), father of 5 (2 of whom were willing to, & did, commit perjury on his behalf). Unfortunately, none of these factors could possibly overcome the fact that he was found Guilty of Murdering 3 people: his mistress' young children & his wife. He's a clear danger to society and is right where he belongs. Hopefully, he'll repent before death.
Yes. He did a fine job. At the end, after Daybell declined presenting mitigation, as the judge read the crimes and the heinous factor of how these victims suffered...there was finally a slight sign of recognizing his guilt. He may be accepting the DP at this moment in time. Maybe he knows that it is the right response. But I doubt he has ever done a brave thing in his life. He would not even get a JOB. Does anyone think he will decline to appeal?
@@nadzach the Appeal for a DP is automatic - he has no choice. He can decline to cooperate, by doing what he did in this trial: stay mute, remain emotionless.
@vernareed2692 It doesn't seem like that would help Prior's future in Idaho courts. Maybe he plans on writing a book and retiring. But I thought that about Mark Means, and we never heard any more from him.. I guess I'm just a scared cat by nature. Judge Boyce is such a fair guy. I would hate to see any scars on his reputation.
What is so sad is that these jurors have been put through the evidence of this trial and the trauma of making the decisions they did, and now CD begins years of appeals at taxpayers expense. Praying peace for the victims’ families and the jurors.

Going into the trial, Prior had the upper hand because he went to Lori's trial last year. He was able to witness the prosecutions strategy and how the state could present Chad's case. He should have been able to go into Chad's trial better to defend him than he did. Prior had nothing to work with, Chad was guilty.
Oh, a question for alllllllllllll the jurors to perhaps pass and ask. The judge and the attys and LE are not allowed to approach them for feedback as happens in other states. PLEASE reach out to LE to help with the upcoming Charles and Brandon case to give input... it will help as Lori jurors stated feedback to do TIMELINE more for Chad, and it appears that it helped. I know in another state, but this brethren of LE and attys will share for the AZ trial for Charles and Brandon. Thanks.
You seem like such a thoughtful and sensitive woman. Thankyou so much for your service, for being willing to witness for Tylee, JJ and Tammy. They deserved the best jury and they got it. ❤
9:03 If parts of Tylees skull were missing and maybe from a gunshot...well maybe Chad shot her and that was the racoon he said he shot. Coz that was the burn off day too...🤔
That poor girl was killed with hatred. Very cruelty, I’m not sure if was purely hatred or there was some kind of human sacrifice but you just have to think of that and you know Chad and Lori are where there they should be. The last trial I really was invested in was Jodi Arias. and there were some similarities in that it was a brutal murder with connections to Mormonism but this goes beyond any of that. The pair of them will never admit to anything or show any remorse in my opinion. I hope all the jurors who feel they need it get help because it clearly is life changing and there’s still another trial to come

The thing that keeps flashing back to my mind is hearing Tylee in the background of Lori's phone call saying, "Not me, Mom!" when Lori was trying to say Tylee was a zombie. If only Lori & Chad could have felt half the heartbreak we all feel for JJ, Tylee & Tammy. Thank you to all the jurors for seeing the truth & upholding justice. ❤️
I understand people want to see remorse but someone who is on trial claiming they are innocent is not going to show remorse and they are instructed by their attorneys not to show emotion. If they show too much emotion, they won't be believed and if they show too little they will also be criticized. The time for a defendant to show remorse is when they plead guilty and have to give a statement in open court not during a trial. Unfortunately, I don't think Chad is capable of remorse because he is narcissistic, a sociopath or psychopath, and maybe just evil.
So basically if you are on a jury and you are sequestered it's just like being under arrest and incarcerated. Why is treating a jury like this ok ? Are they showing them what the defendant is going through in the hopes of acquittal ?
