I could never allow my mother to be cross-examined or dragged through court when I know I’m guilty. Chad knows he did what he’s accused of. The fact that Chad won’t just confess and is set on causing hell for his family is just so disgusting
no doubt. who in the name of common decency calls a funeral home about your heffer's husband's ashes? cash in insurance and live it up on a beach knowing kids 'alive, not alive, dealing with custody' any of the random lies. no way would i put anyone that has loved me through this additional trauma. being even somewhat associated with someone 'lOWri' and giving his daughter instructions on money moves while kids are being dug up. no.

What did Chad’s mother have to say bout her son calling and asking about funerals for Lori’s husband long before Tammy even died? Has this woman not looked at all the proof? Yes, it would be devastating to think your child, your flesh and blood was capable of not one, not two, but at least 3 cold blooded murders but I would want to see all the proof. Maybe I am just an ornery, stubborn woman but I would want to see all the proof they had against my child. She could be one of those who figure if they don’t think about it, it never happened. Dont forget, mormons are the polygamous religion=multiple wives, whether they claim to practice THAT part of it or not. Yup, and that makes him smart. It’s up to the prosecution to shut that down EVERY time. He specifically does this so he doesn’t have to put Chad on the stand. None of it matters tho- at this point there’s SOOOO much evidence and witnesses against him that he’s toast. I realize the defense still has to put their witnesses on but it won’t help.

He sat by Lori and supported her lie in front of his mother by going along with it. Knowing full well it was a lie and that they’d killed the kids. Shes an enabler and most likely Chad could do no wrong growing up which turned him into an entitled disordered remorseless narcissist.

Chad's parents are not defending him. Sheila testified for the truth. It is horrific to live with the guilt of knowing your words condemned your son to die, yet, Sheila told the truth. You can't stop loving your kids just because they are horrible people. My heart goes to Sheila for loving Chad in spite of his horrible actions & for telling the truth in spite of the consequences 💔🙏

Religious Chad sat at a meal with his parents and allowed Lori to lie about her husband having a heart attack. He met Lori recently, but he has been with his parents his whole life. He betrayed Tammy just like that and so quickly.

I also know a mother who had to testify at her adult son's murder trial. The murders of his 4 victims were as horrific as these murders. She as well as her husband basically disowned their son with their testimony. Afterwards, she said doing that was extremely empowering for both her husband and herself. I hope and pray that Chad's mother will feel the same now that she has testified. I feel the same for all witnesses that the state has called to testify.
I feel sorry for the children her son murdered, not for the woman who raised a monster.

It's still shocking and shameless. My uncle remarried 3 months after his wife died of cancer at age 36. We all realized he had been having an affair before she died and it split the whole family up. His kids hated their father and the new stepmother and it broke their family up. My parents refused to have anything to do with him after this....he hardly ever visited his dying wife who we cared for in our home. The poor lady kept asking "where's my cowardly husband"? She guessed what was going on and she asked my father to take her out to the garage and shoot her to put her out of her misery. We were all bawling and heartbroken for her.

I don’t think Lori would have given Chad a second look if she had not believed his religious nonsense. Apparently she had been getting increasingly zealous for years and was always a sandwich short of the picnic. He told her she was a goddess and that she had a special calling. That her kid’s souls were replaced zombies and she needed to free them by their bodies dying. Lori was not the first he tried this on but the first that went all in on his BS.
Excuse me, nothing Chad has said and done...especially his relationship with Julie Rowe crazy woman, Lori Vallow crazy woman, and many others he "gathered " with were following the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been a life long member. Not saying I'm a perfect person, I've strayed. But Christ never disappointed me, or betrayed me.
Chad and Lori, and their followers, including Melanie B, her niece, made false pretenses to enter the temple. They reported in their group, what we know now, things they did in the temple. Those things are pure sacrilege. They are working what I would say is "secret combinations". Nobody marries dead prophets, nobody chats with Christ in the temple, except it would be a prophet of God, or someone that God or Jesus has a reason that has something to do with their purpose to bring all mankind to choose to follow them. Not to chit chat.
I have been interested in this saga all the way back to when the kids went missing. Most people in Chad's little cult, have been excommunicated from the Church. Usually, it's never broadcast to anyone.
If you are interested in learning what the actual church believes, awesome. But to make disparaging remark as you did, you would have to know something about it, correct?
This is not the LDS religion. They believe in Jesus and the Bible. He sickeningly manipulated, lied, cheated and murdered (all allegedly 🙄) using the name of that church for his cult. The last I read and understood in my scriptures, he broke many of the Ten Commandments. Whether the law or heaven, he’s in big trouble.
Why do they need to say his visions were lunacy? I’m sure the jury can come to that conclusion on their own. It’s like pointing out that the sky is blue- they already can see that.
They did say his visions were crap, why do you think he was excommunicated? He was teaching incorrect principles and calling them fact. He was probably disfellowshipped first and then when he didn’t get his crap together, he was excommunicated.

I have mixed feelings on Chad's mother. Yes, I feel sorry for her in this situation, but how much of role did she, and his immediate family culture play in this, my guess he's always been entitled, and the family dynamics allowed it. Submissive or not, she's part of that family dynamic.

I don’t see how she can be a witness for his defense when she KNOWS Chad and Lori lied about Lori’s children. I would have a hard time believing anything either one of them said after that. That wasn’t a little white lie, that was a major lie.

The defense is saying he's not gregarious. I think they are trying to convince the jurors that he's a soft spoken quiet type that would never lead anyone away from traditional Christian values. But what we have learned is that quiet, soft spoken people can be very manipulative and evil.

The issue here is that prior used the language “quickly”, which is subjective. Marrying after 9 months is quick but that’s the norm for most Mormons. But Chad married Lori TWO WEEKS, and right at the beginning of his mourning phase- if he was actually mourning a Tammy. That’s VERY different.
