Thank you a lot for sharing these memories with us. I can feel through my screen how happy you are to be here. I admit I shed a little tear. Her voice is heavenly. I hope to be able to attend one of her concerts one day! much love
Congrats on seeing the concert. Here's another young Norwegian artist by the name of Angelina Jordan (16 today). All of her 130 covers and three originals began with the performance of a barefoot 7 year old prodigy who auditioned for the 2014 Norway's Got Talent season, and won. This performance began her worldwide exposure, with her singing "Fly Me to the Moon" on The View in the US at age 8, and also sang for the Obama's. Her parents insisted that Angelina should enjoy her childhood, and have turned down 90% of the requests. Between her NGT performance and her audition on America's Got Talent the Champions at age 13, Angelina had helped raise millions of dollars and over 21 million euros for disadvantaged children. Although she's made over 130 covers and 3 originals, the two I recommend starting off with are as follows. - First, watch her black and white studio performance of Screamin' Jay Hawkins' 1956 classic "I Put a Spell on You". Did I mention that this child started singing at 1 1/2 years old, and grew up with jazz and the blues? A couple weeks past her 9th birthday, she performed her own arrangement, directed the band, and exhibited vocal abilities that voice coaches can't account for. - Second, view her AGTC audition with Queen's 1975 hit "Bohemian Rhapsody". Angelina, 13, received a golden buzzer for her performance and a congratulatory tweet from Queen. Here are the links: "I PUT A SPELL ON YOU" - ruclips.net/video/nwFloCPXzCs/видео.html AGTC - "BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY" (includes golden buzzer) - ruclips.net/video/tC1hD7k_WTw/видео.html * You many notice that Angelina Jordan always performs barefooted, whether in front of a live audience or during a studio recording. This has resulted in her being given the title of "the Barefoot Princess" or "the Barfoot Princess of Jazz". The story is that when living in the Middle East, at age 6, she came across an orphaned girl earning money by weighing people in the street with a bathroom scale. She noticed how cold it was and that the 6-7 year old girl was not only barefoot, but had scars on her feet. So 6 year old Angelina took off her own shoes, shoes that she loved, and gave them to the girl. Angelina decided she wouldn't wear shoes in her performances to remind her of all the children in the world who had no parents, proper clothes, or shoes. Hence, you will hear her called the "Barefoot Princess", or the "Barefoot Princess of Jazz". Of the encounter, little 6 year old Angelina wrote in her diary: “The world is very strange. Right then and there I felt as if a door in my heart opened up, and it was filled with lots of lights. It was as if there was, from Earth to Heaven, a staircase. I climbed the stairs. To be able to do something for another human - it was such a big thing…hard to describe really.” In 2015, at 9 years of age, Angelina wrote a book about the encounter, making her the youngest published author in Norway. The book and the attire Angelina wore for her AGTC audition were designed by her grandmother who was a child prodigy in art.
So happy you saw her Julia! I saw you in the line of fans - your smile looked exactly like mine when I met Aurora! Such a high! Looking forward to your vlog!

I was at the show 2 days before this one! My second concert ever and I can't even explain how magical it was... Thanks for showing us your experience!!
I haven't finished watching yet, but it has been so lovely to watch so far. I got goosebumps when she came on stage, and I was singing along like I was there. She really does create a little world with her voice that we can go to when she sings. This is as close as I'm going to get to going to an Aurora concert at this point, thank you for sharing it with us all who couldn't go!!
You are so smart and clever. You are wearing the clothes so you dont have to pack them. I love your style. Sending love. You guys are adorable. Blessings. 11:11
oh my god, there are so many things that are felt throughout this video and there is much that I would like to talk about this experience of yours 🥺🥺✨. I am very happy to see that you were able to meet Aurora and listen Her music live, I already said it before but I still repeat it, you are someone who has inspired me a lot in these last few months and I think you are a wonderful human being 💚💚
This is just fantastic! I have never been to a concert in my life, but this is like being there, so thank you Julia for filming it. I may have been singing along...! It looks like you had the best time! Aurora is incredible live, and maybe, just maybe, I'll get to see her on stage for myself one day...

Awesome! Planning to see my first Aurora Concert in May. Still waiting on the Album I ordered. It got delayed till May. Two things to look forward to in May.
Me too!!! 1st Aurora concert in May that is!!!!!!!!!!!! My youngest daughter (shes 13) first ever concert!! Where are you seeing her in May? We are driving 4 hrs to see her in Michigan. And had I used my head way back when I first became aware of the tour, I would have gotten tickets for Chicago the night before Michigan. I could KICK myself now!

After getting instructions ,i was just about to drive out when my partner shouted out '" ive just seen Aurora getting into the bus" a minute earlier and i would have dared to ask for a selfie. Never mine , seeing her again this coming Sunday.
Hiiii from Spain, too! I feel you so much - I share exactly the same problem ;) But she will come to Valencia (Diversity Festival) in July, so you should definetily check that out, warrior! (Sadly I'm not in Spain at that date so not really good news for me... maybe at least for you, then!)
