The movie, released in NYC in November 1942, has been a fan favorite of mine for many decades. I was 3 in 1942. Have a great life everyone and smile. It won't broke your face.
As a great Italian anchor man Piero Angela and a very talented piano player and passionated of Jazz Music, that played this faboulos song, "When you listen jazz songs for the first time, you surely will choice to ever leaved these and you will always get in your soul a pure and deep passion for this kind of music. First time I've ever heard or seen Ms Springs perform. What a feast for the senses. Need to look into her back catalog. Mr Whalum is already well known to and regarded by me.

Had tickets booked for the show Fri 13th March at the Jazz Standard club in NYC, unfortunately was cancelled due to the current situation, which is understandable, did walk down from Times Sq to the Venue, took a couple of pics outside, spoke to a guy said he was one of the owners, apparently jazz bar is downstairs, would have been amazing to see Kandace perform there, unfortunately as I live in the UK, once the show is rescheduled I wont be able to get back over.
Kandace you know, you have a warm voice, i like your equilibrate way to be in the music with the voice, the right quantity of warps never too much but enough to let your personality come out in the song and make it recognizable at first listening.

What a great performance, such incredible musicians and incredible singer. i've been a fan of Kirk Whalum. The piano player sounded like George Shearing at times.
Hi Kandace, you've such a changeable voice! So many moods and colors. I really love your warm musicality. I personally tried to become a good pianist, but it wasn't my fate. Something always came up during my whole life. As I was a child my parents were completely unmusical and they wouldn't let me do what I wanted to do. Later an addiction kept me from it. But I always found my way. Now I'm an author, actor and speech therapist. And the music, I think you will know it. It's a love story for a lifetime. I will always play, good or bad. I'm so happy that I could experience so many music developments. As I was a boy the Beatles came up. At the same time The Beach Boys. I grew up and even every day there was a new band. And every single band had its specific new sound. And there was Woodstock, there was Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali, there was Vietnam. All together within a short time. Now I'm writing for the most time. Satirical books for people with a good sense of humor. So I live day for day and try to be satisfied. But not so much from me. Sorry. I'm sure, you have a lot of good music in your head. I hope I get to see you live sometime. Peter
