- Toyota GR Supra Manual Driven by YS Khong on one of his favourite routes - Genting Highlands.
The Toyota Supra puts down 382hp and 499Nm of torque from a 3.0L Turbo Inline 6, and drives is to the rear wheels through a 6-speed intelligent Manual Transmission (MT) with rev-matching, but rev-matching was turned off for this drive.
Watch how the GR Supra tackles the corners and we have also included a foot cam - to see the elaborate footwork.

YS, glad you turned off the rev-matching and demonstrated, through the foot cam how it is done. I was watching the foot cam more than the other cameras. I have now seen and leant how a professional driver does it and will practise your technique myself, hopefully to master this skill. Thanks YS.

I have a question uncle. When you do uphill spirit driving like this do you turn off the ac or not?
For consistency we always keep it on. So maybe it loses a couple of horsepower, but we keep the AC on for all, and it is less noisy in the car so you can still hear us
@@YSKhongDriving oh. Thank you uncle for the explanation. My car if doing uphill like this and turn on the ac, it feels heavy no power 😅. And also i dont want any problem with the engine because of the high revs.

I dont have the outside view on this video right? On some of my other videos we have a cam on the front bumper or bonnet, and sometimes on the front fender or on the roof.

It is ys khong rear camera shooting That white auto transmission supra is ys khong fren following ys khong supra from behind.
Its literally another Supra

3.0L straight 6 Supra is a souped up gr86 2.0 flat4 in refinement , comfort luxury , HP ,torque , maintenance cost , price tag , bank balance

Probably the type R oversteer during the corner , 5:06 you could see 3 car is speeding and during 5:14 the first white car is probably type R which facing opposite direction..

I think it happened before we came onto the scene: the road was clear for us.
Need to test again uncle.. the traffic is too heavy, cant see the true performance from this car.

i like the sound of GR supra, for fun term obviously supra win. but, if with this price range i would rather go for Tesla model 3 performance, because model 3 (instant torque) will definitely crush supra with 2.9second 0-60mph and 261 kmph of top speed. Most importantly, car with engine couldn't do too much or too frequent of full pedal acceleration, parts in engine always get loose.Unless you are rich enough to fix it often. correct me if im wrong, i dont know much about car

Here I am today, Tied to the stone with extra 2 wheels LOL. Bought a Viios 2 months back after watching you driving up the hill. Still love speed...Standard suspension ion Vios s rather soft I would say. But Supra is definitely out of my budget but looks great in the video

He was quite fast too, and there was no more hill. We caught up quite late in the climb.
A 400Hp 1,270kg (or lighter trim ) Lotus Evora is no slouch even compared to Supra 388Hp 1,475kg
250kg is equiv. To 3 adult weight already, its like a full house Supra vs Evora
Heck its even probably a souped up Evora , it is no joke trying to overtake it
Evora real match is a 718 GTS 4.0 or GT RS
Spec or not spec , the Supra will have difficult time
