HoverBike thrusters are always active because always a gas comes out from it and when the gas stays touched the ground, no air time happens

So why couldnt the game decide to not throw money at you for just levitating with a levitating vehicle
1st point it doesn't give air time because the gas coming from thruster is touching the ground
2nd point fume boost is working because the gas is touching the ground
3rd point it can't do wheelie like that because the gas is touching ground
4th point the gas coming out of thrusters is powerful so bridge is affected
THIS IS MY OWN THEORY
Many people will think that other vehicle thruster doesn't work like this because it is specifically designed for hover....(i forgot 😅)
I think the reason why the bridge is kinda moving like there's a wheel is because of the thrust. You see, jet engines have thrust because that's the only way they can move. They aren't connected to a wheel, which is same with aircrafts. It has thrusters, which is the same as jet engines. These turbine engines are so powerful at pushing, they can move such heavy aircrafts.

Reborn, the Hoverbike even if it's floating it's still on the ground, otherwise it wouldn't make sense, it's fine as it is now, and there are no hidden wheels, know that
Hover tech has an easy mechanic that a lot of games use. There is a constant force enough to make the vehicle fly but at a certain distance from the ground. It even has its own name which is ''hovering'' and not flying. Force acts similar to two magnets pushing eachother. Try playing other games and try to understand its basics I suggest. The devs probably used the same method as other cars to make it easier to deal with because its a new concept and mechanics to the game. So there is a change you're right but just enjoy the fact that there is a hoverbike in the game now : )

Airtime is air time though, it's just suspended, "hovering" if you will lol
When it gets actual air time it counts and you can make it stay in the ground or constantly wheelie for the entirety of the race etc.
I haven't seen anything about the constant wheelie or airtime (not using a mod/etc.) and don't want it patched honestly.

Also, it's not an invisible wheel, but you can break one or both thrusters of course.
Some of these are simple, but it's not flying and fume boost does work in the air, but you must doesn't push you forward until you're actually accelerating forward and it's not working while the "invisible wheel" is or isn't, it's the same as a hitbox. Just like Mario when you jump and clip the wall or call of duty when you get a headshot a few inches away from the actual head.
The bridge, the front thruster hits it and is forcing it backwards, but it clips the hitbox.

Just because the hoverbike doesn't have airtime ON the ground, it just HOVERS
Fume boost works on Hoverbike because it still hover so it still works when it's hovering

If Hover Bike gets airtime for just hovering, that's unlimited money and just ruins the point of the game. Imagine earning money from Track Editor. Its the same
The reason why we dont get air time bonus is bcos that would make hover bike a money making machine and devs wouldn't want that😏
It is not a wheel but pressurised air put down by the motor, like trains in Japan. If it flies, it is another motor, air can't push on the floor.
Trains in japan are magnetic, not air blown
