My fishing pole collapses to about 8 inches. It's not heavy, but for bluegill, crappie, it's fine. Being on your own property? Priceless! You can improve a trail in, or bring the excavator and deepen it. That many little cats, has to be some big ones! I love catfish, that looked like a great fish fry!
TIP: When hiking with a fishing pole in the over growth Carrie the Pole Backwards, so it follows you As You make the path it's tucked in behind you (I got my family Telescopic Fishing Poles)
That one isn't quite right 👍. I don't know how you kept a straight face, because it had to be pretty sour tasting 🤢. Your adventure dinner looked great 👍. I have a healthy respect and fear for snakes. It's not fun being bitten by a rattler. But when I Copperhead bit me, that was so much worse. When you go to the emergency room when they say, Sir you're going to lose that leg 🦵. I told him I came in with two feet and I'm going to go out with 8 ft. If that's what it takes. He looked at me and I said six feet under but I'll be buried with both feet! Fantastic video write down to where he showed where the sand ⏳ Beach should be. I still have both feet.
ha ha i was going throw my fishing pole in the truck and head down fishing with you but live in Canada 100 miles from Toronto so i think ill stay home, this is awesome video ( i can all most taste the fish )
Howdy Silas, thanks for your nice video. What a shame you didn't catch any fish suitable for cooking. But.... little fish grow, so maybe in not too long, you'll have some nice fish. Unless a bird of prey beats you to it. And that squirrel at 19:00 must have been really hungry.... he looks so skinny. Anyway, I enjoyed your video, and as always look forward to the next one.
That's a great spot to build a little cabin. Only needs to be big enough for a bed and little cooking area. Perfect for an over night escape
Thank you for taking us along on the fishing adventure.
Like it. You have so many different sides and I really enjoyed your pond experience. But SPAM? Try marshmallow, at least it stays on the hook.
I bet those little plums would make some fine jam!
Excellent silas had fun too cheers 🥂 😊
I knew that pond held fish when you first showed it. Nice going, Silas🐟. Tip: Always check your knots after each catch.

Ya need to get a telescoping fishing pole. Would make walking thru the woods much easier
Dear Mr. Silas.
👍👌👏 2) Unfortunately there are no sand plum bushes/trees existing in Germany, sigh.
Best regards, luck and health in particular.
Silas you need a little dune buggy for going to the back forty. A fun day

Fyi , carry your fishing rod behind you. Handle real end out front . then you break the path for it to follow.
👍👌👏 Exactly what I thought instantly too.

I would love to just hang out with you. You seem like a real good person.

Lots of channel cats here in n.w. mn. but usually to damn big or to damn small.
Now I feel like fishing and eating some fish. Should have tried to deep fry the plums yum.
Turn your fishing rod round, walk it butt first. Could have been worse, you might have been stuck eating the bait
