That freight yard is going to be epic to see in operation. All that storage as well. The operating fun to be had is phenomenal. Great work! Clint at Leila Central
Fabulous work looking great 👍🏻 I remember Tinsley yard back in the late 70s and that was chaotic then so well done you guys for even attempting your version of Sheffield 😄 Stevie 😎
David and Team, It would be nice to be shunting Sheffield on a cold winters night. One operator running 2 shunters, who said men can't " multi-task"? You just threw that theory right out the window.Shunting in real time against a speeded up clock has always been a problem. Wagons in groups of 3's might just be the answer. Trains of the 50's &60's this might just give the right assortment of wagons in the train. Well Done. Cheers, Chris Perry.
This is mad its like the 8th wonder of the world! How often does the layout run to full potential Ive got visions of all these enthusiastic operators knocking on this poor chaps front door every weekend....can we play train can we can play trains! Its got to be the only layout in a house in existence in the uk that is like this.....
Do railway modellrs just have a problem when joining flex track and leave sleeper gaps all the time?? It's not 'rocket science' to join flex track such there is no sleeper gaps and it looks a lot dam better all round..!! Experienced modellers who still can't get it right the first time or would you like me to do a video for you..???
Hi PJC, This track was laid for testing purposes only. I can appreciate your point and hope we pass muster when the finished track has been laid in Sheffield. Regards David
