I've never been so happy to see an Eagles season end. I've seen plenty of Philly collapses over 48 years but this was something different. I hope we know what caused the team to quit from December onward. Had to be more than just the Niners.

The Eagles. Do you remember the time that we beat the Cowboys because Reed Blankenship's, I think, foot stopped the receivers from crossing the goal line by millimeters? The Eagles do. You know who didn't throw the ball until week three because they weren't ready? The Eagles. You know who tried to let every single team win every week but they refused, and commentators said dumb shit like "they find ways to win!"? The Eagles. You know who hasn't tackled at high school level the entire year? The Eagles. This was the glorious road to 10-1

The problem with this team is the lack of respect of what they did best the last two years…run the football. The first year Sirianni was here, they struggled until they started running the ball consistently. Last year they ran it consistently too. This year? Nope. That’s the biggest issue offensively and everyone knew it except the coaches. It’s like having a million dollars in the bank and pleading poverty.

Nobody hurts more over the last seven games as Jalen Hurts. He blames himself when actually no one player can win or lose a football game. I'm sure he's devastated. Jalen needs a really good Quarterback Coach. He has not had one. He is talented and has the ability to be a truly great quarterback but he needs help. He also needs protection. Kelce can't be a one man offensive Linemen. I watched Mayfield be protected on almost every throw. Jalen didn't have that and he needs it. He depends on the Coach and he's never been a quarterback. It's a different job and it requires not having to listen to ten different coaches and not know what the heck to do. Don't forget Jalen is only 25 years old. He had good College Coaches but the Pros are a different game entirely. Any team could watch film of our plays and know what Jalen was and actually the entire team was going to do. That, I believe, caused our Collapse after the 49ers. It's not fair to blame this on Jalen Hurts or Smitty. Most of the time it appeared he didn't know where his receivers were. He was too busy trying to keep from being tackled. This is "Coaching Error". In the old days of football, quarterbacks were team leaders and most of the time called their own game. This no longer is the way the game is played. If a team is going to invest millions in a quarterback, they need to invest in a Quarterback Coach. They are not born mind-readers. They have a couple of minutes to know what play is called and have to try to remember what ten different coaches tell them. These last games we fell apart on are strictly on bad coaching. Hurts depended too much on Sirriani and changing OC and DC in the middle of a season is irresponsible and enough to break the spirit of any team. A Quarterback Coach really needs to be someone who has been a Quarterback and can help when a team goes through what the Eagles have been through this year!

I want tape from the install/blitz meetings this past week because there is no way they could be this unprepared. Like hire some of these YT guys that can look over tape, they all knew what was going to happen and were coming up with better schemes than w/e the fuck was being ran all week. Nick needs to go because his schemes are garbage and he was carried by his OC's and DC's to those winning records. Theres no way you can keep someone who doesnt have sight adjusts or hots built into his system. Like is Hurts scared to touch a center's sweaty gootch on anything besides a brotherly shove? Like as much as Nick's playbook is a pile, Hurts does no favours only being able to run out of pistol or gun. Absolutely nothing under center unless it's a shove. Like thats an embarrassing playbook.

Jalen not throwing a block on the Gainwell run before the safety was pathetic and inexcusable. You are a leader of this team and in being so you’re supposed to put it all on the line for your team. Instead he refuses to throw a block. That is what a selfish coward does. They should have benched him right then and there to send a message that if you’re gonna play like a selfish coward then you don’t deserve to wear those wings on your helmet. Total disgrace to this organization and the fans. Time to clean house. Sirianni, Johnson, Desai and Patricia all need to go. Jalen needs to wake up and be better leader on and off the field. Him not throwing that block tells you everything you need to know about him at the moment. Words can’t even describe how disgusting seeing that was. Perfect sum up of the entire season with the lack of effort and drive of this team.

Put Jalen hurts or Devante Smith on the Steelers today and they beat Buffalo today. This Eagles coaching staff is atrocious. Whatever power struggle is going in that locker room divided this team’s chemistry.

I'm not even an Eagles fan but I enjoyed watching Jalen Hurts last season in the postseason and I've always like AJ Brown, and Hassan Reddick as individual talents. What an Epic Meltdown from the coaching staff to front office. Nick Sirianni lost the locker room and the defense evaporated it's hard to believe they were worse than the Dallas Cowboys. Clearly paying Jalen Hurts $50 million has hindered the defensive talent.

I hate to say this, but I believe the Eagles are headed for a rebuild. They have too many older players, especially on defense, who simply can't keep up anymore. And there's not enough young players/draft picks on the team to replenish that. And unless they overhaul the coaching staff, all the good players like AJ Brown and Goedert will eventually want out of Philly if the team continues to underachieve. This reminds me of what happened 5 years ago when we had Carson Wentz.

I’m glad Barkann said it, why keep Swift if you’re not going to use him?? I’ve never seen anything like this in football in my 41 yrs! Dumbfounding play-calling on offense, offensive line falling apart completely (pretty obvious leading into the season after not addressing the depth in the offseason & when you don’t let these guys run block, they’re always on their heels pass blocking), & defensively just the most atrocious product I have ever seen in my life. Emotional coaches never last in the NFL, grown men getting paid millions tune them out quickly, & honestly can you blame them?? Who wants a grown man constantly acting like an overgrown child/cheerleader in your face all the time?? No one! You want a coach who you know is a strategist, who can put you in a position to win every week, again not someone who tries to pump you up, relying solely on your athletic ability. Sirianni, & company, have to go immediately!!

3rd and 2 with all out blitz coming at you and you go empty sets with 4 verticals, not just once but several times… I’m completely mind blown on how anyone could make a case for Sirianni to get another shot next season. This wasn’t just a total collapse, this was a HISTORIC melt down. 25+ seasons of being a die hard Eagles fan, this is by far the most pathetic and brutal team I have ever watched.
I have never wanted an Eagles season to end so badly, not even the 4-12 seasons. When a team straight up tells you they’re gonna expose you, and then does it, tells the entire league how to do it as well, and still have not a single answer or clue on what to do or how to fix it, I’m sorry you lost the team and you gotta go.
Honestly I don’t see how any free agents or draft prospects would wanna come here or play for Sirianni.
