Fun fact: Gin's Bankai, Kamishininoyari, literally translates to "God-killing spear". Perfectly symbolizes Gin's essential nature, how he aspires to take down a godly figure.
The poem that Gin recites is the poem Tite Kubo (the creator) wrote for him in the manga. Metaphorically, Gin is looking into a mirror and putting himself into Rangiku's shoes. If SHE was the one who betrayed the soul society and started to kill innocent people for what seems like pure sadistic devotion and she confessed her love for HIM, would he still be able to say he loves her like he does today. Meaning - Gin realized that even if he had revealed his love for Rangiku, he knows that he isn't worthy enough after all the innocent lives he took and she wouldn't be able to accept a "snake" like him. But he was willing to sacrifice his morals, turn his back on the soul society, and work for the man he wanted to kill the most this entire time to take back the thing Aizen stole from her. This entire time his loyalty has always been to Rangiku and only to her.
Omg this comment is soo underrated... Especially cause a lot of the viewers or readers often doesnt care about that Poem which is the very important detail Tite Kubo wanted to point out in Gin and Rangiku's Story... 😭😭
"Goodbye Rangiku. I'm sorry" -Gin's last words to Rangiku at Sokyoku Hill before being blipped to Hueco Mundo Mans really devoted an entire Century to deceiving and carefully avenging Aizen all for Rangiku. RIP Ichimaru Gin he a real one.
When I hear the legendary ost 'B13A' all I think about is Aizen getting face palmed by Ichigo across the city, that's one of the best moments lol the disrespect. He basically said: "I'm not asking you b*tch, I'm telling you we going somewhere else." I love how unfazed, calm and cool Ichigo is the whole time. Gin's betrayal was one of the craziest plot twists. Crazy how back in soul society arc it was like Gin was the bad guy and Aizen was the good guy. This really made his character goated. Gin and Rangiku would have been the perfect ship. Shout out to Jerry's predictions about Gin. RIP Gin Ichimaru, the Itachi of Bleach. 🐐 🙏🏼
Dude...I made a comment just now about how Gin is the Itachi from Bleach. I've been saying it for years. Makes me SO happy to see other people realizing the similarities and that Gin was quite literally a hero. You're a good fucking man.
Gin is such a underrated character, the only captain who come close to beating and taking down Aizen because of his Zanpakuto and cunning nature. I wish he was still alive and present in TYBW Arc.
Came close yeah but aizen was the one who gave him the chance. He already knew him was going to betray him and attempt to kill but still brought him along
The reason why Bleach has so many shoulder slashes is because in the manga stuff was so violent they had to censor it, like Hiyori got cut in half by Aizen, which is why Shinji's reaction is so over the top.
No it wasn't that violent. The most common ones are reduction of blood, blood from the mouth being changed to spittle, severed arms being turned into shallower wounds, larger wounds being turned into fairly minor burns, & impalements being shown in silhouette or made to look less severe. There was no real gore like guts coming out or eyes being popped out.
@@touchingisjustthefirststep bru what are you talking? go back and read all the arrancar saga, there are guts spilling like every three chapters and let's not talk about the TYBW.
In the flashbacks it was showing Gin's childhood. Him and Rangiku lived in the Rukongai which is basically like the Soul Society version of the hood. Alot of poverty and crime. Nobody really cares about them. Gin and Rangiku met when they were kids and became very close, even living together. When prepping the Hogyoku Aizen killed and sacrificed hundreds of Rukongai residents to it. Gin caught Aizen and spied on him one day, realizing that he was the one hurting all of his town's people. Rangiku included considering he took a piece of her soul. It was then and there that Gin decided he'd kill Aizen. Everything since then was apart of Gin's plan to befriend him, get close, and take him out. It's really a testament to his character that he was able to remain focused and play his role as "the ruthless snake" for so long. His plan nearly succeeded.
You forgot the most important part. Those guys stole part of rangiku’s soul. That’s was the pink part that he poured in. He had killed the guys after then decided he was going to kill aizen. Rangiku can never achieve bankai because of it.
@@yamomspotatosalad818 yeah, that’s what Gin meant when he said he wanted to recover what was lost. I’m earlier episodes they shows those guys fuck her up and Gin could tell that they stole something. After they took gave soul and gin watched them give it to aizen, gin killed the guys then approached aizen to become his partner. While planning how to defeat him and get rangiku’s soul back.
Gin and Uliquiorra are my personal favorites in the anime. Gin endured and was patient under Aizen so many years just to protect the one he loved, mad respect for that. it's just a shame his planning was outdone by hogyoku. Also his eyes are probably the most beautiful among all characters, even though he opens them rarely. Rip Gin.
@@xyenia0122 Yamamoto didn't figure that out. He just used his own battle experience to determine whether Aizen was actually there or not. That's not the same thing.
I’m happy jerry brought up the soul society arc, gin pushed them out of the main entrance because he knew they were certainly going to die if the entered that front gate
Long story short: Gin and Rangiku were family in the outer districts of Rugongai, when Aizen was doing experiments with consuming spiritual power from souls to fuel his proto-hogyoku. One time, when Gin was out collecting firewood, Aizen's underlings found Rangiku and removed most of her spiritual energy, then gave it to Aizen to feed to his proto-Hogyoku. Gin found Rangiku and transfused some of his spiritual power into her to save her (like what happened with Ichigo and Rukia in the beginning), but her memories were lost. Gin killed all of Aizen's allies and tried to kill Aizen, but failed to kill him and took on the persona as a murderous psychopath so that he could 1) find a way to kill Aizen; and 2) take back the proto-Hogyoku that Aizen fed to Urahara's in order to wake it up, to potentially restore the lost spiritual energy to Rangiku.
@@fate4034 It's not really that. He and Rangiku were a couple for years, but her spirit power being taken caused total amnesia of her prior life in the spirit world, thus her first memory being waking up to him helping her when she passed out. His response was actually pretty normal to some people coming and almost killing his long-term girlfriend, resulting in her losing all memory of him.
One of my favorite things about Gin is how part of the reason his eyes are always closed, and how he is always smiling and aloof, is of course a front, because he didn’t want to give away his murderous intent and hatred of Aizen, his feelings about having to kill people to get closer to him, his love of Rangiku in case it put her in harms way, or any of the other emotions regarding his actions. It’s obvious afterwards, but I love his “acting,” which is why when you do see his eyes, they are usually ice-cold and deadly serious.
Nah, the aizen that gin stabbed was heavily suppressing his reiatsu. Had he release his spiritual pressure in full then all of Ichigos friends would’ve died and gin wouldn’t be able to stand.
I love this fight because Aizen was so built up over the arch, he maintained his composure all the time, he dropped captains with a sigh. They tried to seal him, blast him, we even saw gin assassinate him perfectly and fail. Then Ichigo pulls up, grabs him by the face and drags him to a different ecosystem and completely humiliates him.
@@thelegacyofgaming2928 He did it when he got the chance to casually touch Aizen's sword. If he had tried this a moment or even months sooner his attack wouldn't have worked because his intentions would have been plainly revealed if he had tried to touch Aizen's sword sooner as he literally had no excuse to until they were talking about killing ichigo's friends.
the backstory for gin's motivation: 1. gin finds child rangiku starving to death and realizes she has immense spiritual power, gives her food, they become friends and live together in rukongai (outskirts of soul society) 2. aizen tries to activate his hogyokyu by feeding it the souls of random rukongai residents in the poor districts because he knows nobody from SS will care 3. at some point he becomes aware of rangiku and has his men siphon part of her soul. that is what you see him feeding to his baby hogyokyu in the flashback. 4. gin sees this and realizes what has happened, as he earlier found rangiku nearly comatose and missing a large amount of her soul/spirit power, and now he recognizes the power being fed to the hogyokyu as what was stolen from rangiku earlier. 5. he vows revenge on aizen and promises to himself that he'll get back what was taken from rangiku. 6. he almost succeeds, but he waited a bit too long. thus, f. other things - the reason we see the hogyokyu flash was because there is something special about rangiku's soul. read can't fear your own world light novel to find out. kubo had been saying for a long time that he intended rangiku's backstory to be very important, but he ran out of time. the fact that she still managed to be captain-class even with a large portion of her soul stolen helps back up what gin said about her power level as a child. it's also important as to why her soul, specifically, ended up being the one that caused the hogyokyu to finally react. tl;dr rangiku was OP as a child with massive spirit power and potential, so aizen stole part of her soul to empower his hogyokyu. gin saw what happened and vowed to get rangiku's missing power/soul portion back from aizen. unfortunately, he waited a bit too long & so the hogyokyu (and thus rangiku's stolen power) were already too intertwined with aizen's soul at that point.
The poem is about Rangiku. He is simply asking Rangiku that if I commit these evil acts can you still say you'd love me and if our positions were reversed could say I love you
Aizen - I'm the reason your born, I'm the reason your a hollow, shinigami and quincy, IM THE REASON YOU HAVE A THEME SONG, IM THE MUTHAFUCKING REASON YOUR THE MAIN CHARACTER

@@MrSub132 I think he's just exerting inconceivable amount of spiritual energy and riatsu himself so much that it doesn't work on him unless you hit him with the same amount, close to it or more.
@@zakk2153 like Aizen told Soi Fon. "A fight between shinigami is a fight of spiritual pressure. My power crushes your puny technique." For context, in the manga she succeeded in landing the *Death in 2 stings* but he negates it with his reiatsu alone.
@@MrSub132 there are many poss. 1. The Hado wasn't finished and Ichigo broke it before it could do the damage 2. The explosion Aizen damaged Ichigo is just a stronger attack 3. Or Ichigo didn't try to negate the attack. But I would go for 1 or 2 because I don't think he was that much higher in Sp after Aizen last transformation.
And just quick note. you see how Gin Killed Aizen by touching the sword of Aizen. Yamamoto figured that shit just in couple of scends. when he got stabed he grabed him thus break him self free from hypno. Yamamoto is EPIC
Yamamoto didn't know or ever realize that simply touching the sword, broke the spell. Yamamoto was using simple reiryoku logic. Aizen can employ any level of illusions, but Yamamoto knew his spiritual pressure..so once he was stabbed he would KNOW it was Aizen doing it. He was the best for that strategy, because he knew he could take an attack from anyone on that field... he could also keep his cool to make sure whoever he was about to incinerate was actually his target or atleast an enemy. Yama was on some next level ish.
@Xbox One I totally agree. Now knowing just what level his power was at during that fight- it makes literally no sense.🤣 I get for the story dynamic... and shock factor... but like I do feel that was one of the worst moments of writing and blatant plot armor.
Once you are affected by Kyoka suigetsu, you will be always be affected by it even if you touch the sword after it. The only way to avoid it is to touch the sword in the first time it's releasing infront of you, that's why it was so important to everyone that Ichigo had not seen aizen's release until this point. Yamamoto touched aizen's sword out of disrespect, he does the same in TYBW against other enemies.
what aizen took from rangiku, that was explained in the light novels that took place after the manga. it's actually incredible that having that power taken from rangiku, who knows what could rangiku have been all this time. i always view her ability as very fatal. like Antman level of fatality. her dust particles could literally enter the holes of her opponent whether through the mouth, nose, or ears or even eyes and then literally shred her opponents from the inside. that could have been the extent of her power.
i always feel like she should train w/byakuya, their zanpakuto abilities are so similar functionally. they both have really deadly potential like you said D; but yeah, rangiku is my favourite character actually, so i always wonder what could have been w/her. kubo used to say she was one of his favourites and he had big plans for her backstory being really important, but i think whatever those plans were got condensed into what we learned in CFYOW novels
Megan Hollingshead (Rangiku's dub va) is one of the best. It's one of the few times of raw emotion from a character that I prefer the dub over the sub.
Aizen stole a piece of baby girl and Gin dedicated his life to retrieving it. There will be no more Gin flashbacks and unfortunately this is the end of the characters story.
The whole story between Gin and Rangiku is that first of all.. Aizen took a part of Rangiku's soul and fed it to the hogyokou and you can totally see that in the flahback. Gin saves Rangiku at that time when he gives her food and ask if she also has spititual powers. From that day they started living together, but Gin always dissapears without telling Rangiku where his going and thats the part Rangiku hates about him. So to put it. Rangiku isnt fully complete because a part of her is missing eversince Aizen took part of her soul.. And that's why she was often crying as a child and Gin couldnt stand the pain of hearing her cry all the time. And that's when he decided to take back what's stolen from her and joined Aizen. That's why he said to Rangiku " I decided to become a Shinigami and change everything. I'll fix it. So that You woudnt "Cry" anymore". Also the poem he said was all about Rangiku. He questioned himself if Rangiku would still be able to love him the same way she does back then. Because he realized that his not that worthy of Rangiku's Love after all the innocent lives he killed just for his revenge to take back whats stolen from her. That's why the poem crearly say's " If one day you'll turn into snake(remember Gin address himself as a anake) and began devouring humans and with the same mouth you devoured them. You cried out to me I Love You. Would I still be able to say I Love you the same way I do today? This is the whole point Tite Kubo(Creator) wanted to point out to the Reader's and viewer's. One thing more Rangiku's B-day was from Gin because eversince they started living together Gin ask Rangiku when's her B-day and Rangiku answered. "I dont know. I never really counted days until I met you. so Gin stated. "Then the exact day you met me is your B-day. How about that Rangiku? "That was all shown in Manga" actually. Too bad the Anime didnt "include it". Hope that clears everything. Sorry if theres some wrong grammars etc. English isnt really my first language. But Gin is a total Man..! Respect man. Respect.!
Ichigo vs Aizen may not be a god tier fight in and of itself, but seeing Aizen, after spending the entire saga being a smug bastard that claims to have known and planned every twist and turn in the story, finally panic, lose his shit and just ultimately get his shit pushed in despite his bragging is one of the hypest, most cathartic experiences a Bleach fan can ever have.
Na it’s definitely god tier fight, I’ll say it’s my favorite fight followed by the Grimmjow fight, him stopping his sword literally made my mouth dropped. Plus the face grabbing moment 🔥🔥🔥
This is far from a God Tier fight lol. Bleach is like HunterxHunter most of the fights aren't really over the top good but they get you by for the story is what carries the show
I love how during this entire fight Aizen just keeps trying to come up with excuses to convince himself that Ichigo hasn't evolved to a level higher than he has. And how Ichigo just keeps throwing things in his face that Aizen has done to him previously.
@ 7:10 He was loyal. He was loyal to Rangiku but he really had a plan for many decades just to get revenge on Aizen for bullying Rangiku as a kid. If only he had done this sooner, even before Aizen fused with the Hogyoku, it would have been easily handled. Idk why he waited so long when he knew the secret to beating Aizens zanpakuto
Rip to our brother Gin, gave me Itachi Uchiha vibes from the very beginning... 🥃 You know when someone hurts somebody close to you, Gin showed us all how it should be done. What makes him even more awesome is that he devoted his life to the destruction of Aizen and he did it in the most badass way possible

I would have preferred if Gin's character accomplished....SOMETHING. It's a shame to have such a cool character get taken out by Aizen plot magic and then forgotten about.
But that's kinda the point of his character. He tried so hard, stained his soul for one purpose and not only failed but no one will ever EVER know what he did. Who he truly was. He will be a traitor, murderer, psychopath in everyone's mind forever. He completely and utterly failed.
Ichigo had less than a day to gain his soul reaper powers, and to reach shikai... He achieved bankai within 2 days, and then gained control of his hollow within less than a day... With 3 months of training, he was more powerful than aizen WITH the hogyoku... If ichigo was able go stay in hyberbolic time chamber for 2 days(2 years), or get at least 1 year of solid training...he could easily outclass all the other captains
For the first time in watching Rttv, I can say that Wellz said something remotely smart. He said that aizen's wish to test out ichigo by making him stronger was his downfall due to the hogyokous wishes. He should exercise his mind more like this instead of trying to win debates where he tries to twist things.
Ichigo was gaining battle experience from zangetsu for 3 months, gaining white ichigo's strength cause Ichigo didn't have it before. And ofcourse that form 'Dangai/Final Getsuga' whole Ichigo's reatsu that he had for whole his life, he used all of it in an instance.
I don’t think Aizen knew he would evolve from dying. He most likely kept Gin around because he was loyal and strong. He always had a hunch that he might do some snake shit but he didn’t know this would happen.

"So we're NOT gonna get a backstory for him though?" If you would shut up and had paid attention to the flashback, then you would have heard it. I didn't get Itachi's motivation at all same with many characters in Naruto. Why did Itachi kill his friends, family and girlfriend? Cause there would be civil war? Real person would stand with his family.
Ichigo's whole thing is speed. Bankai = condensed spiritual pressure to gain attack power and speed. IMHO, it wasn't just a 3 month training period to hone some basic kendo skills. It was 3 months to learn from and, in a way, subjugate his inner hollow and zanpaktou...TOGETHER. Take that and factor in his whole "speed" ability...it makes sense why he got so strong in just 3 months with no other interruptions.

Yet somehow getting rid of the Uchiha clan, who was arguably HALF of the Leaf Village's force, which made the village vulnerable for the time being, somehow the other villages didn't take advantage of that opportunity.... It might not be your style but it’s literally 3 episodes long so not much commitment. There’s also some novels like actual books that are set a bit after the last arc of bleach and if you’re lucky they might animate those too so you can see what happens without reading. Then we just got a new chapter after 5 years the manga is continuing but we don’t know when each chapter is gonna come out or how long it will go on for. As soon as gin apologized to rangiku at the end of the soul society arc I knew he’d be the itachi (who I predicted was actually good) of bleach, so the heel-face turn isn’t that unpredictable. @@arcaneshadow1275 😂😂 I mean it’s not even his fault Ichigo is literally a test tube baby, and Aizen was playing with him like how people would play Sim City. Aizen lost because he himself subconsciously was hating how powerful he’d become. He literally wanted someone who he wouldn’t just instantly one shot and actually give him a challenge. All the experience in the world doesn’t matter if he wasn’t actively trying to win. As for the Hogyoku, it brings into existence what its master desires, so because of Aizen feeling lonely he wasn’t able to fully harness all the hax and get stronger because he simply DIDNT WANT to get stronger for fear of further isolation (somewhat similar to Starks backstory). Also, even though 3 months is a relatively short amount of time training to bridge such a huge gap between the 2, because of Ichigo having such a unique genetic composition, he is unfairly talented and it’s even stated MULTIPLE TIMES that ichigo has unnatural potential with him picking up advanced techniques (Bankai, reiryoku ribbons, etc) and combat prowess in a very short amount of time. He evolves exponentially after every fight/bit of training he does. Now if you put a foreshadowed ultimate technique (final getsuga), with a very quick learning and efficient being, and 3 months of NON STOP TRAINING, ur bound to get something unexpected. To say that it’s ridiculous and random would be far from true because of Kubo‘s very VERY subtle hints and foreshadowing, but I can kinda see why most people would see it as a classic Deus Ex Machina especially if they haven’t payed attention (rttv ultimate technique), or if they just haven’t done any research on the topic.

Gin is not only weird or creepy, but he’s a simp confirmed

FAX
Wasn't perfect because he waited way too late to do it. But the face grab is iconic.
FACTSSSSS
the backstory for gin's motivation:
1. gin finds child rangiku starving to death and realizes she has immense spiritual power, gives her food, they become friends and live together in rukongai (outskirts of soul society)
2. aizen tries to activate his hogyokyu by feeding it the souls of random rukongai residents in the poor districts because he knows nobody from SS will care
3. at some point he becomes aware of rangiku and has his men siphon part of her soul. that is what you see him feeding to his baby hogyokyu in the flashback.
4. gin sees this and realizes what has happened, as he earlier found rangiku nearly comatose and missing a large amount of her soul/spirit power, and now he recognizes the power being fed to the hogyokyu as what was stolen from rangiku earlier.
5. he vows revenge on aizen and promises to himself that he'll get back what was taken from rangiku.
6. he almost succeeds, but he waited a bit too long. thus, f.
other things - the reason we see the hogyokyu flash was because there is something special about rangiku's soul. read can't fear your own world light novel to find out. kubo had been saying for a long time that he intended rangiku's backstory to be very important, but he ran out of time. the fact that she still managed to be captain-class even with a large portion of her soul stolen helps back up what gin said about her power level as a child. it's also important as to why her soul, specifically, ended up being the one that caused the hogyokyu to finally react.
tl;dr rangiku was OP as a child with massive spirit power and potential, so aizen stole part of her soul to empower his hogyokyu. gin saw what happened and vowed to get rangiku's missing power/soul portion back from aizen. unfortunately, he waited a bit too long & so the hogyokyu (and thus rangiku's stolen power) were already too intertwined with aizen's soul at that point.
She had alot of spirit power...
Big, full, large, doubley reserves of spirit power...
..that went straight to her melons
Keep in mind Ichigo has been fighting for 3 months nonstop inside the Dangai and goes straight to face palming Aizen

what aizen took from rangiku, that was explained in the light novels that took place after the manga. it's actually incredible that having that power taken from rangiku, who knows what could rangiku have been all this time. i always view her ability as very fatal. like Antman level of fatality. her dust particles could literally enter the holes of her opponent whether through the mouth, nose, or ears or even eyes and then literally shred her opponents from the inside. that could have been the extent of her power.
i always feel like she should train w/byakuya, their zanpakuto abilities are so similar functionally. they both have really deadly potential like you said D;
but yeah, rangiku is my favourite character actually, so i always wonder what could have been w/her. kubo used to say she was one of his favourites and he had big plans for her backstory being really important, but i think whatever those plans were got condensed into what we learned in CFYOW novels

bro i'm so glad these guys loved gin, this moment was epic
Respect.!

@@dencheq kind of hated how Ichigo’s defeated Grim. Wasn’t that epic, just will power which I didn’t feel.
@@IveBeenChris I didn't like it much earlier but I like it more now. I see it as not just fight of the fists but fight of emotions.
@@dencheq yea you can put it that way but Grim’s survivalist instinct should be as strong as Ichigo’s will to protect his love ones. They could of made it a draw at least imo

Ichigo Returning Aged with Op form was Lit. Gins True feelings was so emotional.. # That's true bleach
Shit is legendary. Such great reveals in these two episodes. Gin is a GOAT and Ichigo is so fucking badass! 🤘🏽
My sister just got into anime and this her fav show so far
Lol rob and jerry always be near passed out watching
Gin had that shadow role like Itachi but as a more respectful character since he wasn't a clan killer or killed his own parents for a village that never cared about him or his fellow clansmen. RIP to the GOAT Gin Ichimaru! 🔥🐐🔥
Seems like u had some prob with Itachi?
Sounds like u think he's an idiot
@@casinosullen8640
I had a problem with how the writers contradicted themselves. The writers wanted Itachi to stop the coup de tat because he felt a civil war within the village would create the opportunity for other villages to take advantage by invading which would've started the 4th great ninja war. Yet somehow getting rid of the Uchiha clan, who was arguably HALF of the Leaf Village's force, which made the village vulnerable for the time being, somehow the other villages didn't take advantage of that opportunity.... And don't get me started on the other plot holes within the series.
@@casinosullen8640 I mean, he kinda was an idiot, at least when it came to his plans for Sasuke and the desire to maintain the clan's positive reputation over the truth.
@@saradaharunoofthesharingan3564 gin is not like itachi
@@saradaharunoofthesharingan3564 gin is creepy and weird
This might be the hardest moment in the series maybe. It’s a contender. But in terms of stuff that happens it’s insane how backloaded the series is I never seen anything like this before where all the crazy shit yet to come and the anime didn’t even get there for 10 years. It’s like he saved all the stuff he could’ve spread out evenly across the series and stuffed it all into the final arc.
But right now we got the the anime coming back, burn the witch which is by the same dude and you should watch that after bleach.
But the point is once you see all that shit you’re gonna realize it’s insane how much he was holding back showing in the soul society and arrancar arcs. He kept all that for the final arc and the stuff that happens after.
Yea, backloaded is an understatement. It's ridiculous how, save 1 or 2 moments, all the hype moments are in the last 50 or so episodes.
@@thelegacyofgaming2928 I’m talking about the stuff in the final manga arc that hasn’t been animated yet. That arc from start to finish is filled with shit we been waiting to see for years and more but instead of letting us see some of that in the arrancar arc like maybe he should’ve he really left it all in one place. Then the stuff he didn’t show in that arc got shown in the novels that happen after and anything we didn’t see in those since he still holding out on us for some things might get shown in the new arc that just started.
@@tnuhenaj3752 We need to see Aizen's bankai. That's all I need.
@@tnuhenaj3752 a fan service arc is not a good arc. The story overall for the TYBW was not good it was just a very fan service style to give everyone what they been asking for and people believe that's what makes it good. But you all the characters are one off you don't really get to know anybody they are fighting, the power creeps were insanely unnecessary but only happened to move the plot, even the final fight was very lack luster. Kubo didn't want to continue bleach but was getting paid to then once the sales plummeted they rushed him to finish because the series just wasn't good enough. Thats what led it to be rushed to finished meaning the final arc is not a good arc.
Go back to the first time Gin slipped up and Ichigo got past him and rescued Renji and Rukia(rescue being subjective)and every other time Gin did something suspicious. Like the time Ichigo deflected his Bankai and it almost hit Aizen...Gin has always been looking for an opening. He really was playing the long game but he had to step in...
4:03-4:14 So y’all just KNEW y’all was uploadin this Fri. the 13th😂
Gin's real bankai was his love for Rangiku.
Gin is a simp always😒
19:29 Ichigo returned the favour after Aizen did that to him twice.
Man really sounds like a windex bottle when he laughs LMAO
As soon as gin apologized to rangiku at the end of the soul society arc I knew he’d be the itachi (who I predicted was actually good) of bleach, so the heel-face turn isn’t that unpredictable. But I like the way he did it. Gin was more assassination style versus itachi who did a heck of a lot of sabotage. They both did their stuff differently.
In general the only time anime gets me emotional is op but I think it’s the music and rangiku crying that has me feeling the weight of gins death and what he went through for revenge and love
My interpretation of the swallowing comments was that gin wanted to know if rangiku would still love him and after all the dirt he did so I’m more where Jerry is than pat. The English voice actress doesn’t compare to the Japanese one for rangiku so glad to see they still used the og voice actress for the crying scene. Even the way she screams gin in the original version is wrought with emotion. Especially with the music in the background
I’m way more meh about ichigos haxed power ups which is why I like op more but there’s no denying ichigos badass new look/art
He trained for 3 months straight lol can’t really call it hax
@@_ph4nt0mzz_47 ichigos special lineage is what’s hax. 3 months of training shouldn’t compared to aizens hundreds years of experience combined with the power of the hougyoku. Not hating on that concept but it’s just not my favorite compared to other power systems. Hunter x hunters for example is incredibly balanced and creative so I like that one. Bleach with ichigos ridiculous op random power ups are cool looking on the art side but bother me on the writing side 😂
@@_ph4nt0mzz_47 you’re right. I wouldn’t go as far to say it was feud ex machine and I think sufficient seeds were planted by Kubo where I don’t think it’s total bs writing or anything. It’s just not my favorite angle to have the chosen one/test tube baby save the day scenarios. Here and there is fine. Obv luffy has his own ridiculous special lineage and Naruto is the son of a hokage and reincarnation of a legend and all. I just find it wack to use the he was Lonely angle plus hyperbolic chamber device to win and overcome years of experience (although aizen is also ridiculous hax and never explained other than us assuming he’s just crazy gifted).
@@arcaneshadow1275 To be fair, Aizen's powers and strengths are also hax.
ichigo and sung jin woo are both my two favorite main characters in terms of drip
Gin vs Aizen is my favorite Bleach fight, even more than Ichigo vs Ulquiorra. :D
That was not a fight 😂
@@thelegacyofgaming2928 Gin tried to kill Aizen, and Aizen killed Gin.
Either that's a fight, or some very rough foreplay.
It may be one of the shortest fights, but it is definitely the most intense fight in the entire Bleach anime.
eyo I keep forgetting how cold this first part of the fight was, ichigo a real G
Aizen had his minions take a important piece of rangiku soul. Gin wanted to get it back, get revenge and kill aizen. Gin is not a good guy or bad guy he just wants to avenge what aizen did to rangiku at any cost.
