Hi Curry, Do you have a message saying that demons have no legal rights to stay. I know that they come to steal, kill and destroy, (John 10:10) but this brother is totally convinced that they have a legal right to stay if the person doesn't confess or stop the sin. I told them that the authority in the name of Jesus is all they need to cast out the demons, but they don't agree. Love your teachings and I'm working on my identity in Christ... Thanks
Demons do things illegally even before the cross because their evil deeds are always against God's will and plans, and when they go against God in any way, they are doing so lawlessly. That is their nature. One can, in a way, give a demon "legal right," which in reality is just giving a demon permission so that the demon can make an excuse to stay. Meanwhile the finished work of Christ declared Satan/sin/curses defeat, so the stuff is already a done-deal. How can a person even give a demon a "legal right" in the first place? If a door is open and you welcome them, they will surely attack you for free, which actually is a bondage!
