    • @rockets4kids
      @rockets4kids Год назад +8

      That does seem odd. I wonder if there is another build option which makes the main deck cabin the Captain's cabin. As it is, that cabin seems quite odd. And I don't think it was mentioned but it seems that cabin shares its head as the day head. Then there are no indoor dining spaces. I wonder if this boat was intended for charter rather than private ownership?

    It's no Gulf Craft Majesty 175 but Nick if you hadn't mentioned the year I would have said this yacht presents as a new yacht. As a raised pilot house style it has no outstanding different layout compared to most but the interior layout and finishings does it for me,very comfortable looking and nice cabins all around. Another lovely older yacht, the Italian styling makes it look new. A 12 berth boat is pretty impressive in 105ft with a good crew area and a decent garage to boot.a lot to like about this yacht and a lounge that didn’t look too much like a show home or boutique hotel, proper sofas. Think I could find a place to hide away with a good book or something from that wine cellar.

Don't get me wrong, I love it. But I've had to acquire an additional whiteboard to fit all my additional yacht wishes. While the added whiteboard cost me nothing THIS TIME - got it from the storage room at work and there's more. No, it's the room to put it at home. How many walls do you think I have? Wait, don't stop, I'll get more walls...

Think I'd want a dining option under air, especially for the summers in Florida. Always happy to see comfortable crew areas. I have always loved Azimut but there's a few observations I'd make. The cabin off the main saloon is most likely to be the skippers cabin instead of a guest cabin.
    However, one thing that was lacking for me is the lack of an internal dining area. If this was my boat, that cabin on the main deck would be better suited as a dining room.

    This does have a nic layout. Really great for an American owner. Maybe some British owners. These are great 'mini charter' boats, or 2 week boats. After a out 2 weeks, 100% the owner isn't going to be aboard anymore. I know that for a fact. Business or something will come up and off they go. I bet they'll charter or loan her out after that. Anyways, if this was at FLIBS, then I know you had to be there when I was filming videos and nobody told me. No way you filmed all these boats while I was gone.

    Nick a question if you see this, I’m thinking about purchasing a 30-35 or so meter motor yacht to live aboard permanently and wonder if you can recommend how many full time live aboard crew I’ll need? Other than captain, engineer etc mainly for interior. It’ll only be me living aboard but would have 1-4 guests on occasion. I’m physically become unable to sail so am thinking it’s time to sell the Beneteau and go motoring around the oceans. Thanks for any advice. It’ll just be the main cabin cooking etc as far as care for me but I know the entire interior will of course need sprucing up and cleaning etc so I’m thinking perhaps 2 full time live aboard crew and an extra round local wherever I’m in port but am torn in a chef vs’s a crew that can also cook lol.

      I have been aboard a 155, but sadly it was before AQUAHOLIC even existed. Spectacular yacht.

    Nick, I noticed some internal flare happening in you camera from 02:18 - 02:25. It's obviously from the overload of sunlight from the outside sun coming in through the windows. Do you have a better camera with better internal flare coatings on it's lens or can you change the lens to one with better flare coatings? Can I suggest you invest in Canon or Nikon lenses (cameras) that work really hard on these aspects of their lenses? Oh and you didn't show us behind the two doors at the top of the stairs in the crew area, was that because they were in there? Or was it Head and showers? Great boat. Perhaps a little too large for a single owner operator, which is a shame. Another great tour, albeit a little brief in spots. Thanks.

      It's a GoPro, so it's not possible to fit camera lenses.

    Hi Nick a great offering again BUT again it hasn't a dedicated formal interior dining space, only the outdoor rear deck. It would be a pinch tight to cater for a full passenger load in that galley too? Otherwise it's my type of little ship ✔️ Cheers DougT

      Layouts of these are very much owner spec, and many owners simply don't use, and therefore have, internal dining, it would be a waste of space for them.

      @@AQUAHOLIC ok I get it, I for one have no need for such a bar area, so that would be my area for an indoor dining space, if the lottery came up trumps 👍
