Well that's actually where you are wrong as a person with stomach problems mostly acid reflux my stomach produces way too much stomach acid I take medicine for it and the medicine does a pretty decent job however I do require a can or to Coke a day it's nice if I have it now I've had to go without it and of course I have survived and it's been fine but I will say for that added extra comfort to my stomach to have a cold can of Coke or sometimes to pour it over ice and sip it it actually really makes it feel even better than just running my stomach straight on medicine.
So your dumbass concept that nobody eats soda yeah I got news for you that's not true.

Well as someone who originated from an area where we really could grow our own food and preserve it ourselves I can say that a lot of us were forced into the city now I'm trying to make headway to get back out in the countryside but I can tell you that it's not easy so what you have is a whole host of people who are unwillingly dependent upon the grocery store because they have zero room to grow anything you can do some growing of stuff here pots I know my dad has a container garden at this point and you can take the gardener out of the countryside but you cannot take the gardener out of the man.
And you can produce a hell of a lot of produce that way problem is simply you're going to need room even for the container so if you don't have basically a conventional house frontage if you don't have a decent sized porridge that is well lit with the sunlight etc or you don't have hardly a yard then you're going to be extremely limited on what you can grow and or how much you can grow and that's the major problem I mean take a poor fucker living somewhere in Chicago or New York you know they may have it one time lived on the farm or they may have came from suburban Midwest but now they're basically stuck in these big cities and can't get out unless of course they were to just leave everything they own and literally walk out so what the hell are they supposed to do unfortunately this accounts for a large portion of the population even big cities within the Midwest take Columbus Ohio for example there's virtually no room to grow anything and what you do grow you run into the risk that some neighbor bastard is going to whine to whatever council or worse yet and HOA and they're going to want to uproot your tomato plants.

@@rightsdontcomewithpermits7073 Not everyone has that luxury to have a garden, or raise livestock. I did, however we lost our farm due to the fire. Never been able to find an affordable place like that again. Where we are at now, we are not allowed to have a garden, or raise livestock. And not much room for food storage or canning. You can loose all you have worked for in an instant due to a disaster like, fire, flood, earthquake, volcanic eruption, tornado, hurricane, job loss, unpaid medical bills, mortgage and property tax hikes, death of loved ones. Best we can do now is live one day at a time, and prepare for our heavenly rewards.

Most definitely. That problem needs to be addresses first and foremost. These companies are screwing us.

    • @American-Motors-Corporation
      @American-Motors-Corporation 2 месяца назад

The easy credit system in America has largely been designed and or allowed to be that way ever since the 90s particularly the mid-90s on to allow for the supposed growth of middle class in other words if you cut off credit tomorrow most of the people possibly including yourself with no longer be middle class.
Of course I can say that the credit situation is allowed for prices to go completely stupid if Bob is wanting to buy a house and you want to make it realistic for Bob to buy the house out of Bob's pocket because there's no lenders or there's very limited then the price would obviously be low right but if you allow for hundreds of thousands of dollars of home loans to be written then all of the sudden that's what houses cost.
This spills over into the rent market because most landlords have everything finance you see they don't really have a choice either of course you have those who straight up build a rental empire and perhaps you were local area on credit they would buy one house they would keep it for next number of years build that equity for doing nothing more than simply holding it baby turn around and borrow against it go and buy another and of course all of the tenants are paying mortgages and taxes plus providing them with a little bit of profit that's business but of course I'm saying that that problem has got worse it used to be back when houses were affordable and I'm talking the early 60s the early 60s I know I had a neighbor that talked about how that's how they built their rental empire was the early 60s because of that time you could go to pretty much anywhere you wanted in the immediate area and buy a house for literally $2,000 so even if they financed it they were able to pay it off super quick and of course this meant that every dime they collected outside of the property tax but of course you just made the tenant pay the property tax of course this was back before property taxes went completely stupid of course even that landlord talks about how most other landlords use the property tax as a means of justifying higher rent when in reality the property tax doesn't go up every year it only goes up every 3 to 5 years and if you look your accounting and or city will have a schedule for taxes it is something that doesn't necessarily go up every year but it is a famous excuse.
So as rentals became more and more financed and a lot of landlords got the business of simply leaning on those rentals for money in other words every time they wanted to buy a new boat they went mortgage the rental so then they had to raise rates.
The big cover up of last decade or shall I say the mid-2000 especially was the fact that there was a lot of landmarks that were over extended and they were technically forced to give up some of their rentals they have done their best to cover this up the system does particularly want you to know that because it signifies that there is a portion of the middle class or say the upper middle class that is in a lot of financial trouble it's like right now A lot of people are talking about the office space apocalypse or the commercial rental apocalypse so whether it be a storefront or office space that's going to blow up that's the big thing that's going to blow up in real estate the housing market is one thing but commercial property is definitely a problem here's what they don't talk about they don't talk about the other third option when it comes to commercial property and that is simply your landlord's rental business and of course it ain't just private guys even the conglomerates have these joints financed to hell and back to the degree sometimes they really are able to buy them out right but there's a certain amount of those that they do have debt on.
You can only charge so much because people can only pay so much at what point do you step out of the realm of realistic and ultimately price yourself out of business you see that's a problem in every business not just rental properties so you've got the prices over the grocery store going nuts oh wow at the same time you have the cost of the shelter to put the groceries in going crazy at what point does it drop out at what point is it declared no one can really afford this anymore of course A lot of it also harkens back jobs the jobs don't pay really worth shit especially in comparison with the applied inflation see a lot of people talk about how the raising of minimum wage caused or will cause inflation that can happen but I can say that the inflation has largely been applied before the call for minimum wage increases had happened but a lot of people don't really want to recognize that because they're polarized one end or the other on the political spectrum of the topic they don't leave the politics behind and just look at the actual economics.
So basically by the time we got to 2011 I know that I had said in my family did we've crossed the point of no return it doesn't really matter if the state or the federal government declares minimum wage needs to be the following or if every employer in your town were to magically wake up one morning and decide that they're not going to pay any less than the proverbial $15 an hour right or even if they decided they're all going to pay everybody $18 an hour it does not matter because here's the bitch everywhere in town wants a piece of that money so the grocery store is going to get a memo by noon right and every landlord will be informed by that evening so if your lease is coming up and you happen to work for company X or if they feel that you're going to get a raise at some point based on so many companies in the area have doled out raises and no matter if their mass is accurate on their calculations of what that race is worth they're going to write the new renewal of the lease to take pretty much most of it whether you can really truly afford it or not matter if you've actually received the raise it doesn't matter if they project that you're going to get one within 6 months they want it figured in so they can collect it and they don't have to violate the lease or they don't have to wait for the lease to be up in order to collect it later they build that in but in the process right they've put a lot of people out on their ass doing so.
and then of course you get the dick waggers to show up and talk about how you just need to get a better job problem is is there's better jobs don't exist I mean I've seen professional jobs that at one point in time would pay no less than $40,000 a year even as fucking data entry and now they're talking about paying your 13 to $15 an hour it's bullshit.
It's basically why I left retail management about your 1350-15 an hour check out the job boards you will find those it's not perhaps every company but it is the majority it's quickly becoming the majority outside of bigger businesses like Walmart or Target but on the other hand I can say that yeah actually there's a lot of Heather big box retailers that's doing it too they're basically devaluing the jobs which of course I believe is what 2020 was all about that was the reset when it comes to the job market.
Basically they're flying under the concept that they shoved all of the experienced talent out of the door so what they got in was basically bodies on the floor that were technically trainable and capable but they don't supposedly have the experience so they use Madison means to pay for less so the idea was to stay purposely engineered a situation to where they would shove the older folks out the door supposedly and or even some younger talent out the door and then they would recruit what they consider to be virtually no talent in and then they would use that as a means to pay them less then when they get ready to cycle them out and attempt to get the experience people back in what happens is they want to offer significantly less because then they claim this is now the going rate it was a reset of wages.
The truth is just simply experience hasn't really truly mattered in literally 15 years.
You could probably argue 20 but for the immediate realm of problems that we face I'm going to go with 15.
So basically what we have is a world where everything is doubly over financed meaning that alone has driven up the cost you have a situation where wages are largely stagnant simply because wages haven't risen with the rate of inflation I mean even if you took it from the year 2000 to 2010 the wage is still really didn't rise the way they were supposed to.
At some point that does blow up everybody because at some point people are going to have to have more it's not a matter of they're just purely demanding it's a matter of they actually need the problem is if they're given it it's going to work for about 2 months and then everybody's going to show up at one more of that meaning they're in a better off than they were before the race this is why I say we've crossed the point in return so then it creates the environment of real stagflation which is more so the mindset of the Soviet Union in the late 80s which was they pretend to pay us so we pretend to work.
I would say that's where we are this is why in 2008 through 2010 we saw the rise of the work ethic propaganda and this is why today they're still idiots to think it's fashionable to continuously go on about it's not that people are really lazy like it's projected it's simply they're acting their wage I mean if you're faced with a certain amount of homelessness and of course high cost of living what the fuck really is your motivation to do all of the shit and to be honest there really is no motivation so it is stacked the job market is stacked there again even if they did give the race it's not much help because eventually everything that makes up the system mostly other businesses are going to want that they're all out for a percentage of whatever it is you make.

Gouging is at least 30% of the increase in cost of living. Since the word 'stagflation' was first coined some 50 years ago, the rich have gotten much richer since then, with the top 1% controlling 27% of the money supply, the top 1% richer than all of the middle 60% put together, and the top 1% having 16X the wealth of the bottom 50%, so the word 'greedflation' does have an appropriate feeling.

Well the stagflation situation I guess if you're talking in the realm of the past 18 years was relatively short list and I can say that they used the stagflation between my arguably but definitely between and 13 for example as a means of saying that it's stable because of course it was stag I mean nothing was really on the up but nothing was really on The den now you had individual businesses and people who definitely took the fall you have a lot of that going on yes but overall the stagnation of things via the mostly no growth within the overall economy by the way the economy of any given area because I can say even the local governments and counties got him preaching that everything is fucking stabilized but in reality it was stagnet.
Of course I will say that a big problem with the stagnant fire is simply what you get is wage freezes hiring freezes so economically the people aren't doing so well oh well at the same time you have more and more inflation imposed upon everything of course they count the inflation as growth so if the price of Snickers went up you know 80 cents then they count that as great so the numbers are rigged when it comes to the growth of the economy because things that you would normally count as a kick in the balls to the situation they're actually trying to spin it and say that it's good.

Yeah I hear a lot of people with small towns say this and you know perhaps there really isn't but I can also say how many of you actually look to the outskirts of your small town to see what's really coming your direction because I can also say that a lot of people in a small town use the small town is some sort of smoke screen that it has given the false sense of security and we don't know who happens through there we don't know exactly what goes on unless you're out to look I'm certain that there's people in your areas that could probably tell you a bit of a different story the problem is a lot of people live in a bubble and they don't want to know the other store I'm not directly accusing you of this but I am saying that it does happen more often than most care to believe.
Of course I can also say that a small town and stacks can actually be just as dangerous as a big city simply because you have the chance that everybody is going to know exactly what you have what you're about what you did to get whatever it is you've got the time comes they would be more than happy to use that against you if you failed to comply contribute to perhaps their cause then you automatically become the isolated outsider and technically they feel as if you are a threat so the small town or even honestly the countryside has provided most with a false sense of security particularly those who do not grow anything for themselves.
Of course I can remember seeing those bantering over the blue versus red State bullshit and I've seen plenty of people in the supposed red States talk about how they don't have a problem except they do they're just in straight up polarized I know this because I live in a red State oh yeah especially within the past five to six years see a lot of this was on the rise way before the 2020 bullshit.
Course I can also say that the local Republicans are certainly not Republicans I mean they're the assholes talking about giving their buddies raises down its mayor's office for no fucking reason they don't really want to put money on the roads where it belongs I mean at this point it kind of doesn't matter who the fuck you vote for they're all going to blow money they're all going to make themselves or Rich and unfortunately most citizenry is going to stand there and grumble about it rather than actually do anything.

Well and I can tell you the strengthulation is also not A New concept by any stretch of the imagination I remember that a lot of people across the board were grumbling about it early last decade through even the middle of last decade I mean the trajectory of inflation is in existence we've been riding that trajectory I could argue 25 years but most people wouldn't see that because they would say oh well the rate of inflation back then was hardly 10 cents every so many months so they want to ignore it not realizing that every fucking penny actually counts.
So I suppose to make math simple at the end of the day basically right for the past 16 to 18 years we've been on this trajectory and with each year it gets worse pretty soon what you have is 16 years that people look back on and say holy shit Batman it's really bad and then they act like it's new it's not new.
Things have been shrinking for years ago granted I can argue this year are things a little smaller than they were say three or four years ago yes but that's what I'm talking about we're still on that trajectory couple of years from now you're going to buy basically a fucking spec of chocolate with a Snickers name on it they're going to charge you $2 more than they are today okay that's where it's headed pretty soon you're just going to get a fucking rapper that says Snickers you're supposed to pretend it's chocolate with a couple of peanuts and they're going to charge you even more fuck okay that's where we're headed but it's all the same trajectory it's all the same it doesn't matter that it we had this issue in 2015 versus last year it doesn't matter that 8 years ago we were on this problem while at the same time 5 years ago we were still dealing with this problem and of course it carries over it today the bottom line is we are on path we have been on that it's honestly boggles my mind quite frankly pisses me off especially when the supposed know it all older crowd doesn't realize this.

    • @American-Motors-Corporation
      @American-Motors-Corporation 2 месяца назад

Well a lot of the times it's not even the competition that they're buying basically I would say most of the bullshit in 2020 was simply a lot of these companies are trying to become more vertically integrated meaning they wanted to eliminate the middleman yes but they wanted what the middleman had so what they did is they basically got their suppliers to extend credit they withheld payment helped run those companies into the dirt and then went in and bought it up for pennies on the dollar it's one of the oldest business tactics there are.
Basically what you do is you withhold payment from your supplier or any other business that is giving you a service you basically bring that company to its knee and then you buy it up for nothing even if you force it into bankruptcy you buy it out of bankruptcy court for nothing.
Basically that was pretty much what happened to Lehman Brothers versus Goldman Sachs.
Lehman Brothers ended up in a situation to where they were servicing accounts for Goldman Sachs they were providing a service to open sex well Goldman Sachs decided they wanted it all for themselves so they then withheld payments and they brought Lehman Brothers 2 it's knees and then basically forced it in a bankruptcy and then took over everything for pennies on the dollar and in a lot of cases they grabbed up this assets for nothing some shit they paid for but they paid very little for it most other things they straight up took over and or the court awarded it to them because they deemed to be the next best thing that could handle it.
There again it's an old business actor if you want to take over your supplier because you want to integrate what they're doing inside your business but you do not want to pay a hefty price to have the merge with you or a straight-up buy what you do is you withhold payments you bring them to their knees you make them dependent upon you then you with hold for all we know that's exactly what's been going on with suppliers versus retailers it's awful funny that a lot of those companies went under it's awful funny is it even a lot of the manufacturers of a lot of the goods that you couldn't get for about a year and a half went under disappeared and then shortly thereafter oh boy here's all the products back on the shelf I mean it seems to me somebody went to a fucking short sale right?
It seems to me that what happened was well for instance during the 2020 garbage I was working at home Depot I remember there is all full host of things you could not get out of any given department at any given time and I know that best because I actually was working order for film I was in order picker so I knew pretty much what we had and what we did not have...
For example in the electrical department there are of course the plug boxes well I remember there was a fuck ton of those that you could not get at that time and if we did get any and it was usually literally one or two of them but it was interesting because I had a friend who worked up at the service desk who would watch the list of suppliers everyday and every day he was talking about oh shit another 10 of them or better sometimes it's like 20 or 30 of these suppliers not just for the electrical department across the board they took a shit basically on our lifetime list they would turn red if they no longer dealt with us if they went out of business so it was awful funny that this list was going red big time Big Big but then later in the year of course everything kind of settled down 20/20 became 21 and mostly suppliers disappeared and then all the sudden there's a flood of inventory yeah I mean it sounds like sounds like home Depot withheld payment to the supplier ran them out of business and then immediately made a deal with the manufacturer of those components and then had like two trucks no I can say that the inventory levels have been a little skimpy since I no longer work there I haven't worked for them in 4 years however my father still works there he's been there for five years but I can say that every so often you get a spike in inventory and then there are these deficiencies inventory wow the same time it seems to coincide with the supplier going on so it's like when they're about to go under you can't get anything after they go under it starts trickling in and then say a couple of weeks to a month after they're already out of business all the sudden here comes the flood of shit so I know that these companies have buyers that go down short sale.

Highlights foods you don't need to buy and your health will be better off. Candy, high fructose soda, potato chips, antibiotic laced beef. The staples are still affordable and will always be because people have to eat. Although, the proposed merger between Kroger/Albertsons-Safeway will lead to extreme price hikes because they will effectively be a monopoly in many markets. They are competing against Walmart

It is unfortunate that the big food brands are hiking prices, but there may be a solution: Stop buying food from those big brands! If you are relatively poor, you need to look for better deals! For example, a few months ago I found 2 liter bottles of ginger ale on sale for just 25 cents each. Stop buying the Heinz ketchup, as it is really no better than some other off-brands that are much less expensive. Buy chocolate when it is on sale, or better yet, don't buy it because it is not very healthy. Above all, never splurge on junk food! The truth is that the big brands can hike prices because most people are not flexible enough to look for better deals. The only way to defeat the big evil food companies, is to buy from the companies who don't raise prices as much!

When you look at it, it is not cheese. Just a lot of oil and water made to mix. Inflation is due to money being worth less. Not just greedy companies jack up prices. They can do that any time.
