These are two of the greatest clubs in the world but for me it's Liverpool who are on a level above everyone else. The history, drama, noise, colour, dynamic, tradition and sheer magnitude of this club is immeasurable. They just have something that other clubs don't have and I include Real Madrid, Ajax, Bayern, Milan, Barcelona Man Utd in that. Great powerful clubs in themselves but (for me) Liverpool have a soul that bleeds passion and footballing culture. I tip my hat to you. Anfield isn't a stadium, it's a fortress built upon sacred ground.

I stood in the Kop in the 95/96 season, when we had Fowler & Collymore up front. Went up from Devon 7 times that season, but the united game we lost & it was the season/game when the cameras showed that united fan with his little home made bloody sign 'we won the league at Liverpool'. Anyone else remember that? Match of The Day showed it.

not really. if you understand vocabulary you know that in football you chant things that will be heard. if you sing a song such as walk on or do a singing chant it is harder to defend on a counter. if you said Manchester over and over your brain can hear the same word over and over and your mind will focus on that one word as it is easier to learn that than walk on. basically our brains are engineered to take the easier option!!
