Most have said traction is good it may take time. Looks like you play at 24 Hour Fitness which a lot of times those are courts are super slippery and not good to play on.

While I tested the DON Issue 5 I had with me on various days the KD16 Aunt Pearl, Trae Young 3, Dame 8 EXTPLY, and Wade 303 2 Ultra V2, these did not slip hardly. It really was day and night.
At end of video I do mention that if you play on a clean court, it most likely will perform a lot better. But for the typical hooper who goes to membership gyms where the courts can be dusty, it can have some problems.
Another possibility, sometimes the rubber compounds are different, white rubber vs the black rubber. I've seen that before. Even translucents sometimes are better and other times are worse.
I really thought they were going to be good, I tested 4 indoor courts and 3 outdoor courts. I truly have to go with my findings, or else I would be doing the hoopers a de-service.
I still like them big time for outdoors. But when I get accesss to a private gym where the courts are super clean, I might take them. But for dusty courts, the other shoes I mentioned are so much better.
I appreciate your feedback Jayhawk, I just try to give as much information to the hoppers, then everyone can decide for themselves. Thanks for stopping by Brother.

@@jpalacesneakers I think you need to break them in. Some shoes are like that. Most have said traction is good (or at least average).

@Chicago_Jayhawk Jay I really tried to give these a chance since I break-in a lot of shoes, always testing different ones. Tested Issue#5 for 8 days straight, I didn't rush the process I tried to be thorough as can be. But ahh still remember getting cooked with them 🫣 lol. You win some, you lose some.

@@jpalacesneakers Weird as most haven't had issues. I'll be picking up some Friday and playing Saturday.

@Chicago_Jayhawk I got mine straight from adidas too. Enjoy Brother, to a good hoop shoe and let the sneaker God's bless your way
