Hi Guys: at 0:33 I start to talk about a memory about the blackout and the rest of the story is that I was doing a regular crew on the 41 Keele bus and was on the way home when it happened on Thurs. Aug 14/03. The next day, Friday I was able to get to work but it was very chaotic with all traffic lights out and doing 4 way stops. When I got to St. Clair Ave. W. it was very strange looking to see Streetcars dark and abandoned on the tracks. On Saturday I did overtime and operated one of the buses that were doing a Subway shuttle from Downsview to Union, it took about 2 hours to go one way, the Subway takes about 30 minutes normally. Thanks for posting the video and I was glad to share the ride with you.

Do they still give the lifetime pass golden card upon retirement? My father and grandfather got one when they retired. My father also started in 1978 "Russell car house".
