This game has me dumbfounded. I get the strategy s and the loop strategies, but i still feel like i miss some of the advanced methods to outplay human opponents. Feel like i need to play for another couple of years to get it down... what are your success rates over, say, 20 games? im near 40-50% first place, the rest of the time i get hammered... I guess i just havent gotten used to reading the board moment to moment. Any tips would be welcome. That is to say, I love the moment to moment play and the feeling of edging out a player and getting that second or first place is so awesome.
@@wayfarervisual if you're winning almost half the games, I wouldn't say you're dumbfounded at all. Your expected winrate is 25%. Anything higher than that and you're doing well.
@@Redragonclaws ahhh… so it’s really meant to be that last point, race to the finish, barely anything in between first and last, VP Tie with 3 spice difference, win outcome…. So I’m not really missing too much. Just need those advanced tips and to keep playing. And YES! To strategy guide. 👍

Ahhhh haha that 1 in 8 chance of dagger hit has been my last 2 weeks of Dune in a nutshell.
The subsequent play by Goose certainly made up for it though.... I felt ProfessorHH's pain though 😀
