- As the first video on the channel I thought I'd give one of my favourite Warhammer excerpts a go.
I'm still getting used to the recording and editing but I feel it came out okay. Any feedback is appreciated!

My first properly recorded, edited and uploaded attempt. See what you think!
If you have any tips to improve or any suggestions for future recordings, feel free to comment!
I decided on this first as it is one of my favourite 40k excerpts and it inspired me to try and do some 'fan readings' for RUclips as it were, with the aim to direct people to my Fiverr and hopefully get better whilst I do it!
That and I am a huge fan of the Sons of Dorn!
I approve of your work. My Lord Praetorian will hear of your efforts!
Seriously, great stuff! Thank you for more voice work us fans of the setting can enjoy!
@@sigismund1617 Thank you very much! Hopefully I can provide more in the future!
@@danielquintonvo All we need is you continue to enjoy your craft, working in this universe. Thanks again.
volume too low (to keep in mind for further uploads)
This I'd so fucking good like I'd pay to get this audiobook
This is much better than the audio book. They make Fulgrim sound like some sort of screeching villain. Fulgrim's voice should be smooth and almost soothing. That's the horror of Fulgrim.
Why thank you! I tend to agree on the direction for Fulgrim, I'm glad you believe I managed it!
You are correct sir.
@@danielquintonvo youre a legend, we are not worthy brother!!
Agreed
It literally describes him as shrieking you goon
When you're trying to have a super villain speech moment and *SUDDENLY SIGISMUND*
Sigismund is the perfect antidote to a villain languishing in cliché!
Thank you for watching!
Chaos marines are gangster until they see a nut case in black armor swinging a black sword
"Whats this!? It's the Emperors Champion from the top rope with a steel chair!!!"
As much as I love my vengeance for Sigismund, buddy's gonna have his work cut out for him against Fulgrim.
Ahh that he does! (DIdn't realise I'd missed replying to this comment, 9 months late but, still here aha)
Even just harming Fulgrim's physical form is a huge win for the Emperor's Champion himself!
If he wasn't The Emperor's Champion, he would be The Emporor's Hony Badger.
Very accurate! To damage a primarch too. Very few Space Marines can claim to be as tenacious, if not just ferocious!
Thank you for watching!
This. This is THE daemon Fulgrim's voice for me from now on just like TTS Magnus and Dorn are voices for me. You can imagine what he would have sound like before he got that damned sword. Smooth , soothing and kind. All of it is twisted beyond recognition now. Truly sad. Maybe we will get Clonegrim as our next returning Primarch! There is hope
Thank you very much! That is very high praise!
I do hope to get to some pre-sword, pre-deamon Fulgrim excerpts at some point too, hopefully I can follow through on the more 'normal' voice too! aha
(and absolutely, always hoping for clone-grim to show up!)
@@danielquintonvo would you do a reading of his lecturing of his sons about elevating normal humans to their levels! The one where he puts a little girl on his shoulders and chiding them for calling the populace primitives? That would be amazing! It was in his primarch book I think?
@@berilsevvalbekret772 I'm glad you said that, that is one I have recorded already, actually!
I still need to give it a listen over and edit it, make sure it is up to standard but, sooner or later, it is certain't something I will be uploading.
Clonegrim returning would blow my mind
damn Sigi is literally this greatest space marine duelist ever. Literally nobody else has just 1v1'd a Primarch and not only lived but hurt them.
Normal People: No astartees can fight a primark
Sigismund: Yoloooooooo
When I read this passage I genuinely laughed out loud. Sigi has some major hangers 😂
and that is why we love him I suppose! haha
Thank you for the comment!
Fantastic job, mate!
Thank you greatly!
Been a fan of your channel for quite a while now, couldn't ask for a better first comment!
Agree this is very good.
@@inquisitorilyaal3959 Thank you very much!
Of course I find you here..
Amazing job brother! Do the rest!!! I want to hear”Deeds are my words”in your Dorn voice!!!!
Gladly! I did really want to record more Dorn so a request to do so only solidifies that!
and, thank you very much!
I can really feel how much effort you put into voicing Fulgrim! I shriveled beneath his elegance as entrapping sweetness laced his words. I felt his annoyance and his glee. You are amazing for voice acting!
My many thanks! That means a lot to me! I did rather hope I managed something akin with Fulgrim.
and, my thanks for watching!
Truly excellently voiced. This is Fulgrim's voice for me now. Congratulations.
Thank you greatly!
I did what I could to continue that in part 2!
Ooohhh the smoooooth reverebed voice for fulcrum this is my favorite version yet Amazing job ❤️🔥🔥🔥
Thank you very much! That is quite the compliment!
Best "how dare you!" I ever heard))))
Thank you very much! I was uncertain about how I delivered that line so that is really nice to hear.
You’re my head cannon voice for Dorn now.
As a big Dorn fan, that means a lot!
My thanks!
This right here is Fulgrims voice.
Thank you very much!
Holy Moly... This is fantastic. Your Fulgrim voice is the best I've heard. It sounds just like how I imagine him talking. Same with Dorn. I imagine him being matter-of-fact about everything, and you captured that perfectly. I'm curious, did you add some kind of effect when you did Fulgrim? Either way, I would love to hear your voice doing entire 40K novels! Great job man!
Thank you very much, that would be the dream!
and indeed, there is a light amount of editing on the Fulgrim voice. Hopefully I shall be able to get to some more recordings soon!
"Mine doesn't..." ooooooooohhhh baby!
few words carry so much message.
Absolutely! I had to end it there for part 1 just because of how fantastic that line is!
Thanks for watching!
Be amazing if you did Rylanors last stand, your Fulgrim voice is on point and im interested to see how you would portray Rylanor
Keep an eye out! first part of Rylanor's last stand will be out soon.
Not sure if Rylanor is quite as much in my wheelhouse as Fulgrim, but I love that story too much to not at least give it a go!
Excellent work. This is one of my favorite and most hated passages. Something about Fulgrim doesn’t sit right with me here. He’s still a primarch, but he just doesn’t feel primarchy here. Sigismund and Dorn are spot-on.
I do sort of agree. I'm sometimes a little blinded here by my love for Dorn and his sons but I do admit it makes Fulgrim seem rather a lot weaker than I would imagine. I do think the following fight (which I uploaded as a part 2) against Dorn is a little better in regards to Fulgrim.
Thank you sir, I am a Heresy fan and I enjoy your work. Please, take no offence but I believe this part is where Fulgrim still has his normal form, he should have his normal voice here, only when he transforms into his demon form should he have the 'slithery' voice, at this point he should be talking like a stuck up, snobbish overpriveledged aristocrat.😂 Looking forward to hearing more fantastic Heresy voice overs.
@@alpharius212 Oh it wasn’t the voice over! No the original material you were working with. The voice over was great!
@@dominusnox8231 Thanks 💯 I really enjoy your work and look forward to enjoying more of your fantastic pieces!!!
Part 2 now up on the channel!
Go and take a listen!
This is AWESOME!! I hope you do more 40k stuff, you make it sound amazingly epic!
I certainly plan on it!
Certainly some more Imperial Fists excerpts, then I hope to branch out further.
If Heavy Entertainment/Black Library are hiring for new VAs, you have my vote.
Im loving these
Thank you very much!
Great work mate!!! I’m subscribed and waiting for more 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you very much!
VERY well done!
Thanks!
No, thank you! aha
Sigismund! Sigismund! Sigismund!
Beautiful~
Thank you!
I like this better than the original fulgrim here is how he is ment to be regal not some screeching maniac he is the son of the emperor afterall
Thank you very much!
The official voice actor is a very talented man but the direction he was presumably given for Fulgrim did certainly leave a bit to be desired by a number of people!
I am glad my version worked for you.
My thanks for watching!
I’d genuinely like to say your talent as a va and the work you do is absolutely incredible
Thank you very much! That does mean a lot to me!
Awesome moment!
It is indeed!
Thank you for watching
Love this
My thanks!
excellent voicover but this just shows what i dont like about how fulgrim is portrayed, id expect fulgrim to find a bitter enjoyment of the pain when getting atacked at first, and to hold his composure and theatrics, but as he is always written like a bimbo hes very cocky until atacked, then his voice starts sounding comically evil and weak and hes just like ''ew get out dont touch me'', any other primarch would have been treated with respect in this scene, but not fulgrim.
Thank you!
and, I agree, I would like to see some more variance or nuance in Fulgrim's writing.
I am an IF fan at heart so I adore this excerpt but as a fan of Fulgrim too, he doesn't come out of it looking fantastic for sure.
They’re also trying to make him sound demonic. I suspect that also played a role.
Love it👍👍👍👍
Many thanks!
Best Fulgrim voice ive heard. It would work well for Morty as well.
Thank you very much, that means a lot!
I would like to get around to the other Primarchs, Mortarion will be an interesting one to tackle!
Thanks for watching!
You need to continue!!!
Thank you!
I have now uploaded the continuation as a part 2 on the channel!
good job bro :D
Thank you very much!
Bro, you could make a living reading GW's books. I'd pay for an audio copy of Saturnine voiced by you.
I would truly love that! I am already overjoyed with the response I have here but the ability to read for them officially would be spectacular!
Thank you for watching!
I always imagine sigismund being thrown like a dart by fulgrim head first into the wall.
"Fulgrim is preparing to do dirty deeds! He's preparing to dirty deeds the wall captain! And! WHAT'S THIS?! ITS SIGMUND COMING IN WITH A STEEL CHAIR!"
Imagine lifting a cheeseburger into your mouth, only to have another cheeseburger slam into you, kicking your ass slightly
Pretty impressive that you were able to read from Saturnine for 5 whole minutes without needing to say “shitting shitters” or “He got the shit scared out of him” or something similar.
Very somber. Perfect tone for the siege to end all sieges.
Thank you very much!
that was 3 dope
Thank you!
Far better than The Black Library. Fulgrim sounds like a shrieking child in that rendition, not sure who approved/decided on that voice.
I tend to agree on the BL fulgrim voice in Saturnine. The Voice Actor is a spectacular talent I just tend to think the voice direction he was given wasn't quite what people were after!
Either way, my thanks! for the compliments and for watching!
What did we learn here. Villain monologues, not even once.
This is the possible time when the true soul of fulgrim left him or was it when he killed his brother which fabius bile made a clone which is now owned by trayzn the infinite
Its been said. But thank you for playing fulgrim as smoothe and vainglorious, not moustache twirling chain smoker. You played a fine scene. Well done
Thank you very much! I felt like I had gotten something right with Fulgrim and the comments have affirmed that and it does mean a lot to me!
and, my thanks for watching!
You have a talent, and more important, the will to create. Keep at it.
Hey, if Black Library offered you a chance to narrate a book, would you take it?
I'm working on some videos. What is it that reacts to your voice? I can not for the life of me get that to work for me.
I am currently using Veed.io for this one, it's not the most ideal solution but getting it to work smoothly is a bit of a pain, indeed.
IF content, so i have to follow the channel. Subscribe.
Awesome Job.
Thank you very much, and, of course! I'm a Son of Dorn at heart
4:42 Lol!!
Love my arrogant, tortured boy Fulgrim! haha
Nice voice.
Thank you!
What novel is this?
This is Saturnine!
Volume too low, excellent voice. Keen them coming
Agreed, I have tried to fix it in more recent videos!
Thank you!
i'm blasting volume at maximum and i can barely hear :(
I do agree, I need to sort my levels a bit. I'm still getting used to that.
I think the part 2 I have now uploaded to the channel is a little better in that regard at least.
is fulgrim a demon prince whe this happens?
He is, but he's not in Demon Prince form until a little later.
Yeah that's a fair narration voice. ruins audio books for me when the narrations shite
""I've got a much nicer one.", he drew his _long_ , single-edged sword and took it into a two-handed grip."
I fucking hate myself.
I hate how the voiceovers are so ridiculous. I get it's hard to find good voice actors for a obscure book voice-over. Primarchs are genetically "perfect" beings though they would sound close to like flowing water not like youtube nerds with aspergers (no offense asps).
