I also was awarded the feature flag for one full week whereby i had a lot of reservation bookings. I would like to apply on other platforms as well because i need more students in order to earn a reasonable amount monthly. At NATIVE CAMP i basically go on standby and wait for students to book you and its been a bit slow recently. Currently i am working according to Japans time zone so I work around the clock. Its very important that I get another platform to work on soon.
Wow thank you for sharing with us. I never knew some companies worked like that. Yeah there are some other teaching companies that are more stable. Novakid, Preply and Cambly. Try and apply for those and see how it goes. All the best 😊

I teach for itutor (turorABC) and I would never recommend it to any South African because you will be paid $3 if you are from south Africa ... their pay rate is so low and their rating system is so unreasonable as student will give you a low rating not because you are a bad teacher but maybe because you are black or they just do not like you. if a student complains about you they suspend your account, they so strict and don't care about teachers yet they pay cents.. m just teaching because I have no other option and I'm unemployed... the sooner i get something better I'm gone.

There are many Esl websites that I use to find material from. English club, VOA English learning.. and many more. Just google lessons for Esl (adults or kids) and something will pop up.
Visit some of your banks in Nigeria and find out if any of them work with Paypal. Here in South-Africa I only know of 1 bank that does Paypal and that's FNB
Another platform that doesn't require a TEFL certificate is Preply. But down side of Preply is that they take 100% commission on all your trial lessons and 30% commission for follow up lessons.

But now I'm on 7Usd per hour and have set my working hours for when it's convenient for me to teacher. Yoh I do not know. If you have a South African ID maybe idk… cause they ask you about your stuff so try your luck and let us know how it went. But what you can do is that you can try and look for companies that take people from Zim on that website…

Hi Zuri. Thank you for your insightful videos. I have been teaching for 5 years at a special needs school in a permanent position. I have a Tesol certificate and B.ed degree. I will be blunt, I can't see myself going back next year after having lost my son. Realistically, is this something I can do on a full-time basis from home? What is the potential monthly income? I know il be earning way less, but would it be decent? Decent as R10 to 15000 per month I guess.
Honestly the online teaching is semi seasonal. You can make that much money from Jan until April but after that the number of students you get goes down because people aren’t as interested in learning English as they are beginning of the year. I have no experience with teaching kids I only taught 5 and it was up and down too.. but I heard if you taught from age 4 to 12 years old you get more consistent students which means consistent income.

If you have the funds try and apply with webafrica. They will give you a router and usually you connect that directly to your laptop.
