Thank you for these videos 🫶🏻 I’m sort of stressed because I have to find an English teaching job in Japan by November but these videos are very helpful 💛
I’m glad to hear that they are helpful 💕
Got the notification while at work and downloaded the video so that I can watch it without disturbance❤️🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Awesome 🤩
Thanks so much, Bradley. This is exactly what I'm looking for! Can you please do a video showing everything about a demo lesson? Will be on the lookout.

Congratulations ❤❤ I hope I get a job there soon
@@Hairmazingdid you watch the video ?
Wow 🎉🎉love this it's so informative ❤thank you Zuri.
You are welcome 🌸🌸
@Zuri, thank you for this update. Very detailed in every light of it. You mentioned that men would not get a job for kids 1-3 years old. Considering this factor, which role or age limit do we apply for within the teaching sphere?
Thank you, for the informative videos . Please touch on family planning while teaching as an ESL teacher, that is one topic that is never addressed.
You are welcome. Can you please give me more context in what you mean by family planning?
Is there a way to have your family join you in Japan overtime?
@@ZuriAfricaprevention.. like contraceptives and stuff...
@@samueladeizamusa3153yes she did mention you can on the other video

They do have paid vacation.. but it's for 10 days, or whatever number of days are stipulated in your contract. Usually 10/11 first year..
Thank you sisi.
Cheers! Sending you all the good vibes :D
Thank you so much 😊
Please do a video on the demo
I will try my best to film one or find the one I sent to the school
Is there free education for your kids when you move to Japan? Then if your spouse is not an ALT, what other job can he do in Japan to be relevant?
You have forgotten to say Team player who can also "work" Independently.
Okay
Hi zuri…. Please can you help me with a tutorial on demo lesson for level 13-17
Hi zuri, thank you for these videos.
Is there a format for CV/Resume for ALT aspirants for foreigners??
No but in this video I shared the cv I sent to schools and I got hired 🤷🏻♀️
New sub here .. Thank you so much for the video. Very helpful!
Please which Microsoft office/word are you using?
I’m not sure about the version maybe the latest one.. my husband installs these things I don’t know anything about them.
Hi Zuri, thank you for all these detailed information. Please is it compulsory for to send my first degree transcript to the company? I'm asking because I have only my PDE and Masters with me.
Just a copy of your degree
@@ZuriAfrica You mean a copy of my degree certificate ?
First 🎉🎉
Hahah yay 🎉
Hi Zuri, So I just wanna know about the American accent talk that is going around. Is Japan also big in wanting to hire people who have an American accent?
No they don’t force you to use an American accent. So the way you speak is okay.
The curriculum is American-ish so the words are spelled the way they do in America but they don’t force you to change anything.
Can you move with your spouse and kids if you get the job in Japan
Yes
Demo lesson please
Next video… 🎉 definitely
Hello , which app did you used for your Resume ?
Microsoft word
Hello Zuri, thank you for the information. I am Mozambican, and English is not an official language in my country. However, I have been working as an English teacher for 5 years. I have experience with the Cambridge curriculum- working with grade 5, ESL, and additional tutoring. Am I eligible to apply for a job in Japan?
I genuinely have no way of knowing that. The only way you can find out for yourself is to just apply and see what they say
@@ZuriAfrica Alright, thanks.
Hi is there anyway a school could pay for my flight before getting there because financially I wont be able to afford it
I do not know about private companies. The best you could do when you get a job interview is ask them to set up some sort of arrangement where they will pay for your flight but then that means they have to take it out of your salary. So talk to them and see what they say.
Can I write it in English or I have to translate it to Japan before I send it the employer please 🙏
English
This is slightly out of your topic...is it true that broaderlink underpay their workers or it start small then you salaries increase.. because their salary is 20something
1.Business level English
2. Native level
3.Fluent level
I'm from Nigeria i creating a profile in Gaijinpot.
Please ma which one should i choose
I picked native bc I am from a native speaking country so pick the one that suits your country
Choose fluent. Nigeria is not one of the native english speaking countries unfortunately.
Kindly share tips on cover letter in gaijinpot
Hello ma'am greetings, please i am a native english speaker, do i need Telf or Tesol certificate before applying for Jobs in Japan?
If yes please can you recommend an accredited company for me to get the certificate from?
No you don’t need one but it’s always good to have extra qualifications. I made a video a month ago about the TEFL company I used
@@ZuriAfrica thanks so much ma'am Zuri
Hi guys, where can I do an affordable TEFL?
The 1 I have I did it free, so I don't think it will work.
Thank you.
I did mine with one company there are a couple on the internet that you could look at. I’m not very knowledgeable at this type of stuff because I picked one company and did mine with them.
Thank you Zuri.
Do you have a teaching degree or a major in english?? If yes, the free one is fine.
Hey Zuri can I use my TELF certificate from teacher record?
Did you pay for it? I’ve heard people use it so I’m sure you can. I don’t have information about it because I don’t do mine with them
@ZuriAfrica where did you do your tefl certificate?
