Decided to play dbd a couple weeks ago after not playing in a while. I got in a match as ghost face and it went very similar to this one, almost every one death hook but all 4 ended up escaping, I haven’t played since.
@jessepinkman876 it has alot to do with the killer tho, you played an m1 killer who has extremely little map pressure and absolutely no movement/teleport options Of course gens are gonna fly, if they see you hook someone across the map then the survivors know that they have an hour to finish gens on the opposite side
Haven't played the game in a year. I returned, played a couple hours of killer and quit. Gen perks don't do anything anymore, everybody is nerfed to high hell, and your basically forced to play the top 5 killers in the game to have a chance at winning let alone a fun time. I sometimes check in on this game and it's community to see if people have had enough but in regular fashion the community still rant about how much the game sucks but still play it every day and content creators refuse to put their foot down and tell behavior to get their shit together and give behavior money. Behavior doesn't deserve their success.
I don’t know if it’s latency or what. But it’s almost impossible to drop a pallet for me currently without getting downed. I played 5 games in a row with lagged pull downs. I just shut it off in killers face last match. What’s the deal?
I stopped playing killer years ago. I am terrible at it and can't seem to get any better. It just is not enjoyable, you have to play super sweaty to even win.

Me when I purposefully strawman. It’s not about “supposed to be easy”. It’s about literally every game with certain killers having to be a sweat fest to win.
The problem is that you have to play 10 times better than your opponents as a killer. Even if survivors are bad, they have a chance to win against a really good killer because of poor game balance. That's what happens when Devs balance for bad players instead of good ones. Also, it's true that you have to outplay survivors again and agains because most of the outplays are covered by second chances. You have to win the same game 10 times to actually get the win. Ds, Deliverance, OTR, Unbreakable and I can keep going, all this things that are not under killer's control can mess the game even if survivors are bad, because you have to waste so much time to do your objective while gens are super fast. Gens are super fast, but kills are not fast and Devs keep adding things that delay deaths (Spoiler: The solution is to make the game about hooks, but yeah that's a bad take for the majority of the community). So yeah, you have to outplay survivors again and again not because they are good, but because they are carried by perks.
@@illNicola All of the things you said are valid for survivor side too, it's not a killer vs survivor problem, it's a DBD and BHVR problem. I can play survivor, and no matter how good I play I still need my teammates to play decently, which in my case doesn't happen often. I often have to deal with shitty matchmaking where my team does nothing, and the killer is a P 100 who dominated us despite everything, now you tell me how easy it is for survivors to outplay killer. Even 4-man swfs can struggle against a decent killer, I've seen it, because I suck at killer and have beaten 4-man swfs before. Am I as good as True? No. Do I get the same lobbies as True? Probably not, but majority of my killer games are me playing against people who are far more experienced than me, so much so that I've just straight up stopped playing killer because it's that ridiculous. True is a player who literally has 10k+ hours, prides himself on being competitive, and constantly calls people "crybabies" because they complain, yet all True has done the last 7 years is complain, that's all anyone does in this community is complain, and for good reason, because the game has a lot of issues that need to be resolved. Next time True goes off on another rant about game balance, tell him to ask himself "Am I the problem?". There are problems on both sides, there are problems throughout the game, maybe instead of pointing to one side or the other, realize that everyone is having a hard time enjoying the game right now. If all things are going as intended in a match, it should be physically impossible to 4k at 5 gens, and in that same breath it should be impossible to do 5 gens in 5 minutes, but clearly a lot needs to change before that can ever happen. DBD needs changes at a fundamental level, not just buffing or nerfing perks, even if that might help slightly. Stop standing so strongly on one end of the spectrum, it's everyone's problem, and everyone is frustrated right now.

It’s feels bad to have 5 gens get done after one chase, and it also feels bad to get 4k by a p100 oni at 4 gens. If everyone invested time in playing both sides regularly and not just once in a while they would understand how it feels on both sides and ultimately stop complaining in general. You should be able to outplay survivors that’s the point. The match shouldn’t just be easy on one side or the other. Idk but i appreciate the other side because i understand the time it takes to get really good on a difficult killer for example. Same with survivor if they completely outplay me at a tile im not going to go on a rant, I just acknowledge that they outplayed me. Sometimes i even give hatch to the best survivor in the lobby. It’s not hard to appreciate both sides and recognize changes that need to be made without complaining. Instead give constructive criticism on how to improve balance without completely nagging the other side, which only spreads the toxicity that already so heavily exists within this community.

Ghost face is one of the weakest killers
@ had nothing to do with the killer and everything to do with the gens still getting done fast even tho I brought perks to slow down gens.

Update: it was 100% my ping. Though it’s been under 80, i randomly disconnected today in match. For some reason it’s like my ping is 300 or something.
