I found your channel in 2018-2019. It is 2022 and now I am giving your mixes a proper listen. Right now I am stuck at 07:36: JCB - Space And Time. I would like to say - I got goosebumps from that masterpiece. I think I will cry at some point, because honestly - I cannot take that anymore. Your mixes are the best thing I could listen to at the beginning of 2022.
I just found these mixes, and I have to say that they are possibly the best of their kind available! The lack of vocals make them great study aids too. It's also quite striking to me how much of this music predates the 2000s - it's so timeless in its sound.
I've started with Vol. 1 and have moved through and will continue on through the list but wanted to pop a comment to say: These are awesome! And I really love your images you choose and the presentation of the information at bottom left. Just really good polish all around. Thanks so much!
Ambispheric,you sure know your jungle and all the types of DnB. I became a big fan back in the 90's. I think it was such an innovative and versatile sound. I love the deep bass and synthesizer. Your mixes are Ace. I would buy them. I have a lot of music to search for and buy,I bet they are hard to find.
For me it all started one night with the first ever LTJ Bukem show on radio. Since then i started to collect all the dnb i could find because i just loved the innovative sound! Today, like most electronic and pop music, dnb turned to commercial "instant" music that i don't like and really despise. All i try here is to bring the good quality old and new dnb so i'm really very glad to read your comment. Peace Helen :D
i love drum and bass and grew up with it as early as the late 1980s when it was still very underground and being born and living in Bristol it was one of the birth places of D&B like Birmingham and London and what a fab music genre this country have given the world .. yes D&B has turned into commercial music but that just shows how good this genre is and should be proud of that . but with goldie releasing his new stuff and the all the grandfathers of D&B still performing and releasing new music just shows testament of how fantasia this music genre is :)
