    Hi, love your work. When you tone your paper, how do you get rid of the buckling before you begin drawing on it? Additionally, do you use watercolour paper for these type of pieces where you tone the surface or the stonehenge paper that you often use?

      i use arches hot pressed WC paper 300ib.
      I tape it to the board before I treat it and dry it with a hair dryer between layers and let it completely dry overnight with books on it before I remove it from the board.

      @@careyalvezartschool thanks. Do you use the gummed brown tape and if so, how do you remove it from the paper after you are done with the work?

      @@sameer3392 with this process you need good masking tape (beige color) from the hardware store because there is a lot of soaking the paper. Green painters tape will lift from the water. When you are ready to remove the tape pull it AWAY from your paper SLOWLY or it will rip your paper.
