I need a sewing machine to sew on my SS collar tabs, totenkopf diamond, LSSAH cuff title, and sleeve eagle! Can't wait. Thank you for the advice on sewing a patch, Ms! An excellent tutorial!
Thanks Anastasia! You probably didn't wake up today thinking you'd be helping some random Firefighter sew a Maltese Cross on his new jacket. I certainly didn't wake up thinking I'd spend my night watching RUclips videos on how to sew. But that's the internet for you! Very clearly explained, and by someone who at least _appears_ to be a happy person who enjoys what she's doing. Awesome! Thanks again!!
This was so helpfulincluding absolutely every step for a total novice and not assuming that I would even know to have scissors or a symbol which was necessary. The detailedinstructions on the knot at the beginning in the end are super helpful as well thank you.

I come back to this video every time I sew on a patch and I always say along with you “and that is the easiest way in the entiiiire world to create a knot at the end of your thread!” :-) thank you a times a million
Omg lol, it took me so long to get the knot. It helped to watch the video upside down, that I could just mimmic you motions. Than it worked beautifully, and seems super easy!! Thank you so much, you are lovely and this video has been extremely helpful!

I bought a little emergency sewing kit years ago to fix some pants, but now I needed to put a patch on a hat I have. I learned how to do that, and you even taught me a WAY easier way to thread a needle, than what I knew. Thanks, good video.
I just want to thank you for this video. I got some Washington Nationals patches, and wanted to make a custom hat. I did not know how to sew them on like this. Thank you so much!!! Worked like a charm!!
I've been putting off making a travel patch jacket cause I was afraid of the sewing bits, seeing this video and the fact you still respond to everything just shows how genuinely awesome of a person you are with a great teaching skillset. THANK YOU SO MUCH. can't wait to get started now.
I followed your steps & sewed patch successfully . My sewing kit is on the cheap side . I broke my needle at the eye with thimble half way through . I Got a new needle & tied the knot & continued . I had barley enough thread to tye one knot once completed so I knotted some more thread to the end of finished thread to make two more knots through the fabric & thread to secure patch . I got some good practice on that one patch . One heck of a sewing teacher you are my dear . And yes cute kitty , very cute .
Thank you so much for watching and trying out the patching technique! I'm glad it worked out for you, even with a cheap sewing kit. Keep practicing and you'll become a pro in no time!
Method definitely works. I've sewn on my first patch onto one of my favorite jackets. From my first experience my advice is use a little more thread than you think you'll need so making the knot at the end of the stitch to secure it afterwards is easier to perform. But I can't wait to keep practicing and customize my favorite garments

@@SewAnastasia I don't think they sell patches in Antarctica. That dude is lying.
Kenny Rider lol maybe he knows a hidden 💎 gem he can share with you!
Sew Anastasia lol!! I got it on the Ocean Adventurer (Quark Expeditions) after their polar plunge, but they also sell them in the gift shop at Port Lockroy (I think?) if you just happen to find yourself there! Also thanks again for the sewing tips, I’ve been throwing my bag around for almost 4 months and the patch has stayed on tight!
YOU WENT TO ANTARTICA!?!?!? Was it cool?
I've never sewn before and have been needing to put some patches on my jacket for forever now. After watching a few other videos with no luck, this one saved the day! Super easy to follow along with and works like a charm! Thank you so much!
