the wool, the sheep, the smiles, the smell of the ocean, the sound, and all the glorious people who have gathered on Shetland. Gosh, one day I hope I can make it there. Thank you so much for sharing a wee bit of Shetland through these videos. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
Thank you for sharing this! I am sad that I can't be there this year, but I am hoping to be in Shetland for Wool Week next year! I just love everything about Shetland, the sea, the lovely, lovely wool, and of course the people. I will be back there! In the meantime, I am savoring every video, photo, pattern and comment! ❤
Absolutely love your cardigan! Hopefully someday there will be a pattern? Lovely interviews! Thank you so much for these videos! For those of us who could never attend, these are making us feel a bit part of the dream of attending ❤
Loving the media available for SWW. So nice when one can't be there in person!! I suggest omitting the background music when doing interviews/conversation. Will make it easier for folks whose native language isn't english.
Thank you for sharing this Claire. I attended in 2019, just made it before Covid! Today's film helps me be there again. I can't wait to be able to come in person again. Your chats make it so personal. And yes, I too would like to know about your 3/4 sleeve sweater. :) Looking forward to more of SWW this week.
Thank you for the video. I'm loving the Bonnie Isle hat pattern. I'm about to start my third one. And Claire, I love the purple patterned sweater you are wearing in this video.
Claire, I love your cardigan. You should tell us the pattern next update. I wish I was there but this is the next best option. Thank you for inviting us all in.
@@ShetlandAmenityTrust she should definitely think about selling patterns on ralvery. I would definitely buy it. Thank you for taking the time to write back.
I see a lady in an electric mobility scooter. I’d love to know how she got to Shetland. By air? If so, how difficult was travel-getting her scooter on the airline, etc. Also, is she able to get around Lerwick and environs easily? I, too, use a mobility scooter and thought it would be impossible to travel to Shetland.
Thank you for bringing a bit of SWW to those who can't be there. Have hope to be there in 2023! Claire, I also love your cardigan. Is that pattern available?
Is the cardigan that Linda is wearing one of her own patterns? What yarn and colours did she use? Thanks for the video, so nice to feel connected for those of us from away who can't be there in person. Hopefully next year.....
Thank you 💖
Thank you for the wonderful video. I hope to come one day.
Such joy everywhere! One day, perhaps, I can come in person.
Thank you for sharing Shetland Wool Week. I so wish I could be there. I have loved it. Looking forward to tommorow's video. Bye for now. 😊👋🧶🧶🧶
Delightful. I hope to see some lace work as well as the fair isle

No pattern unfortunately, it's one of Claire's mother in law's handknits

love the 3/4 sleeve sweater Claire is wearing. Can you share the pattern?
No pattern we're afraid - it's one of her mother in law's handknits
What about the vest that Hazel Sutherland is wearing, is that from a pattern that is available?

I think that is the Gotland sweater pattern from last years sww annual. It is beautiful in the red
@@debbiechisholm8152 Thanks for your reply, but it's the purple, 3/4 sleeve cardigan I was interested in.
This is one of Claire's mother in law's knits - and there's no pattern that we know of

I would like to know more about Linda's cardigan, too! It's very beautiful.

@@ShetlandAmenityTrust Oh that's too bad, but thanks for letting me know.
❤
Where can I buy a beenie like Olivers please.
It's the Bonnie Isle hat - designed by Linda Shearer. The free pattern is on the Shetland Wool Week website
