CAMC SALISBURY HILLSIDE | Tour & Review June 2023 | Caravan & Motorhome Club Campsite

In this video, we show you around the Salisbury Hillside CAMC (Caravan & Motorhome Club) Campsite, which is just outside Salisbury in Wiltshire (around a 15-20min drive).
It's in the countryside on the A[ ], look out for the Phipsons car garage and you'll see the turning for the site. Its location made it generally peaceful, although I am pretty sure I heard some distant helicopters and maybe even tanks!
The welcome I received was genuinely friendly and the lady helpfully pointed out the free pitches which would be closest to the facilities block, as I was in my van. This is worth knowing as it's quite a sloping, large site and the facilities block is right at the top - a fair walk if you're staying on one of the lower levels.
Pitches are mainly amongst the trees - there was dappled sunlight when I stayed but I guess there's a risk they might be dank in poor weather.
Facilities were clean and very quiet - not a single other person came in while I showered and got ready in the morning.
The site is well kept, with herb garden and beautiful flowers.
There's a gate to a pleasant dog walk immediately next to the site, which made a nice stroll even though I didn't have the furries with me.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I would go back, although I think I'd want to stay on the upper level again, simply to have easy access to the facilities and because it was slightly sunnier there - just personal preference though.
