I hope for the next DLC pack they surprise us like they did for MK11. I enjoyed the time when everyone was speculating what character is coming next. I don’t like seeing the DLC characters and we can’t play them yet.
Something interesting I noticed at 3:55 is that if both characters hit each other at the same time, neither one gets first hit bonus meter. I never thought about that.
He understands the science within the game of how combos are strung together. As far as the inputs for the special moves and stuff, I'm sure he warms up with the character before he records. Once he's got all of those down, he has an advanced understanding on how those moves can be put together in a combo string
MK1 is literally the first fighting game I’ve ever gotten into and I’ve learned every character to a certain extent! It seriously just takes practice. I also do a lot of studying. I didn’t even know what “plus” or “minus” meant before playing 🤣
@@looneyjay I’ve played mkx and 11 but I’ve actually been trying to learn on this MK 1. Before I’d just basically play the AI and learn a couple simple combos but it’s a different beast trying to string combos together and learn how to play people that don’t just stand there (like the AI) lol. I mostly play fps games and it’s a completely different set of skills required

His down one is 9 frames!! You need to spend all of your resources to keep up or even get some decent damage wit him. I’m not saying make him brain dead like Peacemaker or Kung Lao or Raiden or whatever, but give him a little more freedom. His projectiles are the slowest and easiest to counter/punish in the game and he’s supposed to be a zoning character! Pleaseeeeee BUFF Quan
What I think is if you like mk 11 you will love mk1 . And it's time to accept that . If you like the older games like x and 9 it's time to move on and accept the new generation and the direction nrs is going and that is mk11 style with kameos. Hard truth so if your hoping for big core changes after ermac or for the future like changes to meta of poke poke grab poke d1s etc. This is our future now for mk. "This is the New Era"
