Hi there! a really nice tutorial! Tried to follow your steps and flash my five HC05 Chips with some new Software, but none of them can be flashed...because Blueflash 2.4. can't connect to the chip. Did you run into the same Problems....or can you connect to every HC05 Module and flash the software?
"I haven't had a parallel port for years" But you have so much MIDI stuff laying around... I have computers as recent as 2018 with a parallel port built in! You can get cards to add them to any machine, and they come in USB flavors too. What with all the driver changing and system modification that needs to be done, it almost feels like a $17 PCI Parallel card off eBay would be the better solution Also, those wireless SNES controllers were released here in the USA too, along with wired versions of the same controller.
that goes against the spirit of piracy
;)
NOTE: CSR was acquired by Qualcomm and no longer provides the software (please reply here if you found it) :-)
Did you find the software?
Can it works with a CH340 breakout board instead of an FTDI?
thanks for making this video! that's really helpful. I look forward to your next project!
I wired everything correctly and blueflash says "Error detecting chip type (Unable to start read (invalid control data))."
I'm facing the same problem. Could you solve it?
Use the 0.5.1 csr spi ftdi driver version instead of the new one
Need hex file for attiny2313
Awesome video. Could you do an update video of this to maybe make an Bluetooth Atari style joystick

everything you do is lovely. BTW this device is being used in the Phillips BT7500B/12 that I own, can't wait to hack it!
