This is an awesome project MayMay. I could see one of these for every holiday/occasion. Love the paper. I have a bizillion patterned papers but so many of them are single sided. I'll have to look for all my double sided ones that might not be from a paper pack but yet goes well together. Thank you for all your tutorials for the great projects you make. We appreciate them and you.
You made this look so easy! It was a little harder for me, but I am more of a scrapbooker. But, I didn’t give up, and it came out pretty good. Thanks for a great video!
Great idea and really festive. I can also see an individual cone being used to hold a napkin and cutlery at each place setting or as a sleeve for a treat (candy or popcorn) filled cone shaped plastic food bag.
This is TOO ADORABLE for words! I've loved cone wreaths, but I think I love this one even more! I can picture a smaller one, maybe using 4x4 squares. I think I'm going to try it! I can see some sort of glitter paper goodie on each cone, to match the theme.. ie., glitter orange pumpkins on this one, glitter snowflakes on a Christmas one... would be especially easy if a person had dies for the cutout you want to use. Just love this and now I want to go right now and make one! Thanks so much!
I Love this!! I have Thanksgiving paper that is a little fancier than I usually choose that I bought online. I've already cut it down to 6x6 to make some cards. Some cut aparts are 2 1/4" scalloped circles that I wasn't sure what to do with (we don't do large gatherings that we'd need placecards for). This wreath answers several of my questions about this pad. Thank you, Maymay!!
Gorgeous wreath. Using 6x6 paper is pretty large! I think the buttons would be super cute but I also thought a cute pumpkin on each cone staple would be cute. Love your bow and brad that you used. Thanks Maymay.
In the fabric version it's called the Fold N Stitch Wreath..... I've made several of them. I'm excited you figured out how to do it with paper ! I can't wait to try making one YAY !
I’m so in love with this. Love the idea of one for a hospital door of a new baby. I have never heard of that but I will be doing it now. I just love fall. I’m digging out my fall paper packs. ❤️
Just Judy Crafting make sure you find out if door decorations are allowed. I worked as a postpartum nurse and our hospital did not allow it because of fire codes
OOOOOhh, I like this so much. I have been wanting to make one of the fabric ones, but my sewing machine broke and have not replaced it as I hardly use it anymore. I like the way this paper one looks and am going to try this. Thanks for the idea Maymay and Shannon. I never even thought of trying this with paper.
I think this would make a really cute serving tray at work or a party. Take something like a slice of pumpkin pie, a pastry, pumpkin brownie, or maybe pumpkin/choc/mint bark (like Christmas bark) after you cut it into a wedge shape & slide it into the little slots (on top of a doily to protect the paper). You could either glue all slot-pockets down as demonstrated or maybe just display them in the shape of the wreath unattached so each person could take the slice with them. :D
I think using just the top half of the cones would make great turkey feathers. Then you could cut out the body/head of a turkey and glue it in the middle.
Love you videos! Do you have a date in mind that the holiday planner will be available?! My mom and I do a whole craft day each year and scrapbook your amazing planner ❤️
I was thinking along the same lines. Stampin' Up! has designer series paper called Follow Your Art. It has all kinds of crafting supplies on it and I think it will be perfect. I'm going to make a wreath for our quarterly luncheon meeting on Saturday using it.
I.LOVE.THIS!! Can’t wait to see the sunflower. My aunt in Kansas would love one as a gift. Poinsettias at Christmas!! NOW FOR MY QUESTION: IF YOU USE A CORNER ROUNDER AT THE TOP OF EACH PETAL, WOULD THE CHIPBOARD BACKING SHOW?
I absolutely love this wreath!!! I always make wreaths for my mom. Have you tried to make one smaller then the 5 1/2” square??? Also for the 5 1/2”square do you still need 13 double sided sheets??? I’m getting ready to make my mom one for thanksgiving. Thank you so much for sharing this project.

Thank you so much for explaining things in a way for anyone to do.
I didn't have reversible paper, so I just glued to 6X6 papers to make my own.
Super cute! I really like the contrast of the square in the middle.
Oh I love this.... will be fun for Easter!!!

I made one of these last year at Christmas and gave it to my MIL. She loved it! I got the idea from a fabric wreath pattern I had.
Great idea and really festive. I can also see an individual cone being used to hold a napkin and cutlery at each place setting or as a sleeve for a treat (candy or popcorn) filled cone shaped plastic food bag.
Another wonderful project. Excellent start to finish tutorial. Thank you! Wishing you May May and your entire team a super week, Hugs Susan

You can totally use artificial flowers or autumn leaves to hide the staplers.Adding LED lights would be awesome too!

Is it OK if you don't have double sided paper.
Just an FYI... I don't see the circle templates on your blog. Did I miss them somewhere?
