My mom didn't save for her retirement. She's 66. Raised two families on her own. No help from our fathers. Me and my toddler left my spouse. So told my mom lets leave California and go back home to Florida together. We got a 34' RV to live in and move home in. I don't care that I'm 30 living with my mom with my son in a RV. Families are supposed to stay together. My son is so happy having us all together like this. He absolutely loves living in the big bus. That's what we call it. I love living this way. I feel so much stress and worry just gone! Never worry about being homeless anymore. Love it.
My father has a trailer on 12 acres of land that is surrounded by the Sumter national forest and boarders a lake with a 1200 miles shoreline. I was living in Atlanta and wanted to get out of a large city. My mother also thought piano lessons and had about 30 students. I got an emergency call about my mother being in a severe accident. We both could not understand why God would allow this. My mother went to my sisters house after I had taken my mother to 6 months of physical therapy in Atlanta. 6 months later my dad asked if I would like to move permanently to his 12 acres and trailer. I said yes because I love it here. My mother was not happy at my sisters. I asked if she wanted to come live with me. She did and both of us now understand the wreck now. If she had not had the wreck we would still live in Atlanta instead of living on 12 acres and a nice trailer. God is Good!
Hi Joseph. I'm sorry you lost your wife. God bless you and keep you. One day at a time with the Lord helps me get through each day. I pray God's abundant blessings on you and your loved ones and give you His peace each day.
I'm watching this incredible testimony in 2021, to God's goodness, despite all the hardship you have had to endure, He has been there with you all the way. May He bless you richly.
Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't, maybe it was their fault, maybe it wasn't, maybe it was the GOVERNMENT, maybe it was life getting too good. Adversity makes for strong people. The simple easy life makes for weak people. They are together, they are accepting, they are strong. We all go thru hoops. All different. They wouldn't want my problems. I wouldn't want your problems. In the end it's the peace you feel when you say to yourself I lead a good life. Life was good and I am proud to say I did the best I knew how.
Came across your story by accident, sorry, God never causes accidents. He knows I needed to hear your story. So, thanks for sharing your hardships and your victories. May God bless and keep you. Many lessons learnt here. Much to think over about the future, and how we plan to live what Scriptures describe re coming events. Love you guys! Argentina may be long distance away, but we are one in the Spirit! Heaps of blessings.

Bill is an incredibly talented man. It doesn’t seem to matter what part of the construction process it is, he knows how to do it. The journey you have been through is incredible.
"I didn't know that I would become wealthy by losing everything". that is truly an amazing statement, I get that what it means is that you've never been happier😊
When you don’t have debt it makes you free. Being free makes us rich! There are plenty of things money cannot buy! If you are rich it can make you comfortable, but you can still be miserable!
I like to borrow this quote you have stated, it's so true and with trusting our precious Lord Jesus Christ fully, we already have everything in Him. AMEN
@@SissyKay Me too ~ this is much like what we have gone thru, but actually not nearly as stressfull (except our marriage which did disintegrate after 25 years).... and it's a huge blessing to see how God provided in their more serious emergencies! I feel even more blessed now after watching what these two have gone through! I feel more prepared for what we expect to be happening in the near future as we keep watching foretold events taking place! This is such a wonderful reminder to make certain our 'tithe-plus' is 'returned'
One rule I've always lived by is ...Never Take Anything For Granted. Be it your health, job, finances, home, material possessions, a loved one. Life can change in a heartbeat.
I gust love the to of you l in a bad place with live at moment l am being strong yesterday l fond yous puting in that little log fiers anf it mad me so happy l going to by one put it in for this winter as gets very cold in my van and l have relly bad helth problems yous will never now how much yous made me feel so much better all my love from Scotland
To tell your story with zero bitterness or playing the victim card is so inspiring. I can’t help feel some shame for my attitude during some of my trying times…..thank you for helping me see a little clearer
I am in a bedroom with my husband in our sons apartment. My husband lost his job after 38 years, we used all his retirement to buy a home, that long it's value within one year. We have lost everything, but we h ave God and our faith. Thank you for sharing.
When you have the Lord you have everything because then the whole kingdom is inside of you and He is all in all trust me that's all you need...God bless you
Apostle Paul wrote to the family @ Thessalonica..LETTER # (II) "AFTER YOU HAVE SUFFERED A LITTLE WHILE, HE (God) WILL MAKE THE WAY OUT FOR YOU" get & stay debt FREE! "Neither a lender nor a borrower be" yet " GIVE FREELY" 💞 PSALMS 37:10 11 & 29 YHWH BLESS
We sold my mom's home after she died-we were living with her and caring for her because she couldn't take care of herself .Then we moved to another state to live with my MIL since she told us she didn't like living alone and my hubby felt like he needed to take care of her - but that wasn't the case🤷she was quite capable of doing for herself and to end this story- she didn't want us there after a year because of the virus- she lived in constant fear for herself and us- so we are now homeless - my hubby in another state helping his sister and I'm helping my daughter with new baby so I still have a place to live and I'm so grateful- we are trusting God to help us as He always has and does🙏🙏🙏
I just found your channel earlier today. I watched every minute of this, and I'm trying to type this through tears (not easy for a 45 year old man to admit). You have worked so hard for so many years, and your story is so amazing and both sad and joyous at the same time. I look forward to watching more of your videos. You are such a sweet couple. And yes, you have wealth greater tthan money could ever provide. I hope you both are still holding hands in your beautiful little home well into your 90s and still enriching our lives with your warmth. Peace and best wishes from Ireland.
I don't know why I stumbled onto your story. I'm so glad I did. Both of you are such a good witness for God, our Lord and Savior, this shows just what happens when we let Him do the driving. Happy New Year!
I watch this video about once a year. It’s maintenance for my attitude. I’m 43 and my husband and I have two young children - we just paid off all of our student loans last fall, and are now paying $200 extra each month towards our 15 year mortgage. I have been with you both since your early RUclips years and you have helped our family change our entire paradigm. Thank you and God bless.
I am smiling... You sit there, clearly "down and out" but praising God as if you have your celestial mansion already, as if you are so privileged to have the King of Kings for a Father... No worldling can do this! Only a child of the Most High can understand this.😇
Thank you for sharing your story. It is not an easy thing to be so frank in a public forum, not to mention reopen some painful points in your past. But you guys have given testimony to the power of faith, the strength of human resilience, and a personal history I will most certainly not soon forget. God bless you both, and may you always have days of light and love!
Thank you so much for sharing your story. My husband and I went through very similar storms, and at the end, he became very ill and I lost him too. I'm a widow now, living on a very limited income and have been thinking about RV or tiny home living, and prepping, which led me to your video. My hope now burns a little brighter. Thank you again and God bless you both. Much love from California.
Cathy Perez I am in the same situation. Raised 3 with 6 grandchildren. Worked 22 years. Now on disability from spinal surgery. I want to scream some times - Never judge!!
My husband and I were almost wiped out in 2009 from the same circumstances. God was faithful to us as we remained faithful to him. It took us 4 years to restore our credit - but we just bought another house 3 months ago. God is good to His children!
Thank you for sharing your story. You've opened my eyes to how folks who DO work hard and "do all the right things" can end up in scary situations. It's very humbling. I'm glad things have worked out for you .... blessings to you both!
2008 was tough times, my dad was laid off with no severance package after working 25 years for GE. He lost everything. We struggled, had to eat at shelters at times. I moved to Alaska and pulled myself out. It was hard. You guys are a sweet couple, keep it up:) I'm planning on creating a camper-van to live in while I pay for school. Loosing everything gives you huge perspective on what it important
Bill and Elizabeth, you two look so cute together... when you guys look at each other. can tell that you guys love each other. very much God bless you!!
What an amazing story. It’s truly a miracle that you weren’t homeless. And now you have a cozy, quaint, livable home - and an opportunity to help others. I’m glad I found you. 😊😊😊
What an interesting and blessed story. The Lord works in mysterious ways. And he always comes through at the last moment or actually right on time. AMEN,AMEN.
Hi Bill and Elizabeth, thank you for your courage, honesty and courage producing this video for the benefit of the community. You are giving me hope that there is a reason for me to be alive (Disabled Veteran) and that life is worth fighting for. May Peace be with you, have a nice Holidays, Ciao, L (from Maine)
Surely you realize that your story has given soooo much inspiration to those who are facing hardship, right this moment, are depressed and ready to give up. You have been a witness to how faith in God and yourself, will see you through.
Bless your hearts! We also learned harsh realities in the 2008 crash. We lost our semi and trailer and eventually lost our home and rental that we were paying mortgages on. We decided to move from Minnesota so we searched Missouri and found a small acreage to buy. My husband did find a job driving truck before we moved and was able to keep that job even after moving down here. Pinching pennies and following Gods guidance, we were able to pay our small place off in 16 months. We know that God brought us to this small acreage as if it wasn’t for Him, we wouldn’t have found it. I stay home now and take care of our place and raise chickens for meat and eggs. Life is good on a strict budget!
Diversified Acres Homestead you both were definitely Blessed by God. it's been hard on alot of people but prayers and God answers prayers.bless you both.
Thank you for sharing your story! Thank you for giving our Great and Gracious, Loving God the credit! Thank you, Jesus, for taking care of this wonderful couple.
I love this video and how much you care for one another and made a bad situation work, one that I realize any one of us could wind up in. Refreshing to see a tiny house video based out of necessity not because it's a trend. Thumbs up and sub.
this couple are blessed, they have been together for 38 years with lots of ups and downs , an their still together, reminds me of my marriage, also 38 yrs accepted i went on dissibility 15 years ago and my wife is now the bread winner, but through a good accountant was able to reclaim $ 15,900 in tax credits from 2002 - 2008 tax free money to put toward our living costs.
Why is it nice to see because of hardship and not because "they just wanted to?" And if you guys would tax your churches and have Universal Healthcare and more social programs you wouldn't have ended up in such a mess to start with. It's not "god", it's a messed up social system and government and people who are too capitalistic. Everyone has love, commitment and goes through hardship. Four mortgages and bankruptcy was all part of a "god's plan?" Wow.
Thank you for sharing. I basically have gone through the same perdictament. My husband passed away and I wound up losing everything. Currently living in a motel. But thank goodness my disability finally went through. So I am thinking of buying an RV, but everyone is telling me don't do that you won't like it. I believe the Lord is leading me to that decision.
Ive been living in a camper for 2 years after the place i was living was flooded. Theres less 2 mess = less 2 cleanup. Occasionally i wish i had a little more room for like a freezer or washing machine but its ok. Figure if flood comes again (have lost home twice d/t floods) i could get someone 2 pull.this camper 2 drier ground
You will love it l live in my van after being together for a long time l was 13 when meet him our oldest child is 34 and l love being in mine all the best to all you lovely people
This is my first time viewing y’all, and I love your story. We too were in construction when that hit and now my husband and I are long haul truck drivers, we team drive. We sold everything except what we could fit into a storage building in his mom’s back yard and moved on a big rig. That was 7+ years ago. I’m sitting in a truck stop in Washington state right now waiting to pick up a load later today and head back home to Georgia. We’ve seen God move and make ways for us that we just couldn’t have imagined. He is so good and so faithful, He loves us so much more than we deserve. I have no doubt that God will continue to bless y’all, of course, He will never leave us or forsake us! Thank you Jesus! :)
After our construction business collapsed, I drove for Swift for 8 years. One year OTR, then 7 years dedicated. But now I've discovered You Tube, and two years ago I was able to quit driving because of our You Tube income. :-)!
So sorry to hear all this, a lot of people lost in 2008 and were faced with the same struggles as you. I wish you both well and always smile, always think positive. Bless you.
I also would save a little money and then something would happen. I was whining one day to my brother and he told me sis, you need to thank God that you had money to fix things. Praise God!
You have the true riches of life - faith in God, peace in your heart and the love you have for each other. That's more than alot of people have. True riches of life.
How refreshing to see a couple so dedicated to one another and to making their life work no matter what obstacles they encounter. Thanks for sharing your story.
Amazing Grace from our Lord! God is good, he does take care of his children. Like my husband and I, you too are rich in simple things. God Bless you both.
I am so grateful that after 4 years this incredible, powerful video is still on RUclips. What an extraordinary testimony of a loving, caring, compassionate Heavenly Father working through two of the nicest, kindest and most courageous of God's children.Thank you so much for the great wisdom, common sense and good judgment you are sharing with your life story. We need this kind of encouragement every day! Thank you so much! You two are very blessed and to boldly put your testimony out for thousands to see is one powerful ministry. We all need to be praying for the 239 people who hit the thumbs down!! They are missing out on the true peace and joy you openly demonstrate. May God continue to shower you with His grace and favor!!!
I’m going through a rough patch, and I’m so thankful for your testimony. I’ve had many God moments an I’m grateful for the lessons and the grace he’s gifted me. Thank you for the inspiration. God bless🙏🏽💖
God is so good and I thank you for reminding me of that. I've seen Him work exactly like this in my life over and over. I have no idea how I ended up watching this video but I thank you both for making it.
Listening to your story reminded me of all the times the lord would bless us when we prayed for help when we were in dire need of financial help, and extraordinary things would take place and the exact amounts of money we would need for our bills would come through. It made me cry when I heard your story because I am so thankful for the Lords blessings and knowing he walks with us every day. You two are a lovely couple and its very apparent that you have a very special love for each other and for the Lord.
Wow. What a story. Thanks. It makes me so grateful for living in the UK. We didn't suffer as much from the crash as you guys and we have free health care.
This video came at the perfect time in my life. I'm a single mother of 3 children who just decided to sell my home to downsize. It's a huge process as well as depending on God to provide just what we need at the exact moment. I'm in debt above my head..yet still give thanks to God for a roof over my kids heads, and a mom who works hard everyday. God is so Great and loving. ❤ Bless the both of you🥰 Happy retirement and health🙏🙏🙏
What a motivational story, your story increased my faith in the Lord. God Bless and may the Lord Bless you. You are rich in your faith which is more important than anything in this world.
God bless you both. My husband and I have a similar story. We had a foreclosure and lost everything during the crash and a few years later were miraculously able to buy a home. Through amazing grace, we had to invest $500 period. Reading the comments it is obvious that many Christians have gone through similar experiences. God provides for His own and will be with us until the end. God is so good and faithful.
This is a great story of love, faith, and determination, in every way. Having multiple homes and properties sounds impressive, but you can only live in one home at a time. The rest becomes a burden. Whatever you have, no matter how big or small, must be maintained. Even a single pair of socks has to be washed! This couple has reaped tremendous rewards for their faith in God and each other.
I discovered your channel a few days ago looking for cinderblock garden beds. I was pulled into your channel by your spirit. Tonight, I wanted to learn more about your previous tiny house. I can not think if a more appropriate video to watch on Easter Sunday. Your message was God always provided during struggle and God knows what we need before we do. Thank you for sharing your life and sharing God's word.
I stumbled into your life today, and now you are a part of mine. It was heartwarming to hear your story and I thank you for sharing. Every word that you used to exalt the pure love that God has for us all is the truth by which I also live. Bless you both. Your story is inspiring and I also really love DIY fixer upper things so the tiny home project is very interesting to me.
Thank you for sharing and God Bless. During this lockdown you will feel even more blessed because you can weather it better that most others. For the past 15 years God taught me to live out of a 45lbs suitcase - im so tight for space that if I buy a new shirt I need to throw one out. I also mostly eat once a day not because I don't have money but because I only eat when I'm hungry. Most of us have too much junk and eat too much because we see or smell food. Wastefulness and gluttony are traits of poor stewardship. You have shown you can be happy with less. Thank you again.
I watched and listen to you guys speak and I love how honest you both are. I worked starting at 15 yrs of age. Worked hard everyday because that was how I was raised. After marriage and children became homeless. People believe they know but have no idea how life can change for you and the purpose is always clear after you go through where God leads you. Now my life is in Jesus Christ. I now live simple and free. By the way all the children now are grown. I am 65 now. I am a great grandmother and never believed I would see this. Thank you for your videos and more than that your honesty. God bless you both.
Thank you so much for sharing your story. Over the past year my husband and I have been going through very similar and stressful circumstances. But, as with you, every time we get to the very point of desperation the Lord steps in and gives us just enough to keep us going. We have only what we need and honestly we see now that it is ALL we need. And like you, we are so grateful for it. I love your videos and am so glad you let us all get to know you better by being so open.
I just discovered you and you are impressive. I love how you tell your story, stories. You are an example of a solid couple, we dont see that a lot anymore. You are courageous in the personnal storm you had to confront but you are doing it well. You are an example for all of us. Thank you.
Six years later I watched one of your shows when you moved into the tiny trailer. I started watching you about 5 months ago and watched you with the house in florida. I'm 79 in 18 days and I so enjoyed your testimony. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. I'm a single woman who has been single for 40 or 42 years. And I have learned as Paul said I have learned to be happy with much and I've learned to be happy with little. And I praise God that you shared with people that you tied even when you didn't think you could afford it. I'm on Social Security and I won't go into my story but suffice to say my savings is not great anymore. But I give God his tithe and give as he leads me and I can truthfully say I am not begging for bread and I have a roof over my head. And I feel I have God's firewall around me protecting me. God bless you and I am so glad that I found you on youtube. I'm going to be contacting you soon about thrive.
The two of you are simply amazing and your love and respect for each other is evident! God smiles as He watches you both and I love how you credit him for all you have been through and have now. This was inspiring to watch and hear!
My story is so similar to yours. I had a very successful real estate business that I lost during that time too. I had literally zero income for one full year and was a single mom with two young boys. I went from owning a beautiful house and a vacation house plus 5 rentals to nothing over a period of seven years. It was quite the journey. Somehow God provided every single step of the way. God bless you both for being so faithful and resilient.
I Needed to hear/see this today. My husband lost his job due to the Covid-19. He is about 10 years from from retiring. We thought our life was all planned we have our place with a bit of land paid for and had a 401K that we were building and thought things we all set. Our 401K has been hit hard of course and while I know many are facing the similar situations. I appreciated you talking about thinking every time you were able to save some money it seemed like something happened. My worry was/is I need a couple of surgeries and now we not only don't have insurance we're not sure where we will end up. I needed to hear your stories of God providing over and over. Thanks for sharing and know that God has used your story in our life to remind us that he is ready and willing to provide for us.
Boy, this proves we need everyone covered by healthcare! No one in a rich country like ours should be without adequate healthcare. Sure hope this issue is faced and remedied in the coming future. I wish all of you the best at this challenging time!🥰❤️
An incredible story ,such faith, such tenacity. Glad I found yr channel starting with the rocket stove! Thanks for yr sharing yr joys and trials. Blessings 🙌
God is great all the time! "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." - Psalms 33:12 just because someone is of a different opinion doesn't mean God doesn't exist. The Lord loves everyone, it's on them to except Christ and want a relationship with Him.
Wow, just wow, what an incredibly sad, incredibly happy, incredibly amazing story. It is true that God will help those that learn to help themselves, also never losing faith and hope can results in amazing ends to a story or beginning lol. Love you both and yes living debt free and not being of materialistic heart and mind is food for the soul. 🤗 Have a great day Elizabeth and Bill.
You know, in the crash of 2008, up in Canada where I am from we were somewhat untouched by it (due to stricter regulation and what not regarding mortagages and loans, ect) By my spouse worked for a company that built luxury grade Windows that catered to the American market. The company laid off 2 thirds of its workers including my spouse, who had worked his way up to a decent wage in the 5 years he was there. It was awful. He found work again, but it was much different hours that we had to work around childcare for our four kids (I work part time) and it was less money. But eventually we did recover and bounce back. We watched on the news all those Americans struggling to eat and living in tents it was heartbreaking. Good for you guys for being so resourceful and, above all, happy. Your story warms the heart.
That just goes to show how interdependent we all are with this global economy. I'm glad to hear that you bounced back. I believe that if any ONE major economy collapses (like the US or the European Union) we will have a world-wide economic collapse. Any that's very possible, even probable, with all the debt that most nations are now carrying. That's why we are preppers.
Tinyhouse Prepper One more thing, Elizabeth has the most soothing voice. I find it very therapeutic watching your videos and listening to her talk. It's kind of silly, but I thought I'd let you guys know.
Erato IsYourMuse Erato IsYourMuse It's not at all silly, EIYR. It's simply endearing. A wonderful twosome who are drawing us all in with their love and wholesome perspective. It's like a super group hug we dare not disengage from. Feels too good to let go...
I found this video entirely by accident but it was a huge blessing to me... I never planned to watch the entire thing but your testimonies were so enthralling that it was over before I knew it. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with all of us - God bless you and keep up the good work! : )
Hello from San Antonio,Texas! How interesting this story of your life is.Remember the saying"When one door closes ,another door opens"I have found that saying so true in my life.
WOW. What a story. I am so happy you guys hung in there and trusted in the Lord to provide what you needed. I love the videos and learned from them. Will watch all of the other videos of your progress and the gardens of course!!
Thank you for such an inspirational story! I'm 57 and am trying to get my husband to start downsizing, and getting out of debt. but he's just not there yet. I'm working on the stuff that he is not concerned about (kitchen, my personal items, knick knacks, etc), but it's still a process. Some days I want to just give up, but then I hear another story from another successful couple, and it gives me the encouragement I need to continue. Thank you so much!
I loved the birds singing! Had just thought how wonderful it was, what a beautiful pleasant place! Then when you went inside & were saying you had to come inside because the birds were over doing you all talking! Lol
Love it.
Its a good thing that you are supporting your mum its so adorable may God bless you and increase you in Jesus name
@Kaptain Kid you're funny
timechanges everybody that’s the way family should be. That’s the way it used to be decades ago.
FAMILY IS EVERYTHING CUZ FRIENDS WILL LEAVE U WHEN U R DOWN & OUT!
At least you have each other my wife passed in July left me with a 1880 sq ft house on the lake. If i could have her back i take her & a tent.
Hi Joseph. I'm sorry you lost your wife. God bless you and keep you. One day at a time with the Lord helps me get through each day. I pray God's abundant blessings on you and your loved ones and give you His peace each day.
joseph keeney I am so sorry for your loss Joseph. I understand your pain. Please know you are being prayed for, and that God is watching over you🙏
my prayers are with you my friend
😢
@joseph keeney Aw, Sweetie. I hope it's getting a bit easier as time passes. Merry Christmas, I hope your holiday is full of family, love and Jesus.
I'm watching this incredible testimony in 2021, to God's goodness, despite all the hardship you have had to endure, He has been there with you all the way. May He bless you richly.
" God's goodness ". ???
Did he have no responsibility for their problems, then?
Love you two
Many BLESSINGS 🙌🙏 MAY YOU ENJOY YOUR LIFE TOGETHER ❤ GOING FORWARD 🙏
May the Lord continue to bless you both. I found this by chance and it was inspirational. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤️

"I didn't know that I would become wealthy by losing everything". that is truly an amazing statement, I get that what it means is that you've never been happier😊
To have ever thing, you have to give up everything. I think it's a quote from Confucius
This is the WAY
When you don’t have debt it makes you free. Being free makes us rich! There are plenty of things money cannot buy! If you are rich it can make you comfortable, but you can still be miserable!
I like to borrow this quote you have stated, it's so true and with trusting our precious Lord Jesus Christ fully, we already have everything in Him. AMEN
I am going to go back and watch every previous episode of your’s , you two are truly amazing people !
That's what I'm doing too, as I just discovered them today. I hope they are making some good income from their RUclips!
@@SissyKay Me too ~ this is much like what we have gone thru, but actually not nearly as
stressfull (except our marriage which did disintegrate after 25 years).... and it's a huge blessing to see how God provided in their more serious emergencies! I feel even more blessed now after watching what these two have gone through! I feel more prepared for what we expect to be happening in the near future as we keep watching foretold events
taking place! This is such a wonderful reminder to make certain our 'tithe-plus' is 'returned'

PaulMichaels2010 love is everything.
Walked away from your debt. Got a grant. Eady driving. Then 10k back at you. Why complain.
PaulMichaels2010....true their story is amazing and I wish the same for both of them long life is their portion in Jesus name
Jim Serrano .....they aren’t complaining, they are grateful !!!
And they weren't too full of pride to admit what they needed to do!! And was happy & thankful!!
That makes us very happy! 😀
What an amazing and humbling story ... one of your greatest blessings is that you have each other and are not alone........Bless you both x
I am smiling... You sit there, clearly "down and out" but praising God as if you have your celestial mansion already, as if you are so privileged to have the King of Kings for a Father... No worldling can do this! Only a child of the Most High can understand this.😇
I don’t see them as “down and out”! I see God’s goodness!
Yes...well said...Bryan Wicks...I will not forget their story any time soon either!

I didn't think I would watch this whole thing but I did. Very inspirational video, thank you for posting and sharing your story.
Thank you for posting this! There's A LOT OF WISDOM here!
I love you guys ,You two are so inspiring, and adorable” I pray God continues blessing you two.
If you're looking for the REAL God of the universe these two know him! Not a phony bone in their bodies! i LOVE these two!! Thank you guys!
I raised 3 children and now have 6 grandchildren. I worked all of my life, and am now disabled. Be careful how you judge people.
Cathy Perez I am in the same situation. Raised 3 with 6 grandchildren. Worked 22 years. Now on disability from spinal surgery.
I want to scream some times - Never judge!!
Best wishes to you. I’m trying to find a piece of land to share with fellow van dwellers.
Hugs 🤗.
My husband and I were almost wiped out in 2009 from the same circumstances. God was faithful to us as we remained faithful to him. It took us 4 years to restore our credit - but we just bought another house 3 months ago. God is good to His children!
Yes, He is.
Thank you for sharing your story. You've opened my eyes to how folks who DO work hard and "do all the right things" can end up in scary situations. It's very humbling. I'm glad things have worked out for you .... blessings to you both!
What a smart and courageous couple. Wow!
True wealth and happiness has nothing to do with money.

2 people in a single wide trailer and they seem happy.
God Bless you all. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I love this video and how much you care for one another and made a bad situation work, one that I realize any one of us could wind up in. Refreshing to see a tiny house video based out of necessity not because it's a trend. Thumbs up and sub.
robwas
robwas I know, right? I was just thinking that!
this couple are blessed, they have been together for 38 years with lots of ups and downs , an their still together, reminds me of my marriage, also 38 yrs accepted i went on dissibility 15 years ago and my wife is now the bread winner, but through a good accountant was able to reclaim $ 15,900 in tax credits from 2002 - 2008 tax free money to put toward our living costs.
Great life lesson! God is so good! Praise Jesus!
How did things turn out?
Go for it! 🙏
You will love it l live in my van after being together for a long time l was 13 when meet him our oldest child is 34 and l love being in mine all the best to all you lovely people
Consider regulation / maintenance & fuel cost. Stay prayerful & debt free
Bless you.
Wonderful story of Gods Faithfulness.... Thank you for sharing.
Wow. What a story... Glad you folks turned it around. Wish you the best and thank you for sharing.
Cheers from Sweden.

THIS IS AN AWESOME TESTIMONY TO CHRIST!!! MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU BOTH ALWAYS!!!!!
Your honesty is refreshing God bless you both!

Bless the both of you🥰
Happy retirement and health🙏🙏🙏
What a motivational story, your story increased my faith in the Lord. God Bless and may the Lord Bless you. You are rich in your faith which is more important than anything in this world.
Get married on 21 and lived together for 38 years. Hard to find nowadays. God bless you.
Yes, He is!
You two are very inspiring. I'm going to watch the renovation video next.
oh my I just came across your story and now I have a direction in life thank you for sharing
I have watched thousands of videos on RUclips and this by far is the realist one I have ever watched. Bless you two 💖💖
Thank you so much for sharing your story.
Thank you.
Well YES (YOU GUYS TAKE 8) 💞
Six years later I watched one of your shows when you moved into the tiny trailer.
36:00 . . . . . I've experienced just the same. It's amazing how one can adapt . . . to live, with peace in your life ! 🤗
The two of you are simply amazing and your love and respect for each other is evident! God smiles as He watches you both and I love how you credit him for all you have been through and have now. This was inspiring to watch and hear!
God Bless You! I needed this inspirational story today. Glory be to God!
I like the way you thank God. God has blessed you both. Your faith has made this happen.
Sorry to hear that. But yeah, we can relate!
Great story. Very heartfelt. Thank you for sharing this. Keep your love together. All the best.
You two are a beautiful and inspiring couple!
To God be all the glory. We trust in Him.
I have GOOSEBUMPS!!!! Bless you both!!!!
And now you know... the rest of the story.
May Jesus keep you both safe in His love ❤️😊
Boy, this proves we need everyone covered by healthcare! No one in a rich country like ours should be without adequate healthcare. Sure hope this issue is faced and remedied in the coming future. I wish all of you the best at this challenging time!🥰❤️
An incredible story ,such faith, such tenacity. Glad I found yr channel starting with the rocket stove! Thanks for yr sharing yr joys and trials. Blessings 🙌
Powerful testimony, thank you for sharing. God bless you both.
God is great all the time! "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord." - Psalms 33:12
just because someone is of a different opinion doesn't mean God doesn't exist. The Lord loves everyone, it's on them to except Christ and want a relationship with Him.
So deeply touched, so full of faith after this late evening discovery....I love your recliner corner...God bless...thank you so for sharing.
Wow Thank the Good Lord . Where do you live ? What state ? ♥️🇺🇸💙
Beautiful, beautiful story. Thank you for sharing ~ Happy Easter!
Feels too good to let go...

just stumbled your channel today. Thank you for your testimony! God Bless you! I am blessed by your faith.

Hello from San Antonio,Texas! How interesting this story of your life is.Remember the saying"When one door closes ,another door opens"I have found that saying so true in my life.
It looks nice now . How wonderful you know how to fix what you need . You two are great .
You are so welcome!
Although you made this video in 2016 I just saw it today - Dec 2019. Thank you for sharing this incredible story. God is using you to inspire others.
Your story is so uplifting. Thank you for sharing. You can see the love you share.
I loved the birds singing! Had just thought how wonderful it was, what a beautiful pleasant place! Then when you went inside & were saying you had to come inside because the birds were over doing you all talking! Lol
