Dave, you are absolutely right about this one... This Alpina is a stunner 🤩 The build quality and finishing of this watch are on par with my Breitling Avenger 43. I've been able to score one on a steel bracelet at a 50% discount and for that price it's a steal. Although the bracelet is solid and beautifully constructed, I believe that a Flieger type chronograph belongs on a leather strap. So I purchased a black Rios 1931 Scirocco strap (very reminiscent of the IWC 3777's) and enhanced it with a polished butterfly clasp. This is a gorgeous piece that is going to stay for a very long time with me. Thanks for the hint and your very detailed review 👍

Dave, I paid full price for my 'petrol blue' Startimer with black bezel . ..... but it didn't come with the sexy Saxophone sounds when I turned off the light in the toity . . . . 🎶🦊🍷🦉⏳🎃

What I really like and admire on mine are the date windows at the 6 o'clock position. The numbers remind me of old aircraft guage numbers.
