400's in my youth had similar power & weight. Honda 400F, 37 bhp, 33nm torque, 178 kg wet & 104 mph top speed. Yamaha RD 400, 44 / 41 / 165 / 107. This Enfield & similar Triumph 400 are right in the ballpark. I quite like them.

Same thinking as me more smiles per mile than almost anything just collected my playa black guerrilla today 18 mile ride home grinning abd laughing all the way home all for under £5000. The handling engine cornering ability and the way it looks 3 year warranty its a no brainer. Just get one 👍
I do like the look of the retro naked bikes. Nostalgia for me back to simple easier times, but my wife is always with travel a lot of highways. Is a good looking bike!
It's such a shame that bikes like TVS (akula 310), Bajaj (Dominar 400, Pulsar 400z) and Hero ( xpulse 200 rally, Karizma XMR) are not being exported to other countries. These r extremely cheap but we'll built bikes. Bajaj just started exporting their bikes to Brazil and I think they r selling tons of them replacing Hondas and Yamahas. The company hero with their xpulse 450 rally won the podium in Dakar rally.
More will come it's only a matter of time, all the local companies are doing good, and if you meet the requirements here, you can meet it anywhere. They don't have the expertise in making fast machines, but reliable and city dweller machines are quite a forte.
Dominar has a lot of improvement to be done to get such good remarks, first of all that cheaper chain sprocket and cheaper chains and it needs a facelift or update ASAP now@@Futuremodi
@@shaarodmahanta2473 my neighbour has one. Never said anything bad about chains. I think u have to properly maintain the chains lol. It's an affordable sports tourer with a 400cc engine. Idk if a face-lift is necessary. I'm torn between this and the Himalayan.
@Futuremodi your neighbour might be lucky i would say as I know many people who owns dominar since version 1 and even the bs6 e20 version has this chain slacking issues as it's a much cheaper chain compared to Guerrilla. Yes some people are happy who upgraded to Rolon kits or DID chains from standard ones. And it does need a upgrade considering the kind of old tech it has, looks good no doubt still feels old now. H450 is a much better and more comfortable bike go for it with eyes closed if you're gonna ride on country roads , gravel or broken tarmac roads more often.

Seen the light at last as a 450 himalayan owner I agree in everything you say about the gorilla it's so good on fuel you forget to fill it if you lift the seat you can see how well its thought about really neat not like most bikes royalenfield started making this and the himalayan at the same time they released the 411 himalayan so has been years in the making and you can tell that airbox sound at 5000rpm is addictive
Loving the smaller cc bikes, got a Triumph Scrambler 400 and the motors are reputed to be similar in power and torque... my back dictated the Scrambler with the softer suspension, but it goes to show that its better to ride a slower bike fast, than a faster bike slower... Absolutely love the 400 thumper... Great vid buddy...👍😎
I too have the 400X Scrambler, it is a fantastic bike. I down sized from a Triumph Speedmaster because it was too heavy for me, and I didn't use it to its full potential.
Look good on it, big man. I've just finished running in my Himmy 452 with obviously the same lump in it. I go far not fast, and it's more than ample..Reminds me of a lighter, friskier xt500 yamaha with all thr touring bits already on it. Which would make the Guerrilla the friskuer sr500 yam. I think they are great. And don't forget the 3yr worldwide warranty with roadside assistance. Ride safe, both 👍
It’s a great looking bike mate. I bought the Triumph speed 400 a few months back. It was before these were here. I love my triumph but I wouldn’t say get one over the other. Just what you like best, they are both 400 singles and about the same price. My husband has a Royal Enfield interceptor 650 for about 4 years and never had an issue. So if that bike gives you the grin factor I don’t think you will have any issues with it. The sadness for me is the I have a Honda monkey 125 and a Gorilla would have been a great buddy for it. 😂
Thanks for setting up the speed in Km. To be honest you could probably get two of these plus Enfield jackets helmet and gloves and probably the vacation for the cost of the GS panniers. With the eco crisis having two small bikes makes sense
That's gonna fly off the shelves for Royal Enfield! It's a lovely looking bike (With a look, I think, of the RD350?) with a very good engine with plenty for modern speed camera infested roads. Seriously, what more do you really need? I've just bought an Interceptor 650 and that's also a brilliant bike, a lot better than I expected. I've had a test ride offered on the Guerilla, I think I'm going to have to take it and see what it's all about. Great review!
I rode the himilayan 450 and loved it, but this being a more street roadster bike is more my cup of tea. Im excited to try this when it gets to the USA, if that ever happens.
I had a 452 Himi, and am going to the Guerrilla, the 21" front wheel made the 452 a bit front end tall for me, I'm 5.'8", Plus the bars round the tank on the 452 were a bit silly.. So ordered a Brava blue Guerrilla, and can't wait to get round the back lanes- I have opted to put on Michelin tyres, as the standard Ceat's were not to my feel.. Happy days :)
13:45 That series of manholes as you come round the bend can be a bit of a barsteward in the wet to someone unfamiliar with the road. I'm always wary of them, each one is in a perfect line with the other so hit one you hit them all.
The thought of you Shaun sitting very pensive on a parked hybrid Kawa bike at the end of the video from 9 days ago at Millenium with one eye on the "chimp" springs to mind... with me thinking back then, "it won't be long before we'll see a video on it", and here we are! As a guy with two big bikes (1500 and 1340), and 40 odd years of riding, i'm now at an age, where I reckon I could better appreciate a smaller bike... could this be it? Watch this space!
I do like these bikes, was looking at one the other week and the paint finish is really good, photos don't really show how good they look. I just don't seem to be able to get a test ride on one. 😂

Hi Shaun, Great review on the Royal Enfield, it dose sound as its got plenty torque 40 bhp from a 450 not bad at all nice colour scheme with the gold and red reminds me of the old Cooper F1 racing team in the 1960's. About a month ago I was talking to a bloke with a 2019 Royal Enfield 650 out side a shop in Hope near Wrexham he had the bike from new and loves it he said he doesn't want another bike. You and Faye done a video riding in to Hope a few months ago I think you were heading towards the biker cafe in Pontblyddyn near Mold and then on to the Pondarosa on the Horseshoe pass near Llangollen. Is this bike a possible purchase I think you love it. As always a great video take care
Good video I’ve seen a few of the guerilla and I think I will be buying one next year on the next plate change I love the look of them they are a beautiful looking bike I also loved the colour of that one you demoed and that engine is well proven and for the price a bargain in my eyes I only want it for back road rides till the salt goes down then it’ll stay locked in the garage with my rocket 3gt which is only a summer bike if you can call it summer in uk great video mate both you and you wife take care ride safe
The bike's a looker but the silver silencer on this clashes with the gold, it would have been better for the eye, well certainly mine, if it was black. Anyway, I don't like gold and certainly not on a bike... so i'm off to my nearest RE dealer to, 1. see what other colours there are, and 2. find out the reason it's made you happier than i've seen ya for a long time! Like a kid at christmas you were😂 Do you not think that colour would clash with the colour of Faye's car when it's stood beside it?

Hi there yeah I'd have the Guerrilla all day long , really don't see the point in a slipper clutch in small capacity bikes even in big 1s unless on track but saying all that Faye loves the Eliminator 👍🏍
The only thing I dislike about this bike is...the look of the exhaust! In my opinion (I must emphasise that....just my opinion) a bike needs to have exhausts that look like the gun barrels of a battleship...preferably in chrome! I really do hate the look of modern exhausts.

It has a certain old school Yammy RD 350 LC vibe about it . The only thing I am not too keen on, is the way they painted the tank . It looks like they ran out of red paint & finished it off in old gold . I reckon it would have looked better done old school Kwacka Z 900 style with the colours on the tank running horizontal & the same on front mudguard & tail piece . I had a Givi fly screen on a naked Bandit that fitted to headlight , that sent the wind blast over my my head . I could comfortably hold speeds 70 plus ,I am 5 foot 11 inches tall with short 30 inch inside leg , so I reckon the Givi fly screen or cheaper copy could be the answer for motorways on the Guerrilla . 👍

ECO is for slow riding in town & Performance for the open road.

It has a certain old school Yammy RD 350 LC vibe about it . The only thing I am not too keen on, is the way they painted the tank . It looks like they ran out of red paint & finished it off in old gold . I reckon it would have looked better done old school Kwacka Z 900 style with the colours on the tank running horizontal & the same on front mudguard & tail piece . I had a Givi fly screen on a naked Bandit that fitted to headlight , that sent the wind blast over my my head . I could comfortably hold speeds 70 plus ,I am 5 foot 11 inches tall with short 30 inch inside leg , so I reckon the Givi fly screen or cheaper copy could be the answer for motorways on the Guerrilla . 👍
