love the change from "I tried the NEW CHAMP K'Sante, he might be the weakest champ I have ever played" to "Crazy outplay potential" (yes ik they buffed him compared to PBE but i still think its funny)
My friends were all saying he’s super bad cause he just came out and people were building him strangely and/or losing lane miserably. Then they get beat by K’sante over and over and complain he’s broken :P Been telling them from the beginning this man has crazy potential, at least for his team, with all that cc.
yo pekin i could be wrong but im pretty sure you can turn off your ultimate by re-clicking it. so like if you kill the target you want and more people show up and its more important to be tanky and run, you can turn it off to get hour stats back
Just bumped into this channel and what he said at 5:30, mentioning the rank immediately earnt my respect. I don't play league anymore but I wish every league content creator was honest like him unlike those other freaking cringy no self respect click baiters. I don't think it matters much to but you earnt an immediate subscription from this nobody. Well deserved!
Nice I was literally just looking for K’sante vids and one of the best League RUclipsrs uploads one on him lol I’m still not sure how good he is, but he looks super fun to play, and he’s mad fun to watch, so hopefully he’s at least playable in high elo
Ah, see, the secret sauce is Gargoyle's Stoneplate. Literally 2nd item. Completely changes the balance of the champ. You can use Stoneplate while in ult to negate a lot of the debuff and further increase his power - it's like Stoneplate was made for K'Sante. Sunfire > Gargoyle's > HP tank item depending on game state (or even FH still if mana is struggling), and you're golden. =) Great gameplay though, he's so fun to watch! I'd love to see some more K'Sante, even though I know it's not your typically preferred style of champ.
I'd say usually it's Sunfire > Stoneplate > Frozen Heart or Randuins > Force of Nature > Whichever of FH/Randuins you didn't build earlier. Obviously he's weaker into more AP-heavy comps, but still very doable. The big thing is that getting the +60AR/+60MR at your 2nd item (+120 scaling stats, in a sense), alongside Stoneplate's passive scales you at least 35% more than any other 2nd item, not to mention the insurance & power the active gives during your ult. Frankly you could just Ult straight into the active if you're outnumbered. It's crazy. I also prefer Randuin's to Thornmail usually. I just think it's way stronger unless you're going into a HEAVILY healing team/opponent, or if they somehow don't have a crit champ on the other team. Anyway, I'm a nobody but after watching a few challenger-level players try to figure him out, this seems to be far and above the most successful and sensible way to build him efficiently. Not trying to tell anyone how to play their game, though, just a suggestion for maybe a follow-up in the future where maybe he shines a bit more. :)
I've played against a couple of k'santes (normals, I don't do ranked), and what seemed to happen is they were successfully tanking, then used their ult into the middle of a fight and immediately died to their stat loss. The way you used ult in this game were more thought out - trap your lane opponent under tower, or kidnap a carry and play as a temporary bruiser on top of them.
People doing that is a lot of why his win rate is so low at lower elos. They keep forgetting that the ult does indeed have downsides, even beyond the tankiness, you have less cc in all out mode.
Day 11 of being a PekinWoof channel member: nothing new to say today, did my washing? idfk, visiting a friend tonight which should be fun, still no news from my employers :/
i woke up at 11am today and only finished my chores at like 2pm. but i cancelled an appointment i had so i could basically spend my saturday doing nothing and it all worked out. sometimes you need days like that. where you just stay at home and have your alone time
the combo you talk about at 2:40 . i do something close to that. but rather then Q them closer and then E behind them and W them to tower. I normaly rather get Q ready, then dash in with E so im right next to them, if you use Q on them while next to them, they will land on the other side of you. and thats counted as a stun. so you even have time to charge up W. Then about the build, Max Q then W ( it does not say so but does make stun longer ) then ult when you can and last E. items, first "Jak'Sho" great for longer fights specially late game. "Steelcaps boots" then "Sunfire" and after that "Gargoyle Stoneplate" stoneplate is a great active combo with your ult. specially if they have a champ with a execute. these items is my basiclly always go to, in this order after that it kinda depends if they have a alot MR "Force Of Nature" if they only have 1 heavy ap, then i just go "Randuins" and "Thornmail". MR is really not that important, specially in late game since E Shield will easy eat up an ap ability and W will be a 100% dmg reduction while ulting and atleast 90% to 100% without, so just time it right. Also totally random thing, but i just love how you say "its just a matter of keeping my ability and seeing if we can bait her in" at 6:50 and right when you finish saying it she just freely at you under tower, did not even need to try to bait she wanted to help you show it.
About what you were saying at 22:40 about his W scaling and the ult stat loss, he actually only loses BASE stats, by an amount based on his bonus stats, and all of his abilities scale off BONUS stats only. This way, his stats are reduced, but his ability values are not.
Day 63 of reminding Pekin before next April Fools to do both the “League streamer tucks you into bed ASMR” and the “Challenger player shows you how to cook frozen salmon"
Hey Pekin, I played as you as teemo and didn't realize it was you til after the game. I'm so glad I couldn't lock K'sante first. His is fun, but his early game is so weak in certain matchups I can't imagine how excruciating playing on pbe must have been.
Im curious if ksante to an extent might be the seraphine release champ when seraphine released it was before we got the item rework to where we got mythics and such and she was a very bad champ at the time but as soon as the items came out she became really good with new tank items/reworks eventually coming out im curious if maybe those might bring up or not i doubt it but one can hope
Ksante looks SO FUN. He seems like he scales very well and can now do a lot more stuff since the buffs, but he's still weak in the early game and can get clapped really hard by enemy jungler.
Dude you're incredible, from calm decision making (I would've died in so many cases from not backing off), to explaining macro, to sick 1v2s and 1v3s. You're the best.
Holy, I'm starting to think that Ksante is sttronk as hell wtf those 1vs1 were hella one sided Also, really nice long vid going into different situations, even if you were vs low elo it was extremely entertaining and engaging!
Depending on the match-up his early Q -> P spam is pretty brutal. One thing I've considered, though, is that all of his kit was balanced on the PBE with all the new tank mythic options and item changes and I feel like that can't get ignored when evaluating his current state. I would rather have any one of those mythics with his kit then the mythics currently on offer.
Would maxing W first be better since Q cooldown is gated by resistance. W would help with bursty trades and allow you to trade more often. I agree though the biggest changes is the E range to allies. You can get some unexpected plays
I've enjoyed maxing W first. I can see the draw in maxing Q, but between the base Q and his auto-attack (which feels like it gets more range on the mark proc) I've never had an issue last hitting.
As a camille main whos trying to pick up K'sante I laughed out loud when you said it would take 3 Q's to kill K'sante. Maybe 2 from full hp. If she gets sunderer and you ult she can one shot outside of your W
Wow if Jinx was mid during that final fight inside their base that could have potentially been scary because she could have evened the numbers in the team fight
i've been spamming K'sante. champs like Darius, Mord, and Sett have never been easier to beat. just W their hooks and they lose the initiative and all their momentum. Darrius dies before he can even stack his passive because Ksante's ult is so nuts with ignite. ive had 3 different Mords SCARED to E me knowing that they will do no damage and end up having to flash to get away or die because K'sante is so hard to get away from🤣🤣🤣 honestly busted
i dont know why u dont play him mid. Chimes made a video recently, he thinks its his best role. Not sure if i agree or not, but i think you should at least try it out (if u haven't).
I think K'sante + Fasting Senna has potential. Especially against shorter range ADC / support. He has decent trades / poke potential that are AoE, a gap closer / shield that is better when used on an ally, a shield / knock back for outplaying, and an ult that can easily isolate the enemy support for a kill. K'sante is generally fun, kinda like a tanky Yasuo, but could really just some love and late game scaling.
@@noahclouse1830 : Don't need to get close except with E + charged Q. Or wait for Senna to land snare. It is similar to Tahm Kench + Senna. You mainly play tanky support and just take cs and get Senna souls.

19:00 that ult hurts to watch. its fine in a 1v1 but in a teamfight its equivalent to giving the enemy team half your health for free. wait until you're around half hp already then ult. giving your team time to get everybody low so you can clean up. this will also give the new s13 mythic Jak'sho time to stack up and maximize damage output and survivability.
Na K'Sante has always been good. The buffs help, but that defensive tower combo you did you did early was still possible before the buffs. His utility is crazy good. Not sure why the community decided that he is a weak champion and needs to be made broken.
