Yes!! The story of the Peace Pilgrim. A robber approached her car. She saw his hand and knew he was intending to harm her. She spoke calmly, respectfully to him. He changed his demeanor toward her. He remained with her on her peace pilgrimage and became her bodyguard. Yes we can influence people to connect with their heart. Not always what you say but how you react. 💯
True Story: When I was 4 years old my brother and I were asleep in the backseat of my Mom's old mustang coming back from my Grandparents house . It was probably 1:30am in the morning and suddenly she was being pulled over by a cop. I later learned some chilling details about that night: She said the police flashing light looked a little strange and she thinks it was one of the magnetic rooftop deals (this was the 1970's) and when the so called cop approached our vehicle she felt he looked and felt off. As she tells the story, she said the officer told her she was driving over the speed limit and was asking her to please step out of the vehicle, but just as he said this, I woke up and popped my head up from the back seat. He immediately saw me and changed his whole demeanor and told her he was letting her go with a warning. When we got home, she called the police and we later learned there was a serial killer pulling women over, posing as a cop and killing them. Pete's question sparked this memory because I think if my Mom was alone that night she would have been a victim.
