"You've SEEN me, but can you STOP me?" is something that would absolutely induce a primal sort of fear in me, just for the record. There's something about it that's so sinister
That basically sums up fighting these stupid (affectionate) monsters. There are multiple monsters with like 3 part moves that always fuck me up, the amount of times I've tensed up so hard just watching my guy get ragdolled to the point of it hurting my abs is far too high to count. Any monsters with moves that throw me up in the air can go fuck themselves, they suck so much.

Echidna is also the name of a playable character from Fire Emblem The Binding Blade who spends a lot of her time attempting to recruit people to help rebuild a village destroyed by bandits.

She had previous history with one of the main characters called Volt in that they used to work together and she was always in his shadow so she killed the leader Master Mikado and blamed Volt. Eventually you come across her twice in the game and basically kick her butt each time. She used capoeira and was a somewhat cool character and in one of the ending she ends up taking Volts advice and coming to work as a bouncer at the bar named Fate. Mine also has nothing to do with this but I also wanted to share.

It consumes superheroes who get too close and vomits out distorted copies of them who hate the original with a passion. There's certainly a thematic level of parallel between that and what Julia does, but mostly I just wanted to share as well.

I agree Julia is a remarkable being, but she hasn’t done renderings for other Drawfee artists since they went independent. Possibly even before that.

@@james_7718 David is the primary editor, but all of them except karina edit episodes (At least as of the last time that they've talked about their editing processes) at points. The "this is the only control I have over this bit" points to it being Jacob, not David on this specific episode.
Julia edits the Drawtective episodes. Jacob edits the speed draws and Nuesday episodes and probably episodes he hosts. I don't recall them saying Nathan edits anymore. David edits the rest (the majority).
yep, jacob edited this one! julia edits the drawtectives videos (and jacob edits the audio for them), jacob edits the speed draws, nuesday eps, and some other eps, nathan checks over the episodes before they're posted and does the final edits if there are any bits that need fixing, and david edits the rest (unless they got a freelancer to edit, in which case they put it in the description)!

Character development
Every Drawfee episode includes a bit that gets absolutely put of control and violently takes over the show in a comedic mutiny, of sorts. This one was led by Luigi
And then weed took over for a bit.
Y'know, given master rank monsters' obsession with jumping behind you, Barioth's little "Oops! You saw me, but can you stop me?!", pose is super on point.

Karina's drawing reminds me of being a kid in church summer camp. When it's way too early in the morning, were all half asleep and miserable, and were all sitting on the floor singing church songs with one very enthusiastic counselor trying his best to get us hyped.
I hated camp songs and all of the overly-cheerful councilors that worked with the super young kids.

At my church's sleepaway camp, we were all split into cabins and each cabin got the chance to camp outside for a night. I remember being super hyped: the stars were out, there was a big fire, and one kid stood above it yelling "I'm a pyromaniac!!!!" (we were 12. imagine a shirtless hyper 12 year old boy) The only problem? We didn't actually have tents. Just our sleeping bags. And there were mosquitoes. Just. So many mosquitoes. We ended up having to go inside after a few hours, and the cabins were all locked because it was too late, so we had to sleep on the hard floor of the church. And Then get up extra early to go "feed the animals" (go pet some sheep and goats and stuff). It was awful. The counselors were Exactly like this that next morning. I wonder how much coffee they had to drink. Thank you for vividly bringing back that memory lol

Nathan got the Bishaten disturbingly close to the real thing, Karina nailed Barioth's arm spikes on the drawing's tail and it made me want to squeal, DestielConfessions X Digimon = Barioth is the best sentiment ever, and Julia's reaction to the actual Somnacanth as opposed to her adorable creation was just amazing! Would've liked to see Nargacuga though
